Blue Pov

I’ve been here for a few days now and everyone seemed to have warmed up to me. I have my own room, which happens to be across from Lance. We haven’t really done any fighting, just some hacking and junk. I’m currently making my way to the training room. I modified the taser gun and want to check if it works now. I walk into the training room to see Keith and Lance fighting with each other. I sigh and place my stuff down by the door. All it was my tool box and a water bottle. “Ladies, if you’re not going to train get out”. They both stop and look over at me. “When did you get in here?”. Lance asked still trying to get Keith in a headlock. “Just right now. I need to test something”. I pull my hair into a ponytail and take my jacket off.

I pull the gun out from my back pocket and check if everything is in place. “What are you wearing?”. I look at Lance to see his cheeks dusted with a blush. “A sports bra and shorts. Calm your hormones”. He blushes and looks away. “Seriously if you guys don't move, I’ll shoot you”. They both move away and I start the training. A robot comes out instantly starts attacking. It swings at me and i duck under its arm. I kick its side and it stumbles to the side. I take this chance and shot. The taser gun sends out electric shocks. The robot wiggles around before falling to the floor. “20 seconds...I’m getting rusty, at least this works”. And if the world didn’t hate me enough, the gun started going haywire. It shock me a couple of times, tho not that it would kill me, before I turned it off.

“Are you kidding me right now?”. I angrily sigh and walk over to my toolbox. “Wow , that was so…COOL!”. Lance starts doing this goofy little dance that makes my smile. “Dork”. He blushes and stops. “Yeah, that was impressive”. Keith gives me a smug look. “It would have been better if this little shit didn’t break”. I open my toolbox and take out a screwdriver. I unscrew the screws and begin investigating. I hadn’t noticed but I started mumbling. “The wires are fine so what's the issue? Maybe battery is bad. No that’s not it”. Lance and Keith take a seat and watch me. “Maybe I could just check”. I remove the wires that were connected to the battery. “What’s this?”. Under the battery was a brown mark, as if something burned. “You gotta be kidding me right now”. I groan and pinch the bridge of my nose. “What’s wrong?”. Lance asks, looking at the spot.”The battery must have overheated and blew out one of the circuits”. I take the battery out and check for any other problems.

“The fire switch seems fine. The working and default gaps are perfect. Transistor is fine.” I noticed a problem with the internal spark gap. It’s broken. “I see, so the spark gap broke which caused the battery to overheat and the gun to backfire”. Keith and Lance stare at me in awe. “You’re like some genius”. I laugh at Lance. “This is just some basic knowledge. Maybe I’ll teach you”. His face brightens up and I can’t help the urge to smile. “Really? You would teach me”. I let out a goofy smile. “Course you dork”. He smiles back. “Okay, I’m going to leave before you two stare sending invisible hearts to each other”. Keith gets up walks out.

I roll my eyes and continue to look through my tool box. “Where did I put the extra battery? I know I had one in here, or maybe not. No I’m sure I did.”. I mumble to myself. “You mumble to yourself a lot”. I blush and look at Lance. “Its an old habit of mine”. I scratch the back of my head. “Sorry if it bothers you”. Lance chuckles. “Nah, Its fine. It's just cute”. I blush and punch his shoulder. “Ow, why’d you do that?”. I huff. “Don’t say things like that”.

I’m currently sitting in my room replacing the battery to my taser gun. I found it under my pillow. Why was it there? I have no damn clue. I make sure everything is in there right place and nothing is broken. After I’m a 100% sure, I put the gun back together. “Finally”. I smile to myself and place the gun on the bed. *Knock, Knock*. I look at the door. “Come in”. In comes Allura. “How are you doing?”. I smile at her. “fine, I just fixed my taser gun”. She nods and sits next to me. “It’s nice to have another girl on the ship with us”. I giggle. “I bet, though I would understand”. Allura makes a confused face. “Oh, It's because I grew up with all boys. I mean there was my mom, but we never considered each other “close”. And me being the middle child didn't help”. I laugh. “I have 3 younger brothers and 3 older brothers”. Allura pats my back. “You deserve a praise for that. I can’t deal with 5 boys”. We both laugh. “Thank you Allura”. She looks at me. “For what?”. I smile. “For finding me. I really thought I was going to die all alone one that ship. That was the only thing I could think of. I thought that I was never going to see my brothers again. I thought there was no hope for me. And if you didn’t answer my call, I wouldn't be here today”. Allura pulls me into a hug. “I’m glad you feel that way”. I hug her back.

And at that moment, the dang Alarm just had to go off and ruin our bonding moment. Allura quickly lets go and stands up. “Hurry lets get going”. I nod and grab my taser gun and follow out of the room. We run to the control room. “Princess, A enemy ship as been spotted and they’re coming straight for us”. Allura runs up to the controls. “Palidins, Suit up and get to your lions quickly”. She says into the speaker? “Allura what can I do?”. I ask. “Do you have a gun for shooting long distances?”. I nod. “I have a few”. She nods. “Go get them and take a fighter ship”. I nod and get ready to leave. “Blue”. I turn and look at Allura. “I have a suit for you, be safe”. I smile and nod. I run to the changing room and star in awe at the suit. The suit itself was just like everyone else's, but the colors were well amazing. It was a bright blue and neon purple. I have a little fan girl moment before mentally slapping myself. Snap out of it Blue, people need me. I quickly change and run to my room. I grab my snipper and an extra zoom lens.
