He was a devil in a white cloth, and I was only a civilian trying to find my way. He came in, and pushed me forward. He lifted me up higher until I was able to sit next to the stars. He cleared away all the jumbles in my life, and I was left with a clean road.

Why did he do all that, only to drag me back to square one?

Lying in a bed of roses, was what I thought it was. But I realise, it was all an illusion painted by him and his lies. I was, and always will be, lost in thorns.
