After a while, they left the place and went back to their Airbnb homestay, heading straight to bed, but Ashima couldn't sleep.

Ashima: It's just been like few hours and so much is going on already, innum ennalam plan panirka abby

Ashwin: (smiles), terinjita there's no surprise to it

Ashima: so, you planned the getaway and everything correct'a, apdi dhana?

Ashwin: apdiyum sollalam, getaway mind la illa but you suggested it and I just went along

Ashima: this will always remain a memorable one

Ashwin: love you abby and I don't want you to think all this is happening because it's your bday...I wanted to do it anyways, things were rough between us for the past month, adha seri pananumnu thonuchu, plus un bday andha time la vandha naala it all fell in place

Ashima: I know..love you abby

Ashima moved towards Ashwin, rested her head on his chest and began to doze off. Soon, Ashwin slept as well.

The next morning, as expected none was awake for sunrise, in fact, Ashwin was up earlier than Ashima, and he woke her up.

Ashwin: nee dhan sunrise pakra aala? Ennamo pesuna nethu

Ashima: pathutane

Ashwin: pathutiya? Idhu eppo? Na dhana wake up pannen first

Ashima: I meant the surprise that you pulled off yesterday

Ashwin: ohh adhana pathenn

Ashima: nee dhan ippo seri illa morning ae, go go, go and get ready

Ashwin: ermm noo...we'll have a late start for the day

Ashima: adhelam onnum vena, naane poren

As Ashima moved away, Ashwin pulled her close to him, kissed her and said, "Happy birthday abby".

Ashima: idhuvum surprise a?

Ashwin: illaye, I was fine..you started it off with your cheesy lines

Ashima: right right, that's enough, now let me go

Ashwin: I'm not holding you

Ashima then realized his hands were behind him. She looked away with a coy smile and moved away.

Ashwin: Looks like someone didn't want me to let go

Ashima: nee pesradhu edhume kekala abby (said it while hitting her head, walking towards washroom)

They spent their day going around the countryside, celebrating Ashima's birthday with the nature. They came back to their home as well on that night and just before ending the day, at 11:59pm, Ashwin gifted Ashima a gift box. The box was filled with little things that Ashima likes (watch, perfume, novel, coffee mug, make up kit, dress).

Ashima: abby...idhelam eppo panna?

Ashwin: adhelam kekakoodadhu, do you like it?

Ashima: panama iruka mudiyuma? All the tiny tiny details in this and your efforts for it..speechless yet again

Ashwin: love you abby, hope you enjoyed your day as much as I did

Ashima: edhume pesa mudiyadha alavuku panita nee, love you so much, just stay the same always, with me

Ashwin kissed her hair and said, "there's nowhere else I could go to, it will always be you abby".

And 2 years passed by in their lives. Just like every other couple, they had their ups and downs, but never gave up on each other. They fought through it and resolved all their misunderstandings, proving themselves that the love they have for each will always win over their fights.

Today is their wedding anniversary, it's a working day, both are at work, they had no big plans, just going to be another normal day.

After work, Ashwin went to get a toe ring as a gift for their wedding anniversary. It was something that Ashima's been asking for some months but each time they go out, somehow, it slipped their minds. Ashwin made a reminder about it and wanted to present it to her on this memorable day.

He got back home and saw Ashima at home.

Ashwin: back home early?

Ashima: ya

Ashwin: late aagumnu sonna? Is everything ok?

Ashima: last minute la client couldn't make it

Ashwin: ohhh okay. Client ku terinjiruchu pola, iniki mukiyamana naal, adhunala namba avungala disturb panna venamnu

Ashima: unnala mattum dhan abby ipdilam yosika mudiyum

Ashwin: hehe, anyways, I've got something for you

Ashwin then went towards and told her to close her eyes.

Ashwin: no cheating okayyyy

Ashima: epdiyum I'll know, edhuku ipdi

Ashwin: sshh, solradha mattum pannu abby, romba lam kekadha

Ashima: fine fine

Ashwin then took out the toe ring and put it for her. He was about to take her hands off from her eyes, Ashima held his hands and placed it on her stomach. Ashima then opened her eyes to see how Ashwin is reacting. He was clueless for a moment, he looked at Ashima who's smiling widely and nodding her head saying yes. She gifted him with a beautiful painting as well along with the announcement, a painting about them "The Boundless Bond". He looked at her in disbelief.

Ashwin: when?

Ashima: just few hours ago

Ashwin: how?

Ashima: missed periods and been feeling nauseous. Perusa kandukala but started vomiting today at work, adhan I cancelled my appointment with client, got back home and took a test. She then took her phone and showed him the picture she took of the test kit. Ashima then said "yes abby, I'm pregnant". Ashwin then replied, "We're pregnant, abby". An unexpected but an unforgettable anniversary gift for the both of them. The next day, they went to their regular doctor for a checkup. Both of them were so excited, happy and what not after getting the second reassurance.

The abby's little world is getting bigger beautifully by two feet.
