This is what we usually wear
When the skies aren't all clear;

Ah yes, it's the magnificent jacket
With big fluffy sleeves and pockets
I'd say mine is like a locket;
I never take it off... like my tv sockets

Why do I never take my tv sockets out?
It's because I wait for the news to come about.
I wait for the news to alert me
If suspension of classes are announced nicely

Suspensions happen a lot here in Immaculate
Sometimes, it's a mistake or maybe it's fate
That we have to stay in our homes and wait,
Wondering why the forecast isn't accurate.

Walking in a jacket with the sun out is alright.
For me at least, maybe not in your sight.
Others find it quite ridiculous,
But I do it because I feel concious.

Sure, we use jackets to stay warm and comfy,
But for me, it's a way of covering my body.
I'm pretty self concious and insecure;
I'm also fucking ugly, that's for sure.

So if you see a dude with a jacket out in the sun,
Don't tease or use them as a material for fun.
You may have no idea what they're going through,
So believe me when i say this is all true.

So that's what jackets are really for
They are worn when clouds give us a downpour,
When we want to feel comfy while we snore
And when we don't want to show skin anymore.

I wrote that poem cuz a lot of people made fun of me for always wearing a jacket no matter what the weather was.

If you have a friend, or someone who always likes doing the same, please avoid bullying or teasing them because

deep down, we don't really know what's going on inside their hearts and personal lives,

so i think we should just be quiet and respect them for who they are instead of being unwise.
