Ayaan sigh trying to open his eyes but the brightness in the room prevented him from doing so

"Please pull the curtain down"he heard his mom's voice and the room suddenly got dark. He opened his eyes immediately seeing his mom sitting beside him and Mariam.

"What happened?!" He asked and find out his throat is dry

"Take" his mom handed him a glass of water and he drank everything putting the glass cup down

"What happened?" He asked again and look around "why am I in the hospital?"

"You fainted yesterday and we have to rush you to the hospital"his mom replied

" What time is it?"Ayaan asked

" It's almost four" his mom replied and he look around

" Where's Samah?"Ayaan asked and his mom frowned

"She's in the police custody" his mom replied and his eyes widen

" What?! Why?!"he asked sitting up

"We found her with you when you fainted so we held her responsible"Mariam replied and Ayaan glared at her

" Nonsense!"Ayaan said angrily standing up from the bed,he pull out the drip fixed on him

"Where are you going?! You just woke up!" He's mom said standing up

" To the police station you decided to lock her in" Ayaan said angrily and starts walking out of the hospital. His mom and Mariam followed him immediately

"Let me take you there please,the doctor said you're stressed out and you need a lot of rest"His mom said and he contemplated before following her to her car. Mariam wanted to sit beside and he glared at her

"Don't sit beside me!"He says angrily and Mariam almost jumped out of fear sitting in the front seat of the car

They arrived at the police station and Ayaan jumped from the car heading inside the station without waiting for his mom. His mom and Mariam ran over to meet him as they showed him were Samah was held.

He met her scared and crying and that broke his heart,the police man came to open the door and he rush inside to hug her. Samah bursted into tears hugging him back

"Ayaan!!!" Samah said in-between tears

"I'm sorry,I should have wake up earlier" Ayaan said standing up with Samah " let's go back to school" he said holding Samah's hand and they walk out of the police station. Ayaan's mom is too stunned to talk,he have never see his son being this close to anyone,he doesn't even let her his mother to touch him and here he is touching Samah like it means nothing.

Ayaan's mom drive them back to the school and refuse to apologise to Samah,she feels like she haven't done anything wrong.

"Let's go to my cabin" Ayaan said when his mom is gone. Samah nodded and followed him inside

"You must be hungry" Ayaan said and Samah nodded. Ayaan prepared noodles for the both of them, they sat quietly eating their food when Ayaan broke the silence

"I'm sorry for the way my mom treated you" Ayaan said and Samah stop eating

" Who's that woman anyways"Samah asked and Ayaan stop eating too

"Which woman?" Ayaan asked

"The one I left you with. Something must have happened. You were taking time and I decided to come and check up on you only to meet you on the floor and I got punished for what I didn't do"Samah said and Ayaan sigh

" Let's not talk about it please!" Ayaan replied squeezing his eyea shut

" We have to talk about it,atleast I deserve to know why I was being punished"Samah replied stubbornly

" You should leave some things the way they're,stop trying to know everything"Ayaan said and Samah got angry. She chuckled dryly

"I should let some things be?! Why are you so full of secrets huh?! There is Miss Olivia saga and this too?! It feels as if I don't know you. Can't you be truthful and transparent for once!"Samah shouted

" It's okay Samah!"Ayaan shouted out of anger

" Now you raise your voice on me?!"Samah said chuckling dryly and stood up " You know what,fuck this! Fuck you!"Samah says and started walking out of the cabin. She was expecting Ayaan to call her back but he didn't and that broke her heart.

She entered her room and saw Junia and Eden breathing a sigh of relief

"Bitch! Where have you been?! I just woke up and then you're gone!" Junia shouted but Samah didn't reply her climbing her bed

"Is she deaf?!" Junia asked a rhetorical question looking around the room " I'm talking to you Samah!" She raised her voice

" I think you should let her be for now"Eden suddenly said

" I won't, Samah where have you been?!" Junia raise her voice again

"Can you just stop barking like bingo and let me be!"Samah shouted and Junia got shocked and slowly it turns into a blooming anger

"Eden did you hear her?! She called me a dog! She called Junia a fucking dog!"Junia shouted angrily

" Can you calm down?"Eden asked trying to place her hand on Junia's shoulder but Junia swat her hand away leaving the room. Eden sighed and went over to meet Samah who is laying down

"Samah" Eden called gently and Samah turn to look at her "what you said wasn't really nice" Eden said and Samah roll her eyes " what happened?"

" I'm not ready to talk about it" Samah replied and Eden nods

" You know I'm always here for you,when you're alright you need to apologise to Junia"Eden said and Samah nodded closing her eyes

Junia walk out of the hostel angrily and saw Breeze smiling at whatever the boys around him are talking about,Breeze saw her and smiled walking towards her

"Hey what's up?!" Breeze says in a cheerful manner

"I'm not in the mood" Junia replied and Breeze chuckled

"Why are you not in the mood?"

