Letting go of what I thought was real

-Ashima reached her hostel and rushed to her room. Kayal and Sandhya (Ashima's besties) saw Ashima running into her room and told each that something's wrong, they went to see what's wrong.

Kayal : Ashi? You okay? (Tapped Ashima's back)

Ashima : (cried out badly to Kayal while hugging her)

Sandhya : Enna ashi aachu unaku?

Kayal : (hugged Ashima) what's wrong?

Ashima : everything's gone..

Sandhya : what do u mean? What's gone now?

Ashima : Ashwin..

Kayal : what happened? What did he say?

Ashima : not him. His dad, he dislikes seeing Ashwin and me being together, he just hates it completely

Sandhya : what even? It's your life, why is he so bothered about it? Avaruku pudikilana neenga enna pandradham?

Kayal : Ayyo Sandhya yen nee vera..

-Sandhya is a very straight forward person and if she's sure about something she wouldn't have any second thoughts on letting them know what she feels-

Sandhya : I'm just saying what I feel

Ashima : all the dreams, everything's gone guys

-Kayal and Sandhya tried their best consoling Ashima. Kayal told Ashima to talk with Ashwin thinking that would help her out. Kayal and Sandhya went for their classes after asking Ashima to rest a while-

After thinking for a long time, Ashima decided to call up Ashwin.

Ashwin : Hellloooooo!

Ashima : Abby..

*Abby is a term that Ashwin & Ashima use to call each other, sort of like a love nickname*

Ashwin : yesss? Why you sound dull?

Ashima : I met your dad just now

Ashwin : which is your dad in law? Oops I mean your favorite uncle?

Ashima : ok bye

Ashwin : hey chill chill. What happened now?

Ashima : He told me he doesn't like seeing us being together and he's concerned a lot about your future. So you know, why we should disappoint him?

Ashwin : so, what do u mean?

Ashima : nothing, I'm just telling you.

Ashwin : I'll talk to him.

Ashima : abby, no please don't. What are you doing? Stop being a fool.

Ashwin : hello? How can he question about my happiness and now you want me to keep quiet for it?

Ashima : please, don't do anything. I think the best way is for us to look after our life rather than thinking about enjoying at this age? Like, is it really needed? Why are we even like this?

Ashwin : abby, seriously!? Have you gone mad?

Ashima : I'm just telling the truth..it makes sense right?

Ashwin : not at all. I can't be like you, on giving up your happiness for someone who's wanting to steal it. I would fight for my happiness, be it my dad or whoever it is.

-Ashima tried explaining to Ashwin but Ashwin didn't seem like listening to Ashima. She ended the call, and she was having a terrible headache. She kept on crying and thinking of all the things that's been happening to her. Ashima just felt like sleeping off so that she can quit worrying of all the issues. Ashima ended up drinking 3 bottles of cough syrup to make her asleep.
