A Bit Of The Old Forgotten: Drive

The car still smelt like her.
Matthew supposed with all the time they spent in it that the car now held her familiar sent of thick rain and flowery sweetness. It was a constant comfort to him on the long drive but at the same time, it was a reminder, a reminder of red hot sins.

His mother had called him crazy when he stated his idea of reclaiming her  love at they're weekly dinner." But honey," She started  with a look of stern steel on her face," A drive that long will drive you insane!"

She was half way right  with that comment. Still  she packed him a cooler box filled with food and sent him off with a wet kiss placed  on his cheek.

His father shook his head his son's  nonsense. But carefully handed over the keys to his Mercedes Benz with a slashing grin on his face," Its faster then the crap you drive." Matthew  smiled warmly.

"But if you smash it, consider yourself  an orphan."

Those  words burned in his mind as he drove. The roads turning, twisting and rounding, it hard not to get lost in view or the music  that was blasting from his radio. All the while  the plan ran through  his head. First  he would go to her dom, plead- No- Beg! for her forgiveness. Then afterwards when she said she loved him and she forgave him and that her heart only beat for him, he would propose with his grandmother golden rose ring she gave him on her death bed.

He left that part out when he was telling his parents.

He been driving for six hours straight. He haven't  stopped once, fearing if he did, he wouldn't make it in time. Her kisses stay fresh on his mind, the way her lips mounted his, the melted
together  in the burning heat of lust.

The car still  smelt like her.

And it drove him insane.

This was a bit weird.  I found it in an old email I sent to a Wattpad friend a while ago.

It was original IT Sits Here Waiting For You, another story I wrote. As you can see, it was supposed to be romantic but somehow became this insane horror story.

Anyways, thought I'd publish it before it got lost.
