MR. C VALENTINE
No one at the club except for Faith knew what the C stood for. Some of the ladies tried to quess what it was. Charlie, Carl, Clarence they teased him. They all flirted with the handsome new bouncer who had blue eyes and dark curly hair. Even when he was a young child his friends called him C. He didn't understand why his parents named him Cupid until he was much older and took over the family business. Cupid Valentine you couldn't get more obvious than that.
When Faith was really ticked off at him she would call him by his last name Valentine. So far so good at least she was still calling him C. But that girl Kristen who came into the club was giving him a headache. He just couldn't seem to find a match for her. Faith was after him to match her up. She had actually accused him of deliberately trying to keep Kristen from her one true love. After all, he was in the business of love he wouldn't knowingly do that. After all she was coming to the club for 3 months and still hadn't found the right one. She might just be the one who would knock down his 100% rating. She usually came into the club later in the night after work. For some unknown reason his instincts weren't working with her. He flashed his monitor around the room to find her a match but the highest match came up at only 75%. That would never do. The guy for her just wasn't at the club tonight. He breathed a sigh of relief.
That's when all hell broke loose. A young woman started screaming when her long hair got caught on the button of a suit coat on a young man passing by. He was desperately trying to untangle himself from her hair as she keep screaming. Another young woman screamed as she slipped on the wet dance floor. A young man ran to her rescue and was helping her up. Faith gave C the look of death and was about to call him over. "Oh! what's the use. He's like a two year old and wouldn't listen anyway. C mouthed to her "Not my fault" as he smiled and walked away.
