Edwin Tenzinga is a 14 year old boy with a love of anything out of the ordinary. Aliens, dragons, killer robots, you name it. While his parents get settled into their new house, Edwin lives with his aunt, uncle, and cousin to finish the school year. Edwin is a member of the school's robotics team.

Once Mei finds out about her family's curse, she turns to her family and friends, including Edwin, for guidance.
