Wow. Okay, so I'm on my way home now from the con, and I can honestly say it was a blast. I had no idea what to expect, but this was easily the most fun weekend I've ever had. My original plan was to post an update/summary at the end of each day like I usually do, but because I was actually staying at the con hotel this time, I didn't get to sleep until 2am each day and I would wake up at 7am promptly after, so that just didn't happen XDDDDD

Here we go!!

Thursday: Jumin Han

Lololololol I am such Mystic Messenger trash. I was ADORED as Jumin Han, let me just tell you. Rose was my MC, and my friend Jamie was my bad end MC.

I'm obviously Jumin, and Rose is the MC closest to 707^^^

Also, my friends are assholes and kept taking bad pictures of me and turning me into memes XDDD

My eyebrows and male contouring terrify me XDDDD

LOLOLOLOL Rose fell asleep in the car on the way. Poor bby was so dead tired, and I was a half-dressed Jumin and a troll.

Friday: Jumin Han & Hikaru Hitachiin

Kicked off the day with a Mystic Messenger Photoshoot before the Ouran High School Host Club panel we were in later that day. Here are some of the highlights.

RIP Jaehee XD the Elizabeth the 3rd is actually my sister, fun fact of the day.

Was easily the funniest bullshit I've ever done.

FRIDAY WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE BECAUSE OF THE OURAN PANEL OMG!!!!

So;;; this was my first time being cast in a panel. I was so very excited for it, and Rose and I were super gay towards each other for the crowd and stayed in character the whole time. Some of the highlights:

The grand prizes.

So, we had a trivia session at the end to see if the audience was paying attention, and whoever answered our questions correctly won the grand prize designed by each panelist that was specific to our characters.

Well. Rose and I were the twins.

So obviously we were trolls with our grand prizes.

Rose: Haruhi's pink ruffle bikini

Serena: Large, mountable print of a photoshopped, naked Haruhi taken straight from the anime.

Lolololol the audience went wild for our prizes. Our friends on the panel with us also died because they didn't think we'd actually go through with those as our grand prizes.

Well, of COURSE we did. We said we would XDDDD

And to top it off, since we were the twins, we planned a little unexpected scheme for the beginning of the panel that everyone on the panel was in on EXCEPT FOR our Tamaki who was the one actually running it XDDDDD his genuine reaction was priceless.

So, our Haruhi, my friend Jamie who was also my bad end MC, was "late to the panel."

So, after Tamaki introduces the audience to the panel, he notices Haruhi isn't there and asks "where is Haruhi...?"

Omg. The audience all died when Rose and I intstantly leaned forwards and said "actually, boss, about that..."

Two seconds later, I texted Jamie the cue to walk in, and she came in through the panel doors.

Wearing the pink ruffle bikini.

THE AUDIENCE DIED. Tamaki was FLOORED and was blushing like a madman while also stuttering insanely and demanding that she go change.

So Haruhi walks up to us twins and is like 3000% done with our shit when she asks "can I change now?"

And I said "not quite" and laugh as I see that she's got her Ouran jacket over top the bikini. So I said "Haruhi, take off the jacket!!"

Lol, Haruhi was like "no."

And then I immediately turn to the audience and shout "BOO UNTIL SHE LOSES THE JACKET!"

Oh, they instantly listened and booed. They also started chanting "strip!" over and over again, and Haruhi eventually ditched the jacket and earned a huge round of applause and cheers.

Tamaki nearly died and had to sit down XDDDDD

Later that day, our Tamaki hugged both Rose and myself and thanked us so much because we were apparently the BEST set of twins he's ever had for a panel, and he's hosted a LOT of panels.

Anyways, back to the panel highlights.

Audience: "Twins, propose to each other!!"

OH BABY I HAD THIS DARE DOWN WITH ALL THE TIMES I HAVE PROPOSED TO ROSE ALREADY

So I step up immediately as soon as the dare left that girl's lips, and I walked to the center of the room and "shook out my nerves" as I prepared to propose to Rose in front of 100 people.

Including my parents, who were watching the panel XDDDDD

So I had about two seconds to decide: do I do a serious proposal, or do I make them laugh?

Come on. You guys know by now which one I chose.

So I dramatically power-slide onto one knee in front of Rose, who's now standing in front of me, and I take her hand in mine and say, "Kaoru, you know that you're the love of my life, so, I'd like to ask...."

I hesitated for two seconds as the audience was on the edge of their seats from fangirling, and then they all cracked up and screamed.

But that's probably because I did this.

"KAORU, WILL YOU DAB WITH ME???

Rose had no idea what I was going to do, but she and I immediately stand next to each other and dab in sync as we shout "UNTIL DAB DO US PART!!!"

