Day 2 in Bali:

As Ashwin slept off, Ashima slept too. The next morning, both woke up late feeling tired.

Ashwin: morning abby

Ashima: morning, did you sleep well?

Ashwin: oh yes! I slept like a baby

Ashima: (smiled), good good

Ashwin: why? Didn't you sleep well?

Ashima: no no, I had a good sleep too but still feeling exhausted

Ashwin: cos yesterday was such a long day abby, do you want to just chill out today?

Ashima: I don't mind sleeping all day long, that's how tired I am

Ashwin: just day 1 and you're like this (hits his head)

Ashima: thank you (with a wide smile)

Ashwin: where's my morning wish?

Ashima: I replied to you saying good morning?

Ashwin: that's not how it's supposed to be

Ashima: oh, then, like what? 🤨😏

Ashwin: you know it well

Ashima: ille, I don't

Ashwin: abbyyy, how can you!!! Just because it's been 8 years you can't be forgetting all that we have talked & agreed on

Ashima: nijama I can't recall

Ashwin: apdiyaaa

Ashima: yess yess

Ashwin went near Ashima, gave a long tight hug and said, "good morning abby!!"

Ashwin: do you recall it now?

Ashima: a little while more please, this feels warm

Ashwin: (smiled)

They decided to make some changes to their plan for today, they spent their day just around the resort and happened to meet Vinay, who came to the restaurant which Ashwin & Ashima were having lunch at.

Vinay: hey, what a pleasant surprise

Ashwin: (M/V: marupadiyum ivana, adeiii, ennala mudiyala da) Hi (with a smile), neenga epdi inga bro?

Ashima: (smiled at Vinay)

Vinay: Apparently this restaurant is well known for authentic dishes, that's why came here.

Ashwin: ohhhh ok bro, come join with us for lunch

Ashima: (looked at Ashwin thinking what's wrong with him)

Vinay: are you both sure? I don't want to invade your privacy

Ashwin: ille bro, public la privacy lam panna mudiyadhu

Vinay: sorry, what?

Ashwin: aiyo, joke'u bro, come join us, we are fine with it

Vinay looked at Ashima who was hesitant for him to join. But, since Ashwin was there, she just agreed and said "Have a seat, Vinay, we'll all have lunch together.

Vinay: so, bro, how long have y'all been together? Ashima never told any of us about her relationship, did y'all keep it low?

Ashwin: (almost spitted out as he was drinking water)

Ashima: (laughed silently)

Ashwin: adhu vandhu bro, long story. We've been together for about almost 10 years now

Vinay: 10 years a!? (in shock)

Ashwin: yessss, Ashi said right that we are cousins, hence why

Vinay: ohhhh, interesting!! But Ashima, why didn't you tell anyone of us?

Ashima: didn't feel it was necessary to say it. I don't like to publicize it either. I rather do it and keep it in private. It's my small, little happy world.

Vinay: fair enough

They had lunch and spent some time with Vinay till evening and then came back to their room.

Ashwin: what shall we do tonight abby? Night safari, rooftop dinner, or watch a movie on the beach?

Ashima: movie? Why movie?

Ashwin: it's quite popular you know

Ashima: let's go for rooftop dinner, but we'll have to do a reservation first right? I'm sure it will be occupied quickly, it's 5pm already

Ashwin: Adhelam you don't worry, rooftop pakka?

Ashima: yes, enna nee ennamo plan lam panitu vandhu en kita kekra maari iruku

Ashwin: (laughed)

Ashima: abbbyyyy, what have you done?

Ashwin: onnume illa, I laughed thinking how quickly you thought I would have planned something

Ashima: yea because you're capable of it

Ashwin: I'll take that as a compliment 😒
