The rain rushes about the streets as a red Toyota parks itself aside a cool white Mercedes. The young man inside the vehicle steps out with a bright yellow umbrella above his head.

He begins making his way to the store across the parking lot. Probably just going to buy some groceries for his mother or such.

But wait, something wrong.

His clutching his forehead, seemingly in pain, he falls to his knees and casts aside the umbrella. An old couple sees and rushes to his side.

Then he stands abruptly and walks back to the Toyota stiffly while the couple tries to get his attention, apparently trying to ask if he's alright.

But he pays them no mind as he starts his car and drives off, without his umbrella.

This was the last time Zachary Anderson was caught on CCVTV before he disappeared for three days.

"Its happening more and more often." A police officer sits across his wife one night at dinner and stresses his concern."Young adults disappearing for three days-Always three days exactly- and returning with no recollection of what happened to them." He pops a forkful of beef into his mouth, "The missing person cases at work are sky rocketing." He said after swallowing.

"Thats awful." Said his wife because she was meant to,"What do you think happening to those poor kids?"

The officer shrugged in response and the topic turned to the latest episode of Days Of Our Lives.

"Don't forget your raincoat Ally." A mother called from the kitchen one lazy Saturday afternoon.

"Its not even raining yet Mom." Whined a voice from the doorway childishly.

The mother came out of the kitchen with a dishcloth and a rised brow,"Just because it hasn't yet dosen't mean its not going to. Didn't you watch the News this morning?"

"Who watches the news? You have a phone don't you?" Mumbled the girl as she pulled a yellow raincoat on.

"What was that ?" Asked the mother with that tone.

"Nothing Mom, see you later."

"I'm seventeen now, why can't she treat me like an adult? I can make my own decisions no problem." Ally muttered to herself as she walked through her wet neighborhood. It was a habit picked up from her father before his passing.

Her destination was a small deserted park that she hanged around every weekend. Sometimes with friends but most of the time alone. People had stopped coming to it years ago when a new one opened up just ahead of the hillside with a Mickey Mouse themed playground.

Ally didn't care for Mickey, thought he was rather creepy in fact, and enjoyed the quiet so she spend her free time on the swing reading peacefully among the weeds and flowery trees.

Imagine her surprise when saw another person swinging on her swing.

Imagine her shock when she realized it was Zachary Anderson. The boy who disappeared-and never really came back, not mentally at least.

"Your sitting on my swing." She commented as she walked up to him. Up close she realized he looked even more rough and haggard then he had when she glanced at him when she went shopping two days ago.

"Your name written on it?" Came the grumpy response.

She didn't answer but pointed to the underneath of the swing. He stood up and turned the swing over.

Allison Williams

"You actually wrote your name?" Disbelief and amusement.

"I knew this day might come." She pushed him aside and slipped on the seat.

Zachary scowled and made his way over to the second swing.

"I wrote my name on that one too."

"Oh come on!"

Ally rised her hands in surrender," I like to cover my all bases. But i give you permission to sit there, just this once." She said as leaned down and picked a shred of dark green grass between her fingers.

"Gee thanks."

"Your welcome, Bruce Wayne."

"Bruce Wayne?" She didn't have to look at his face to see the confusion.

"What you being all dark and brooding. If your trying to get girls that way its not working, you look constipated, dude." Ally was hoping her remarks would make him leave so she could read Mr Mercedes in peace.

To her surprise a laugh met her ears.

"Your the only person who treated me normal since-" the words died as the conversation did.

Ally enjoyed slience but from him it felt suffocating. "What happened to you?" Her lips moved and her voice said but her brain screamed 'Noooo'.

More silence as she shuffled uncomfortably on the swing.

"They took me Ally. Just like they're taking the others."

She knew the ominous statement should have caught her attention first. But the fact he knew her name took the wind from her.

Then she remembered her name on the swing and felt stupid.

"Uh, sorry but who? Aliens?" She meant it as a joke but his face turned paler, and flip the boy was already pretty white so this spooked her.

"No, not exactly. But I still get flashes, dreams, nightmares of what i did, what they made me do."

Ally was thinking it was high time she stood up and ran home but he continued talking and she felt stuck.

"It was brainwashing i think, the others and I figured that much," At Ally confusion he backed up," The other kids that disappeared. We have theory that our parents aren't our parents, that we somehow were switched at birth. We, these brainwashed children hanging around till they need us. They switch us on and we're helpless beings following orders."

Ally shook her head,"Thats not possible. Also that sounds alot like being employed." She cracked but he didn't laugh this time." Look, if this is true why are they only switching on you for only three days? and your all young adults? And a different person each time? Why not use only one? They don't think people would figure this out?" Ally began feeling odd, her head felt like it was spinning. A sharp pain just above her forehea-

"They blaming it on mental disorders and making our not-parents think we're all having some sort of mental breakdown. That its a trend and others are just following it." His fingers were white as they griped the swing."Look i don't have all the answers, just theories."He said deep in his thoughts. "The police questioned the hospitals we woke up in, but all the staff said we signed ourselves in, looking weak but normal. Our parents are informed and we wake up and everything normal..but its different, we're different now."

He sighed then looked up to see Ally was gone with the swing still swinging.

"There goes another one."

That night the police reserved another Missing Person Report from a concerned mother.

"Another one? You know she's just gonna turn up in the hospital three days later. " stated a cop to his partner with boredom in his tone.

"A lot can happen in three days time, Parker."
