So I wrote a walkthrough for writing a gameverse fanfiction, so now I will write a walkthrough for making a good cover! I did say I was going to cope with my IRL problems through helping you guys out, didn't I XD?

So, here are key concepts to making a good cover that you must follow:

• The pictures you use for it MUST be good quality.
• The picture blend, whether blending them with Gradient Blender or layering them with Picsart, MUST be well done.
• The cover design must look nice. Meaning the places you put the pictures, how you blended them, the overall cover scheme of the cover, any clip art you added onto it, etc.
• THE TEXT MUST BE READABLE!!!!!! If you can barely see the title because it blends in, you need to either change the font, font size, text color, or all three.

This is what I did to make Fly Away With Me's cover, step-by-step:

1) Spent about an hour scouring Google for good pictures to use. I only used 2 pictures for the cover overall. (As seen in box 1 of the picture attached to the chapter)

2) I erased the background on the glass slipper using Eraser Pro. (Box 2)

3) Using Picsart, I clicked "edit," selected my sparkly blue background and uploaded it, clicked "add photo," clicked on the now-erased-background glass slipper, then positioned it on the picture. (Box 3)

4) I took a screen shot of that and cropped it, then put it through my Reflection app to create the water-ripple second half of the cover. (Box 4)

5) I slapped my text on there using my computer for that part, since all my apps don't make the text very readable. (Box 5)

6) I saved that picture to my camera roll and ran it through my Fotor app, increasing brightness, contrast, and sharpness by a little bit. (Box 6)

And there you have it, my cover was done.
