The school came to an end for the day and they all started going back to their hostel when Junia broke the silence

"I heard a lawyer will be visiting us soon" Junia said and Samah halted her steps

" Why?"Samah asked

"Well I don't know maybe form of orientation for those who wants to become lawyers"Junia said shrugging

" Wow! Really?!"Samah asked looking so excited

" Yeah"Junia replied with a nod

" What's up why so happy?"Breeze asked chuckling

" I want to be a lawyer"Samah replied

"That's nice. You can be my dad's company private lawyer when the time comes"Jess said and Samah smiled brightly

" Seriously?! Are you for real?!" Samah asked excitedly

" Yeah"Jess replied

" that sounds great" Samah said and turn to see Eden that's unusually quiet

" Eden?" She called

"I need to use the toilet" Eden said walking away immediately

"What's wrong with her?" Samah asked

"I don't know" Breeze replied placing his hand around Samah's neck

"La illah! Take your hand. It's so heavy" Samah said and they all bursted into laughter

Eden made her way inside the room,she met the room empty. She dropped her bag climbing her bed immediately,her heart started beating fast when she remembered how her time with Jess went by

Is he kissing me?!

Eden immediately came back to her senses and pushed Jess away,she slapped him immediately breathing heavily. Jess just bursted out laughing while rubbing his sore cheek

"Why will you do that?!" Eden shouted wiping her lips away

"Why did you kiss back?" Jess asked

"I didn't kiss you back! you motherfucker!" Eden shouted getting unnecessarily angry

" Just admit it you like me" Jess said and Eden shook her head

"I don't" Eden said turning to walk away

"This is thesame thing you did in JSS2 third term. If you would have just lowered your pride and accept me then,we wouldn't have been here now"Jess said and Eden halted her steps. She couldn't control the betraying tears that slide down her face. She wants to shout,she wants to tell Jess everything that's going wrong with her but she just can't. She's too timid to share her darkest days

"You shouldn't bother anymore" Eden said wiping her tears and turn to look at Jess " we agreed to become friends without talking about those times. We shouldn't bring it all up again"

" I'm not your friend Eden!"Jess shouted " I'm someone in love with you and you know it!"

" You have Jane now right?! So stop all this. It's not good for our mental health"Eden said and turn to walk away but Jess grabbed her hand and push her to the nearby wall encaging her with his wide body so that she can't escape

"Are you sure you don't have any atom of feelings for me?"Jess asked.

" Yes"Eden said looking elsewhere but Jess. Jess grabbed her jaws making her to look at him and slowly kiss her again,Eden gasped because she wasn't expecting that and that gave Jess an easy access into her mouth. He kissed her gently and deep and before Eden knows it,she slowly succumbed to the feeling and kissed him back. She got lost in him, her hands around his neck pushing him closer

Jess suddenly stopped the kiss taking a step away from Eden, slowly Eden opened her eyes realising what she have done

"Good luck trying to fight your body against me" Jess said and walk away,Eden slumped on the ground breathing heavily

" No! No! No! What was wrong with me?! Why did I kiss him back?!"Eden said shaking in her bed looking very frustrated "I might as well look like a horny dog"

"A honey what?!"she suddenly heard Junia ask and sat up immediately

"Nothing" she replied too quickly standing up from her bed,she grab her towel and sponge case "I will go and take my shower now"

"Am I the only one noticing Eden is acting weird?"Junia asked and Samah chuckled

" Let her be"Samah replied and started taking off her uniform

Samah was busy reciting her Qur'an when her phone beeped showing she have a message

She dropped her Qur'an taking her phone,she met a message from a strange number

Meet me at the garden

She look at the message confusingly

Who are you?!

She texted back

Ayaan you dumbass!

How TF did you get my number?!😳😱

Samah waited for more than five minutes but Ayaan didn't reply,she kept her Qur'an in it's usual place standing up,she's already wearing a jogger and a hoodie. She wore an hijab to cover it up going to the garden. She met Ayaan sitting down with his camera

"How did you get my number?!" Samah asked

"Good evening to you too" Ayaan said and raise his camera up snapping Samah

"I told you to stop it! I hate unexpected shots!" Samah said and Ayaan took another one

" Are you trying to annoy me?!" Samah asked and Ayaan took another shot

"Ya Allah!" Samah said looking at the full moon and Ayaan took another shot

"Perfect!" Ayaan said with a smile on his face

"What's wrong with you?" Samah asked frowning

"You" Ayaan replied nonchalantly

"What?!"Samah asked looking surprised

"You make too much noise. Ever considered being quiet or act like typical scholarship students?!"Ayaan asked and Samah chuckled dryly

" Typical scholarship students? I don't understand" Samah asked

" Typical scholarship student like being cute and mysterious with nerdy glass, always quiet and all the time with books"Ayaan replied and Samah bursted into laughter

" That was then"Samah said shaking her head

"You mean?" Ayaan asked sitting on the floor,placing his camera beside him

"I use to be very quiet and I don't have friends cause I was scared but now that I have the opportunity to be myself,I'm taking it without looking back"Samah said and Ayaan shook his head