The audience was CRYING laughing, and our panel members were trying so hard not to break character and laugh because they also had no idea what we were going to do.

The panel consisted of so many ridiculous dares and questions like this, and we all had so much fun. We were roasting the hell out of Tamaki every chance we got, and apparently our entire auidence's favorites were the Hitachiin twins, so we got like 70% of the dares and questions asked, and we quite literally stole the show.

Especially when MY MOTHER shouts from the back and dares us to drop it like it's hot.

She KNOWS neither Rose or myself can dance, let alone twerk and/or drop it like it's hot.

So obviously we got up and walked to the center of the room and "shook out our nerves" together to stall for a bit, and then the audience ROARED and died laughing once more.

But that's because I unexpectedly picked up Rose bridal-style and quite literally dropped her on the floor.

Yeah, our other panelists had no idea what we were going to do or how we would react to anything our audience dared us to do, but we KILLED IT EVERY TIME NO MATTER WHAT WE DID.

It was so much fun. The panel video (or videos, depending on whether the videographer divides it into parts or not) will be posted on the YouTube channel Soulsong Cosplay sometime soon. I'll post another update in here with links to the video(s) the SECOND they're posted so you guys can watch two of your favorite authors make complete asses of themselves for entertainment purposes!!!

After the panel, Rose and I skipped around the con hand-in-hand (yes, skipped) handing out roses to everyone and flirting with them, as well as jump-scaring random cosplayers we didn't know with candy and roses and hilariously gay comments. It was so much fun, and we made so many people's days just by doing this.

We were killing it as the twins. I'm really going to miss having Rose as my twin, since this was our last con together for a while, now that we're both going off to college this year. (Me in four days, Rose in the fall)

Saturday: Cinder Fall & Hikaru Hitachiin

So I did Cinder again for the RWBY Photoshoot in the morning before immediately changing back to Hikaru. Rose was wearing her Fem! Adam Taurus cosplay for the first time and didn't want to change back to Kaoru, which was totally fine, so my friend Jamie, aka the panel's Haruhi and my bad end MC, stepped up and took over as my twin. There's a very good chance Jamie and I will be signing on with Jason, our Tamaki, to be his twins from now on for his Ouran High School Host Club panels.

But anyways, let's look at some of yesterday's pictures.

Lol um, so Jamie and I as the twins met Vic Mignogna, Tamaki's English voice actor, and he LOVED us!! We made him laugh so hard because we approached him with a bouquet of roses and a basket of dum dums and in perfect sync said "Hey boss, would you like a dum dum from the two dum dums?"

HE LAUGHED AND GOT REALLY EXCITED OVER GETTING A ROOTBEER FLAVORED ONE!

He was laughing and said "I love you two doppelgangers!!!" And then he looked right at me and said "and you're Hikaru, right?"

When I was stunned and said yes because he guessed correctly, he let out a loud, short victory snort laugh and slammed his hand on the table in triumph before shouting "HAH! I ALWAYS GUESS IT RIGHT!"

Vic was wonderful XDDDDDD coolest guy ever.

We also bought Jason, our panel's Tamaki, a giant version of the unicorn plush from Despicable Me as a thank you gift, and this boy cried and wailed when he saw it and tackled it to the floor XDDDD

Jason is the most precious transgender boy you'll ever meet. Oh my god, he's great. I love him so much XDDDD he was so happy about that unicorn and was cuddling it so tight. Cutest thing we saw all day.

And then we continued Jason's tradition of after-panel-celebrations and all went out to dinner together.

At Hooters.

Yes, at HOOTERS XDDDDD

The waitresses were gorgeous, the food was fantastic, and the service was great. It was a blast.

Oh yeah, we were a big group of 15 cosplayers in full cosplay at Hooters XDDDDD

We also got a picture with the lovely waitresses as well after giving them roses.

Sunday: Vaporeon battle armor gijinka

HOLY WOW MOTHER OF I DONT EVEN KNOW

So my Vaporeon cosplay turned out to be GORGEOUS after 6 brutal months of blood, sweat, and tears.

Just kidding, 6 months of brutal hard work XDDDDD

I hadn't tried the full thing on before with all the finished pieces because I literally finished the full thing the day before we left for the con.

But it turned out gorgeous.

Except when I make faces like that with a french fry in my mouth XDDDDDD

Today was the shortest day, and we mostly just walked around the con and spent time with our friends before we all had to leave. Post con-depression has now hit, I'm exhausted, I miss my friends, and I start college in four days XD time to catch up on sleep and kick off this new year with a bang!

I'm not sure how busy I'll be with college now, but now that Ichibancon is over, I'm gonna start working on my stories again.
