Ashwin & Ashima went for a long drive. They hardly spoke during the drive, only songs played. Ashima's hands was on Ashwin's lap, something that Ashwin does whenever she gets into the car.

Ashwin: abby?

Ashima: yesss

Ashwin: why so silent?

Ashima: songs playing la, listening to them

Ashwin: adhukunu? It feels like we are going through a breakup madhiri with this much of silence

Ashima: adhuve better

Ashwin: adipaavi

Ashima: (smiled), everything feels empty, adha I don't have anything to say

Ashwin: hmmm, okay, we can't do much about it. This is the reality; we have to just accept and go through it. Idhaye evlo dhadava dhan pesuradhu? It only makes us more sad

Ashima: okay okay, leave it

Ashwin: happpadaa

Ashwin dropped back Ashima to her home after an hour and went back to his home.

The next day, Ashima is flying back to France. Ashwin told her that he's going to drop her at airport. Their family understood what the both of them must be going through, so they decided not to follow along.

They reached airport earlier just so that they can get all the checking in process done quickly and spend some time together. After checking in and getting her boarding pass, Ashima looked at Ashwin.

Ashima: how I wish if this boarding pass is like the clues, you did the other day

Ashima: I'm up for anything that makes me stay longer here with you

Ashwin: abby, why are you feeling so low? We are going to be fine, over a worry panikadha

Ashima: (smiled with sadness)

They went to Book Café since they had little more time. Ashima started to tear up, she tried hard controlling her emotions but as the time is nearing, she couldn't control it anymore.

Ashwin side hugged and caressed her hair, trying his best to make her feel alright.

Ashwin: shall we ask for the boundless bond book abby?

Ashima: yes yes kelu, at least then I'll know I won't be flying back today. You'll be proposing and I'll have 2 more days to spend with you

Ashwin: abbyyy, come on, you're stronger than you think. Aren't you?

Ashima: enake therila. I'm trying hard to be strong but each time I think of it, azhuga dhan varudhu

Ashwin: just few more months

Ashima: only that keeps me going for now, 'few more months'

Time passed and Ashima needs to get going. Ashwin knew Ashima is not going to make any move, he got up and brought her to departure hall. As Ashima saw everyone passing through the security gate, she started sobbing badly. Ashwin tried consoling her and make her feel strong, but nothing worked.

Ashwin: abby, look here

Ashima: (still crying), no, I don't want to do this

Ashwin: (made Ashima look at him)

Ashima: 😭😭😭

Ashwin: My abby is a strong girl, she can get through this. I'm just here, ok? Let's count the days and look forward for it instead of being said like this. It's not going to help us in any way. You'll have to go in now, ok?

Ashima: (nodded her head while crying)

Ashwin: stop crying abby, how can I let you go seeing you like this? You're making me to feel bad

Ashima: (wiped her tears and hugged Ashwin tightly) I'm going to miss you terribly!!!

Ashwin: I know abby, I'll miss you as well, konja naaliki dha

Ashima: okay abby, should I go now?

Ashwin: yes, you should, you ok right?

Ashima: not like I've got a choice

Ashwin held Ashima's face in his hand, looked at her eyes and said, "Love you abby, have a safe flight". Ashima hugged him for one last time, kissed his forehead, cheeks, lips and said her last goodbye before departing.

As Ashima entered the departure area, she looked back at Ashwin, waved bye and went on. Ashwin signalled her saying "no crying please". 

Ashwin then slowly walked away once Ashima went out of his sight. Tears rolled down his cheeks, there was an immediate rush of emptiness that he felt. He walked back to car as quick as he could, he just didn't want to break down. He knows Ashima is going to either text or call him soon, he will have to be strong for her.
