The previous day

Immediately Samah left,Ayaan broke down and couldn't take it anymore. He can't believe how Samah have so much influence in his life that the fight could get to him like this

"Hey buddy!" Ayaan heard Jess's voice and turn to see him smiling with a bottle of non alcoholic wine in his hand

"Go! I'm not in the mood tonight" Ayaan said and Jess chuckled

"When are you ever in the mood, I struggled so hard to bring this wine inside the school today"Jess said and Ayaan turn looking at the wine." It's non alcoholic"

" Okay"Ayaan said and started going to his cabin,Jess followed him and they went inside. Ayaan met that Miss Olivia is gone. He went to bring two glass cups. Jess collected it and pour the wine on the two cups

"What happened?" Jess asked

"Samah is angry at me"Ayaan replied looking away and Jess smiled

"You must really like her" Jess said

"She's my only friend" Ayaan replied and Jess place his hand on his chest feigning hurt

"What about me?" He asked

"I don't know" Ayaan said shrugging with a sly smile

"Woah! I just saw you smile!" Jess said chuckling

"That's a lie!" Ayaan said frowning

"I'm serious!" Jess said chuckling again "don't worry she will come and talk to you very soon"

"How do you know that?"Ayaan asked

" Samah don't look like someone that can stay long without talking to her friends, whatever the problem is I hope you guys sort it out very soon"Jess said and Ayaan nodded

" I have decided to take your advice,I'm not giving up on her"Jess suddenly said

" Good for you"Ayaan said closing his eyes while relaxing on the sofa

"Let's play your PS5" Jess suddenly said and Ayaan open his eyes

" No!"

" Okay,I'm hungry. Lemme get myself something to eat" Jess said

" Are you always here because of my food?"Ayaan asked raising his left brow up

" What do you think?" Jess asked and Ayaan gave him a serious look. He bursted into laughter

"Let's just play the game,no food for you today" Ayaan said and Jess smiled.

Back to present

Ayaan stood up chuckling "I look like a cry baby right?" He asked

"No,you look pretty a very very pretty boy"Samah replied and he chuckled. Samah entangled their hands and they head to his cabin

Samah look around with a smile on her face.

"What do you normally do when you're alone in here?" Samah suddenly asked

" Anything that comes to my mind at that moment" Ayaan replied and Samah nodded.

She sat down on one of the sofa with a sigh

"What's the time?" She asked

"Almost seven" Ayaan replied looking at his phone

" Wow! It's time for magrib prayer. You should go and pray"Samah said and Ayaan scoff " what's the meaning of that?"

" Why should I pray to a God that forsakes me"Ayaan said and Samah's eyes went wide

" Astagfirullah! What are you saying Ayaan!!" Samah said breathing in and out deeply " do you think all of us that perform our five daily prayers have it okay for us?! Things are not going well for us too,you know!"

" I don't like talking about this!"Ayaan said looking everywhere but Samah

"We are going to talk about this! I lost my parents and unborn sibling when I was very very young,I moved in with my aunt who never treated me as one of her own. I had it all rough with no friends but I never for once turn my back on God cause I know,he's the one protecting me no matter the trials I'm going through. I trust him!! And you should too"Samah said and Ayaan stood up

" You don't get it! You don't know what I'm going through!" Ayaan said and Samah sighed

"There are people going through a lot more than whatever you think you're going through. You're a Muslim Ayaan,act like one!"Samah said and started walking out of the house

"Where are you going?" Ayaan asked

"You're annoying" Samah replied with an huff, Ayaan went closer to her holding her hand

"Show me the way. I don't know how to pray" Ayaan said looking away and Samah smiled hugging him

" Welcome to Islam" Samah said and they went back to sit down while she explained to him how to pray

"How are we going to communicate,since you don't have a phone anymore. I don't mind buying you one"Ayaan said while seeing Samah off

" Don't bother about that,I will ask Eden permission to use her phone"Samah replied

" Are you sure? Do you trust her?"Ayaan asked

" Yes"Samah replied and Ayaan nodded

"I will get you a beautiful gown for the party tomorrow"Ayaan suddenly said

" Add insha Allah, you're not the owner of life"Samah said and Ayaan chuckled

" Okay.... I will get you a beautiful gown for the party tomorrow insha Allah"Ayaan said

" That's more like it"Samah said with a smile "don't get me something revealing. I don't like it"

"I won't" Ayaan said and they stopped walking. Samah waved Ayaan goodbye and she head to her hostel

"I perceive love in the air" Ayaan suddenly heard Jess voice and turn scowling at him

"She's my friend,a very very close friend" Ayaan corrected

" Keep on deceiving yourself. You should be telling me thank you,I helped you talk to her"Jess said and there was a short silence. Jess was expecting an insult or something negative was Ayaan

"Thank you. I really appreciate" Ayaan said and Jess eyes widen a little. Jess open his mouth to talk when he saw Eden walking out of the hostel briskly with her phone in her hand

