Elizabeth could remember the time when she imagined to be just like him, to save lives by his side like a partner. But it never occurred to her that it would come true until the day she got her powers.

She got them by a complete accident. She was only wandering around her father, Tony Stark's, lab when she accidentally spilt a chemical on herself that Tony was working on. It somehow gave her the powers the Mandarin had.

That accident, however, gave her the opportunity to do what she wanted. However, she just couldn't come up with the courage to ask her idol, Spider-Man, to be her superhero partner. So she would usually save the neighbourhood side by side with her father.

On the other hand, she currently attends Midtown High School. Like her father, she isn't afraid to hide her superhero identity, so practically everyone in Midtown High knew who she was. The girls either adore or envy her and the boys either ignore her or try to date her. However, she wasn't interested in any boy but one. She never had a crush on any boy except for one. That young man's name was Peter Parker.

It wasn't his looks that attracted her, but his personality. Pure, innocent, smart and kind, Peter was always someone who would look out for his friends, one of them being Elizabeth herself. He was also someone she would call a responsible person. She had had him as a crush ever since she first met him, but she was able to hide it well.

Right now, she was on one of her so-called 'solo missions' and this mission didn't require much. Just the classic thief who stole a purse from an elderly. She wondered why they still try to do this and get away successfully.

Elizabeth managed to catch up to the thief and burned the hand which held the stolen purse. The thief yelled in agony and dropped the purse before Elizabeth tackled him and knocked him out with a punch to his head.

"Easy peasy," Elizabeth muttered as a crowd began to form around her and the thief. One of the witnesses must have called the police as she saw a few cops forcing the barely conscious thief to stand as they handcuffed him and pushed him into their police car.

Fortunately for the hero, the police asked the crowd to disperse. The people obliged and went their ways. Elizabeth walked towards the elderly and returned her the purse. Because of the elderly's extreme gratefulness, she treated Elizabeth to some churros.

Enjoying the tastiness of the churros, Elizabeth walked around the city, searching for some thieves or threats to stop. Fortunately, she found one. But it was nothing she has seen before.

In an alley, Elizabeth witnessed a man nearly six feet tall cornering someone she couldn't quite recognise because of the darkness that filled the alley. The only thing extraordinary was that the attacker was using technology she has never seen before: Alien Technology. 

"You might save people, Spider-Boy, but there's no one to save you," The attacker said. Elizabeth then heard Spider-Man trying to shoot his webs, but he seems to have run out.

This is her chance. A one-time opportunity. She can save her idol and prove to him to be a worthy partner without even asking.

Before the attacker could use his weapon, Elizabeth sneakily sped towards him and tackled him down. Spider-Man the stood up and immediately fought the attacker alongside Elizabeth. Both of them worked together so well, seeing that it was the first time they've ever fought together. Elizabeth tried to kick him in the head and he dodged, but he wasn't able to dodge Spider-Man's kick to his chest, which brought him slumping against the wall of the alley.

The attacker then tried to use his weapon against them. But when he held his hand up to use it, Spider-Man webbed his hand up.

"Wait, I thought you ran out of webs. I saw it myself," Elizabeth questioned.

"Nah, it was a system's malfunction, and I got it working again," Spider-Man explained.

Seeing the cops pulling someone in their car for the second time, Spider-Man thanked her for saving his life.

"It was no problem at all," Elizabeth reassured. "Just doing what I do best."

"Oh, that's nice. Say, do you wanna like, fight crime together sometime?" Spider-Man asked.

Elizabeth freaked out on the inside but suppressed her emotions on the outside and just smiled. "Sure, that'll be great."
