In the beginning, there was Void. Then somewhere within that Void, The Heart emerged, and brought fourth the world. Within the cold, it brought warmth. Within the night, it brought day. And within death, it brought life. The Heart set in motion the rise of hundreds of natural species, but it decided that the ones who'll be in charge of protecting it should be directly linked with its own power. It created three beings who would later dubbed themselves "Oozai". The first one had white skin, and the ability to become light. The second had long, white flowing hair, and the ability to transform into a beast. And the final creation was the most powerful, due to having three eyes and was quite literally one with The Heart. Their names were Pincher, Lokaal, and Zai.

After them, several hundreds more Oozai were created and began the formation of their own nation, Oozai Kingdom. With the Heart's power, they were easily the most powerful nation in the Realm, making Giants look like ants by comparison. It didn't take long after for such power to be lusted after, and a 20 year long civil war broke out. That day brought fourth the negative energy produced by The Heart, causing a matter most dark, Zero, to appear. This great threat was enough to get the separated factions to form a temporary truce in order to defeat the greater evil, and afterwards they left the kingdom and made their own cultures.

A majority of the green Oozai left for the massive jungles so they could utilize their own strength rather than magic. The Insectoid Oozai were banished into the earth for committing the act of cannibalism during the war. Many drafted soldiers around this time later became illegal hitmen for a steady income, and finally, a twinge of doubt began to grow in Lokaal's heart.

In a way to decrease the negativity in Oozai culture, Zai declared that all noble families would no longer possess the same power and privileges as the Royal Family, and would be treated as normal citizens. This act is what sparked a long feud with the Gohma Family. The head of said family, Gohmez, attempted to kill Koozai, Zai's second child, as an act of revenge, but was caught and executed the following day.

Thousands of years later, long after Zai had passed and his eldest son, Zoozai, taking up the mantle of King, a mysterious woman appeared from an unknown land, and Zoozai became infatuated by her. They married and had a child together, but one day both the woman and child disappeared without a trace, and the king eventually died from the sheer amount of sorrow that weighed on his heart. That was the day Zoozai's other son, Zacharie, became the new king and spent every following day searching for his lost kin.