" I'm angry"Junia replied kicking pebbles

" Who made you angry?" Breeze asked

"Samah" Junia replied rolling her eyes while Breeze chuckled

" What did she do? "Breeze asked

"She called me a barking bingo" Junia replied frowning her face and Breeze bursted into a full grown laughter

"You don't mean it!" Breeze said in between his laughter

"Are you making jest of me or what?"Junia asked giving Breeze the bad eye

" I'm sorry I'm not, it's just that...." Breeze couldn't complete his sentence and started laughing again

"You know what,bye!" Junia said and started walking away.

Monday came earlier than they all expected, Samah isn't ready to see Ayaan and what breaks her heart the more is that Ayaan haven't even try to talk to her

She was carrying her school bag when she felt someone standing at her side,she turn and saw Eden

"What?" She asked

"This is wrong" Eden said with a sigh

"What's wrong?" Samah asked

"You and Junia not talking,it's not right" Eden said and Samah rolled her eyes

" She started it remember" Samah says

"She was just concerned,you should be glad"Eden said and Samah open her mouth to talk but couldn't

" Junia!"Eden suddenly raise her voice calling Junia, Junia who is busy wearing her shoes look up

"What?!" Junia asked

"You guys should better make up. We are not leaving this room until that happens"Eden said sitting down.

Junia rolled her eyes and continue wearing her shoes,few minutes later Samah sighed and went closer to her

"I'm sorry" she said but Junia ignored her "I'm sorry Junia,I shouldn't have said those hurtful words. I wasn't in the right state of mind"Samah added and Junia sigh standing up

" I was only worried,when I didn't see you. I even have to go and meet your cousin sister to ask about your whereabouts and she said she don't know,that got me scared"Junia said and Samah's eyes widen

" You meet up with Husna?!"Samah asked,she knew immediately this is not going to end well between her and Husna

"I was only worried" Junia replied and they suddenly heard Eden clapping, they all turn to look at her

"Cut to the chase,hug and let's go. It's almost time for assembly" Eden said and Samah went closer to Junia hugging her,Junia hug her back and giggles

"You owe me a lot of explanation" Junia said and Samah nodded

"We will talk during break" Samah said and Junia smiled. They left the room heading for assembly,Samah and Junia sat down together while Eden left them to conduct the assembly.

After the end of the assembly,Junia and Samah left and suddenly saw Breeze and Jess walking towards them

"You guys are cool now?" Breeze asked and Samah got confused before she understands what he was saying

"Yeah" Samah and Junia replied thesame time

"Where's Eden?" Jess suddenly asked

"We left her in the hall" Junia replied,Jess open his mouth to talk but close it back

"We should head to class" Breeze said and they started walking back to the class. They all went to sit down in their various seats waiting for their first class of the day,the door suddenly opened and Samah turn to see Ayaan entering inside,their eyes met and Samah look away her mood going sour immediately

"Samah" Breeze suddenly called her and she turn to look at him

"I want to tell you something later" Breeze said with a smile

" I hate suspense,tell me now" Samah said and Breeze shakes his head saying no

" Breeze!"Samah whines and Breeze bursted into laughter

"Okay,I was thinking about if we can leave the school and you know maybe go out and enjoy the time"Breeze says

" We are starting tests very soon"Samah replied

" Yeah I know,not that we are going to stay there forever,just to maybe enjoy a little before all the reading and midterm break"Breeze said and Samah nodded

" I'm in. I need some time away to clear my head" Samah replied and Breeze's smile got wider

Time move so fast and the day is already over,Samah felt so tired and couldn't wait for any of her friends,she needs a good sleep. She was yawning about entering her hostel block when she saw Husna standing akimbo glaring at her

"What now?!" Samah asked looking clearly tired

"Where did you leave the school to?!" Husna asked

" Nowhere"Samah replied, she's not ready for this

" So you have start leaving the school to see men,I wonder how they let you pass through the gate"Husna said and Samah frowns

" Stop saying bullshits!"Samah said and Husna's eyes widen

" Oh! Now you have grown the guts to talk to me anyhow,thank God our visiting day is coming up. I'm going to tell my mom how you're leaving the school and following men all around!"Husna said and Samah yawn again

" Whatever that suits you"Samah said and started entering her hostel,Husna huffed and match away

Unknown to them Eden have been standing looking at them,she was waiting for the right moment to defend Samah but good enough Samah was able to step up for herself in a her own way. Eden smiled and was about walking away when she suddenly felt someone holding her hand and also preventing her from walking away, she turn immediately and saw Jess holding her hand

"What's it?" Eden asked

"We need to talk" Jess said and Eden rolled her eyes

" We have absolutely nothing to talk about"Eden replied

" We have everything to talk about Eden,lower your silly pride for once!" Jess said almost getting angry

" Let me go!"Eden said

"I overheard you on phone with your mom" Jess said letting go of Eden's hand,Eden as shocked with what Jess said and almost lost her balance

"What did you hear?!" Eden asked trying to control her threatening tears

"We will talk, let's meet around 8pm in the basket ball court"Jess said and walk away