"I will see you later" Jess said and Ayaan nodded walking away

Jess followed Eden quietly and hide when he saw she stopped walking,she picked her ringing phone and placed it on her right ear

"I'm not coming home for mid term break!" Eden shouted

"I don't want to see your husband!..... He's not my daddy!"Eden shouted

" No daddy will keep on repeatedly raping his child!" Eden shouted again bursting into tears. Jess covered his mouth up with his hand,he can't believe what he just heard

"Oh my God! Okay! Okay!!!" Eden shouted and the call came to an end. She slumped on the floor crying her eyes out. Jess contemplated in going over to her but thought against it and left, still wondering about what he just heard

Samah went inside the room after taking her bath,she saw Eden on her bed looking at the gown Ayaan bought for her. She had told Eden everything and she's okay with it. She's leaving the school with Ayaan tonight because it's the night of the party

"I should hurry up before Junia comes inside" Samah said and Eden chuckled. Samah haven't told Junia anything,she planned on doing that after the party

Samah started dressing up,Ayaan bought her a black silky gown that covered up all her body but still look very beautiful on her. She matched it up with a silver veil, Ayaan have bought her a silver heels too

"I hope I won't fall on this heels" Samah said and Eden chuckled

" Come over here"Eden said and she went closer to her. Eden took out Junia's make up kit

" What are you doing?!" Samah asked

"You can't leave your face like this" Eden said and Samah gave her a skeptical look "forget the fact I don't make up or act girlish,I'm very good with the pencil"Eden said and Samah nodded sitting down

Eden doll her face up in an hour time,Samah stood up and saw herself in the mirror and was shocked. This is the first time she's ever having a make over

"This is so beautiful!" She squealed

"I know right" Eden said feeling proud

Samah took her silver purse turning around for Eden to see

"You look expensive!" Eden said raising a thumb up

" Really?!"Samah asked

" You wouldn't want me to tell you the price of the designers on your body"Eden said and Samah's eyes widen slightly. She don't know about designers and she didn't know what she's wearing is designers wears. She already heard how crazily expensive those clothings are

"Your man said he's in the school garage" Eden said raising her phone up at Samah, Samah chuckled

" He's not my man"

" He will be someday. Stop denying it, you're in love! " Eden said and Samah just shook her head leaving the hostel.

She walk slowly to the school garage thinking about what Ayaan is going to say, she hopes he wasn't going to think she's over dressed. She started wondering if she should have left her face bare. Her steps halted when she saw the back of Ayaan,he was dress in a casual jeans and shirt. Samah almost face palmed for taking time to get all doll up

"Samah! Why are you standing?!" Ayaan asked with a chuckle and Samah went closer to him. Ayaan's eyes went over her body and smiled

"You're looking so beautiful" he said and Samah feels her heartbeat going faster,she look up to see his beautiful face

"You look very beautiful too,my white boy" Samah said and Ayaan bursted into laughter

" White boy? Where did that one comes from?" He asked

" Well you don't look Nigerian at all,your face is different,your skin color too and your hair. Breeze is more of a Nigerian than you"Samah said and Ayaan chuckled

" Let's go" he said and open the car door for Samah like a gentle man,Samah smiled entering the car

Ayaan entered the car too and start the car driving out of the school compound

"Your mom...." Samah said not knowing how to complete the sentence

" She's not scary" Ayaan replied

"Your family?" Samah asked fidgeting. She's so nervous

"Humans like you" Ayaan replied

"Common Ayaan! I'm nervous here, I haven't been to something like this and all your replies..."Ayaan cut her short chuckling

" Don't be nervous, there's nothing there to be nervous about"Ayaan replied

" I feel like I'm over dressed and the make over too"Samah begins to ramble,Ayaan held her left hand that's closer to him and she stopped looking at him

"You're perfect. I love everything on you and you're not over dressed,you will realise it when we get there"Ayaan said and took his phone giving it to Samah " you should play games to get your mind off things"

"Thank you" Samah replied and tried using her finger print on the phone, surprisedly her finger print still works on the phone. She smiled widely and started playing games

Samah look up at the mansion before them,Ayaan parked his car in the garage and open the door for Samah,Samah came down and saw plenty expensive cars and people going in,she realised how very dressed they're seems Ayaan was saying the truth

"We should go meet my parents" Ayaan said and Samah nodded,she felt her nervousness coming back in

They went inside and Ayaan look around,he smiled and started walking fast,Samah followed him and they stopped in front of an Arabian woman. Immediately Samah's eyes landed on her,she knew where Ayaan took all of his features from

"Mom!" Ayaan said and his mom raise her hands to hug him,she sighed and drop it back. Samah knew Ayaan still don't let anyone touch him except her, she's just surprised that includes his mom

"Ayaan! My boy is growing so tall" his mom said and he chuckled

" Meet my friend Samah,Samah meet my mom" Ayaan introduced them and Ayaan's mom gave her a scrutinizing look

"Good evening ma'am" Samah greeted wishing the ground can just open up and swallow her

"Welcome child,it's going to be a long night" Ayaan's mom said

Definitely going to be a long night!
