You don't know what you do to me, my love 💕

It's been a week since Ashwin came back to India, although he tries to keep himself occupied, he keeps thinking of Ashima. He wants to get in touch with her somehow, because he feels this is the time, if he delays it now, then things might get worst. He asked Swetha's help for it.

Ashwin : Ka, I need your help.

Swetha : yes da?

Ashwin : Could you please..?

Swetha : what is it da?

Ashwin : Can I have Ashima's num ka?

Swetha : No Ashwin, no!

Ashwin : Ka please! I will not say anything to her, I'll just be normal.

Swetha : its ok, there's no need for it! Venaa da, patadhelam pathalaya unaku?

Ashwin : (sighed)

Swetha : Ok wait. I will give a call to her, you can just listen to her voice. Don't speak out anything. If you're okay with that then I will proceed if no then just forget about it ok?

Ashwin : (got excited) ok ka ok yayyyy! Pleaseeeeeeee!!!

-Swetha called Ashima and, Ashima saw her phone ringing but she was having lunch with her colleagues, so she quickly sent a message saying, "I'll call you later". After lunch, Ashima got to her workstation and called Swetha-

Swetha : Hey Ashima

Ashima : Hello ka! What's up? How are you? All okay?

Swetha : Everything's alright..

Ashima : thideernu call panirkinga?

Swetha : edhadhu irundha dhan call panna mudiyumo unaku?

Ashima : (smiles) apdila illeye. So how's everyone at home? Mama athai all good? and how is yourrrrrr life?

Swetha : I know what you're hinting at (laughed). Everyone's good darling! You free now? Can we switch it for a video, unna paathu evlo naal aagudhu!!

Ashwin didn't expect that from Swetha. He started jumping and acting like a crazy guy behind there. But he tried to hid himself, making sure Ashima doesn't see him.

Ashima : yeah ok ka just gimme 5 secs.

-Ashima then turned on the video mode-

Swetha : wowww, where are you up to?

Ashima : nowhere ka, work la dhan iruken, but can talk since it's still lunch hours.

As Ashima pushed her hair backwards, her watch caught Ashwin's eyes. It was Ashima's most favorite watch, which Ashwin gifted for her birthday. Ashima loves watches, Ashwin used to collect watches and gift it to Ashima. When Ashwin saw Ashima wearing that particular watch, a tiny drop of tears started rolling down his cheeks. He knew they were meant to be together but things are not falling into place.

Swetha and Ashima had a good talk for about half an hour, then Ashima had to end the call and get back to work.

Swetha : Happy now?

Ashwin : very much ka thank you! (Hugged Swetha tightly and kept saying thank you)

Swetha : its ok ashu, relax. She's yours, you know that right?

Ashwin : Well, I have no idea. She's got her own life now, not sure what she's up to.

Swetha : really, what do you think?

Ashwin : Guess the feelings are mutual, to me, doesn't look like she moved on. But of course, I can't be so sure on it.

Swetha : (giggled), oh ho, I see... Seri, go and have a good rest, don't think about anything else. (Swetha left the room).

Ashwin sat down thinking of Ashima but he wasn't able to do anything about it.

It's the weekend after work, Ashima took her annual leave and all set to go for a one-week vacation in Bali. Though India is on the way, she doesn't want to visit as she knew it's going to affect her, with all the memories. Unfortunately, the flight which Ashima was flying in, had to do an emergency landing in Dubai due to smokes being detected in the cabin crew. Ashima informed her family about it and her mum advised her to come back home, have a good rest and then go for her vacation. As what her mum had said, Ashima came back home first. She was happy meeting and spending time with her family after a long time.

Ashima informed Sandhya that she's back home for a short while, and they planned to meet up for lunch.