" You can go"Ayaan said looking at the sky

"What?!" Samah asked

"I'm done with you so you can go"Ayaan replied and Samah scoffed not believing what Ayaan said

"You must be mad!" Samah said angrily walking away. She suddenly remembered Ayaan is supposed to take Husna out on a date and halted her steps squeezing her eyes shut and walk back angrily to meet Ayaan

"Hope my insult won't stop you from taking Husna out?"Samah asked

" No, I like fine girls"Ayaan said teasingly

"So you like me?" Samah asked with a sly smile

"Who said you're fine? You ugly bitch!" Ayaan said and Samah's smile fell immediately

"Fuck you!" Samah said raising her middle finger at Ayaan

" My bedroom will make sense,what do you think?" Ayaan asked with a sly smile

" What?!"Samah asked not understanding what Ayaan means

" You said fuck me"Ayaan said shrugging and Samah realised what Ayaan means immediately

"Ya Allah! Pervert!" Samah shouted and started running away. Ayaan bursted into laughter looking at Samah until she vanishes

He took his camera going through the pictures he have taken and smiled

"Perfect model" Ayaan muttered and suddenly heard someone cracking his throat beside him,he shouted and jump turning to see Jess

"What the fuck?!" Ayaan said trying to calm his beating heart " I know you don't like me but try killing me?! It's a low blow bro!"

" Oh my God!"Jess said and bursted into laughter " see I'm sorry I didn't mean that" Jess said after calming himself down " and I don't hate you"

" What do you want?" Ayaan asked giving him a questioning look

" What's up with you and Samah? It's surprising" Jess asked

"Nothing,if you may excuse me" Ayaan said standing up with his camera leaving Jess on his own. Jess chuckled shaking his head

"Breeze is fucked!" He said before walking away

"The sporting activities will be starting soon,you have to belong to a house and a game too"Junia said while walking with Samah to the cafeteria. It's lunch time

"Hmm,so who do I have to report to?" Samah asked

"Jess of course. He's the game prefect boy" Junia replied thesame time they entered the cafeteria. They met the boys already sitting down but Eden wasn't there

"Bambi!" Breeze called and Samah gave him a questioning look "yes you" Breeze added and Samah chuckled sitting beside him

"What's it for lunch?" Junia asked

"I'm craving chicken pie for some times now" Samah said. She wasn't craving for chicken pie,she haven't ate it before and saw it on Instagram and decided to try it out,she didn't want to let them know she haven't tasted it before too

"I might likely have that too" Junia replied before looking at the boys "what do you care to have?"

"Chicken pie" Breeze said looking at Samah who chuckled shaking her head

"Same but two" Jess replied thesame time Eden joined them

"Two? What do you need the other for?" Junia asked

"I know" Jess replied and Junia shakes her head looking at Eden

"What do you care to have?" Junia asked

"Whatever you guys are taking" Eden replied

"Okay! It's chicken pie then!"Junia said and head off to get their lunch

" Jess baby!"they suddenly heard Jane's voice who walks up to Jess and kiss his cheek

"Hey! What's up?!" Jess replied with a smile. Eden look between them and focus her gaze on her hand as if it's the most interesting thing in the world

"You don't mind if I join you?" Jane asked

"Not at all"Jess said and Jane sat down on his legs,Eden felt her heart breaking into pieces and tried as much as possible not to reveal how she feels. Junia suddenly brought their lunch and was surprised to see Jane in their table and to top it up sitting on Jess laps

"Why is she on our table?" Junia asked dropping the lunch on the table

" She's my girlfriend,she will be joining us from today onwards" Jess said and Eden look up to see him,her eyes fell on Jane who gave her a sly smirk

"Oh! Welcome to the table Jane" Junia said and sat down sharing the chicken pie between themselves. They ate quietly when Junia suddenly broke the silence at the end of the lunch

"I think Samah have something to discuss with you about sport activities"Junia said and Samah raise her head up

" Yes,I almost forgot"Samah replied

"Okay,we should go out. I need to talk to you anyways"Jess said and asked Jane to stand up so that he can stand up. Samah followed him out of the cafeteria

"I don't know which house to join but I want to be on the basket ball team"Samah said and Jess nodded

" You can only choose a team not a house but don't worry I will let you know which house you belong to before the week runs out and also I will add you to the basket ball team"Jess replied

" Okay! Thank you. I should probably head back"Samah said trying to turn when Jess's next word stopped her

"Do you like Breeze?" Jess asked

"Of course he's my friend" Samah replied as if it's the most obvious thing on Earth

"Stop playing dumb Samah! You know what I mean, do you like him like a man to a woman?!"Jess asked

" I haven't thought of that"Samah replied not sure of what to say

" If you're not sure then stop!" Jess said squeezing his eyes shut

" You're confusing me!"Samah said looking confused

" Stop giving him the green lights,stop giving him reasons to fall in love with you"Jess said

" What!"Samah replied

" You both are my friends and I wouldn't want any of you to get hurt but please if you don't like him that way just stop whatever you're doing"Jess said looking at Samah but she looks confused " you might not understand now but when you reach your room think about it"Jess said before walking away leaving Samah in a confused state
