When Noctis realized Ardyn had tricked him in to shoving Prompto off the train, he'd been horrified. He was in hysterics. Ignis, Gladiolus and Alice all tried to soothe the prince, but Noctis was sobbing. He held tight to Ignis, bawling his eyes out.

When the three had gotten Noctis to calm down, Noctis got a worried phone call from Prompto's mother, Dawn, saying she'd called Prompto but his phone sent her straight to voice mail like it had died or if he was in a no service area.

After explaining the situation to Dawn, Dawn said she'd check on him if Noctis calmed.

Then, when they reached their destination, Noctis's heart stopped at the sight.

"PROMPTO!" His screamed and ran forward, wanting his love back in his arms. Noctis hugged Prompto upon seeing the true damage done to him.

"Oh... oh gods... oh Prompto." Noctis cried.

"N-Noct..." Prompto said weakly, his eyes opening slightly.

"Just... just hold on." Noctis cried, he released the bindings on Prompto's wrists and caught him before he could hit the ground. Noctis knelt and held Prompto to his chest.

"Oh, Prompto." Noctis cried.

"Tell me... were you worried about me?" Prompto asked. Noctis held Prompto tight.

"Of course I was... what kind of question is that?.. I was so scared..." Noctis whispered to Prompto.

"I knew it... you came for me, just like I knew you would... that's why I couldn't let myself die, so you could tell me I wasn't a fake... that I'm the real me... that's why I waited for you to save me..." Prompto said weakly, eyes starting to drift shut. Noctis panicked.

"ALICE! ALICE, HE'S HURT!" Noctis screamed. Alice put Ignis's hand in Gladiolus's and ran to their side.

"He's lost a lot of blood." Alice said. She reached in to her bag and pulled out a Hi-elixer. Pressing the bottle to Prompto's lips, she raised his head so he could drink it. Prompto gasped after it was gone.

Noctis helped him sit up. Prompto held on to Alice and Noctis as the Hi-elixir did its job and healed him. Noctis hugged Prompto tightly, repeatedly whispering apologies in to his ears. Prompto held on to Noctis. Alice stood and took Ignis's hand again.

The group moved on, Noctis holding Prompto's hand tightly. They reached a door they couldn't open. Prompto raised his wrist to the scanner and the door opened.

"So... you know how Magiteks have that codeprint on their wrist?" Prompto asked.

"Do they? I never looked." Noctis said.

"I... I have one, too.. I'm one of them. I can't change where I was born. What I am." Prompto said, staring at the ground, unable to look at them. Alice stepped forward and looked at Prompto.

"So?" She asked. Prompto stared at her.

"When has where you're born ever mattered to you?" Gladiolus asked.

"You've never treated me like a prince in the time we've known each other." Noctis said.

"Not so much as a "highness" from you." Ignis said.

"As far as I see it, you're one of us, Prompto." Alice said with a smile and headed towards the room that was now open.

"I don't see you betraying us any time soon." Ignis said with a gentle smile. Gladiolus started leading him after Alice.

"You are one of us, right?" Gladiolus asked, giving Prompto a friendly punch on the shoulder.

"Unless you'd rather not be?" Ignis asked and let Gladiolus lead him in to the room. Alice cast a look at Noctis and flicked her eyes and gestured with her head to Prompto.

"I'll keep them busy. You do what you've wanted to since we found him." She whispered. Noctis was surprised. Alice knew of the relationship between him and Prompto?!

Alice winked and followed the blind man and the muscle man. Noctis turned to Prompto, who looked ready to cry. Noctis strode up to him and slammed his lips against Prompto's, kissing him deeply. Prompto moaned against his lips.

Noctis slowly walked Prompto back against the wall, never once breaking the kiss. Noctis licked Prompto's lip, asking permission which Prompto willingly gave. Noctis's tongue invaded Prompto's mouth. Prompto pressed one hand against Noctis's chest and the other grabbed his hair. Noctis's hands were on Prompto's hip and thigh.

Finally, the two parted for air, a string of saliva connecting their lips.

"N-Noct... everyone is just in the other room..." Prompto panted.

"Alice is keeping them distracted for us. I guess her eyes really have been sharper than Ignis's this whole time. It's not enough time for what I'd like to do, but just enough for what needs to be done." He said. Prompto stared at Noctis for a long time.

"I love you, Prompto. As you are. Nothing with ever change that." Noctis said. Prompto's eyes filled with tears and they spilled over. Noctis kissed them away gently.

"Shhh, don't cry." He whispered.

"I-I love y-you, Noct." Prompto cried softly. Noctis continued to kiss away his tears until his lips found Prompto's again and pulled the blonde in to another heated kiss.

Noctis broke away and pressed kisses to Prompto's neck.

"N-Noct... n-not here..." Prompto whimpered.

"We can't here. But I can mark you as mine." Noctis whispered against his neck. Prompto moaned softly as Noctis continued to search for his sweet spot. Prompto gasped and held tighter to Noctis when the spot was found. Noctis quickly pecked a kiss to Prompto's cheek and then attacked the spot on his neck.

Noctis sucked roughly on Prompto's neck, forcing the blonde to cover his mouth to suppress his loud moan of pleasure. Noctis broke away from his neck with a soft pop when he felt he had left a dark enough mark.

"Mine." Noctis whispered and kissed Prompto sweetly. Prompto held on to the love of his life as they kissed. When they parted, Prompto's head fell to Noctis's shoulder. Noctis held Prompto in a tight hug.

"Yo, are you guys coming?" Gladiolus asked, peeking around the corner and seeing the two hugging.

"Yeah, on our way." Noctis said. Prompto pulled away from Noctis and they started walking towards the room with the other guys and Alice.

Time skip: 10 years

Noctis and Prompto stood in the hole in the wall of the citadel, watching as the sun rose.

"I don't believe it..." Prompto breathed.

"Believe it, babe. The Crystal, The Ring of Lucii... they're both gone and here is our sunrise." Noctis said, wrapping his arm around Prompto's waist.

"But, your magic... the power of kings is also gone." Prompto said. Noctis shrugged.

"Why does that matter? The daemons are gone. Starscourge eliminated. There's no need to keep a magic wall up anymore. No need for boarders. We all can come together as one nation." Noctis said. Prompto rested his head on Noctis's shoulder.

"It's so beautiful." He said. The two heard a shout of joy and looked down to see Alice and Ignis hugging tightly.

"Look at that. The gods gave Ignis his sight back." Noctis said as Ignis looked up at them and gave a small wave which the two returned. Prompto looked back up at Noctis.

"I love you, Noctis." Prompto said. Noctis smiled at Prompto and pecked his lips with a sweet kiss.

"I love you, Prompto." Noctis said. The two stood and watched the sunrise over the world again.

"Prompto?" Noctis asked softly.

"Yes?" Prompto asked.

"Marry me." Noctis said.

"Yes." Prompto said and kissed Noctis with full passion on the lips, throwing his arms around his shoulders.

Their story was over, but their lives together were about to begin.
