•° The Invasion°•

______________________________________

"Your Majesty... ," a servant bolted in the chamber almost out of breath. "King?" He spoke in a trembling tone.

"What's taking you so long?!" An angry tone sounded as it stormed inside. She felt the bile in her stomach rise to her throat, and she quickly bolted out of the chamber.

"No! We have no plan, and we are under attack! Where are the Arc Wolves?"

"We haven't heard from them in a while... ." A servant of in a soft voice.

"DANG IT?!" A male servant yelled as he raised his hands to grab the hairs on his head. Sweat began to form on his forehead, and his breathing quickened. He stood with his teeth gritting against each other for a moment before he turned to face the other servants to utter. "We have no choice but to fight back! Check on the other royals!" He ordered.

"Princess Aesira is dead, and I can't find the other royals." A servant spoke.

"Good gracious!" The male servant dropped his head, and a smile appeared on his distressed face. "This can't get any worse than this."

Suddenly, each servant inside the chamber felt lightheaded, and a few dropped on the marble floor.

"It must be... . Oh no, the shield... . It has been broken." A servant stuttered to utter words.

••••••••••

"Ugh!" Alethea muttered under her breath with her eyes closed.

"The shield... it has been broken... . The Kingdown is under attack." McGill spoke.

"We have to run." The taller figure spoke. "Alethea, you know where the tunnels in these dungeons lead to right?"

"Yeah, I'm familiar with these tunnels." She spoke . " How about my brother Leon?"

The three figures were quiet for a moment as they exchanged glances among each other, and just then, the two guards began to groan as they wiggled and struggled.

"HEY YOU!" A black armored guard yelled. His voice boomed in the tunnel. "Quick down here! I found the Little Princess!" He yelled for his other minions to follow.

"Ah! Quick! Let's leave!" The taller figure spoke.

"LEON!" Alethea yelled on top of her lungs as McGill dragged her by her hand. The five troops bolted after them as they sprinted down the tunnel.

The taller figure halted for a moment and leaned against the stony walls. She exhaled out loudly through her mouth and inhaled through her nose.

"Why did you stop? Come on, we have to go." McGill spoke as he breathed through his mouth.

"I can't. I'm exhausted." The figure uttered as it took breaths in between.

The clinging of armor grew louder, and soon enough, the five guards halted just a meter away. McGill quickly dashed towards the black armored troops' direction. They drew their swords and positioned themselves. One of the troops charged forward with his sword . He raised his sword high in the air, and McGill smoothly slid on the left side of the troop. He quickly elbowed the troop on his right and fisted another who was a bit further back. His head hit the stony wall, and he dropped on the ground. He shifted his body to connect his fist with the troop that stood a little further back - he hit him again with his fist, much harder than the first time. He tripped on his foot and hit the sandy floor with a thud.

Two troops both swung their swords at him, and he quickly ducked down on the ground , causing the two swords to clash against each other with a clamorous clang. He rolled away just in time, and a sword struck the ground his body was at - without any second to lose. He planted his hand on the ground and used his free leg to strike one of the soldier's right thigh. He cried out loud in pain and dropped his sword on the ground.

He instantly got on his two feet and fisted a soldier in his lower jaw. He fell on his back, dropping his sword on the ground. The two remaining guards charged forward - he smoothly slid between the two, dodging their swords that slashed at him. He placed his hands forward inches away from their faces, releasing orange flames at the two soldiers. The two cried out in extreme agony as their metal helmet breathed out grey streams of smoke.

He exhaled out loudly through his mouth, and sweat dripped down his face.

"Okay, they are down. Quick, let's move!" He gestured for the two figures.

"I'm exhausted, Sir McGill," Alethea whined.

He sighed and crouched down a bit, and she hoped on his back.
They sprinted down the tunnel as fast as they could until they saw a stony wall standing before them. On both sides was an opening. McGill listened hard as he heard soft faint footsteps coming from the left opening. They quickly aligned themselves against the wall and waited. The figure's shadow grew closer and closer until it halted. Seeing this, McGill jumped on the figure, tuckling it down onto the ground, and to his shock, he saw a familiar face.

"Leon?" He uttered.

"Ugh!" He whined in pain.

"Leon!" Alethea spoke in a cheerful tone.

"Where's Aesira?" McGill questioned him. "And the King?"

Leon lowered his gave and remained silent for a moment as McGill shook him vigorously.

"Leon?" Alethea spoke.

He turned his head to his side and glanced at them.

"Aesira is dead." He spoke.

"How about Father?"

"His dead, too."

"We don't have time to mourn. We need to leave now." The figure spoke in a harsh whisper. Leon turned his glance to face the figure, and his eyes widened. His jaw dropped at the sight of the figure.

"Chessa?" She rolled her eyes and scoffed under her breath.

"Where do these tunnels lead to?" Chessa questioned.

"There's a door outside and probably a boat."

"Let's move before they find us." Chessa spoke, and they quickly bolted.

••••••••••

Thousands of screams pierced through the air. Loud cries and pleas of the people from Entrinnia could be heard from every inch of the Kingdom. The ground rumbling and dust rose in the atmosphere as people thudded their feet on the earthly ground - sprinting away from the ruthless armored troops.
The neatly built wooden houses were now in shambles, and some toppled over.

The black armored troops arched their swords over their heads and slashed the helpless people. Painting the land with a crimson red thick liquid and a metallic distinctive tang scent filled the airspace within the land.

Zephyrion gazed at the sky with a smile on him. He steadily closed his eyes and inhaled the air.
He then made his way to the highest point of the castle and stood as he watched the people below exchange blows.
He stood for a moment, and then he raised both of his hands, commanding his troops to stop.

"Entrinnia! Welcome your new ruler, Zephyrion. Any knee or head that won't bow down to your Highness will be punished accordingly," he uttered as loud as he could.

"Oh, Hail King Zephyrion!" A troop yelled at the top of his lungs with his fist in the air, and the troops below began to chant.

"HAIL KING ZEPHYRION!"

A troop sauntered to him and whispered words into his right ear. He nodded his head, and his smile widened. The chants were like a sweet tune to his ears. He could feel his spirit become lively again.

••••••••••

The four of them reached a wooden door. Alethea reached out her hand and pulled the door nob. They were greeted by vastly strong winds of chains that blew their hair a bit.

"Come on, we have to be quick!" Leon yelled.

Chessa took a step forward. She planted her hands in the air just an inch away from her upper body. An invisible force began to ripple through the air, creating a barrier, shielding them from the strong winds of chains. They all carefully lowered themselves down the steps until they felt their feet sink in the sandy, grainy soil.

There, a small wooden boat tied onto a rock  floated on the dark blue crystal water that  flowed quickly. The water splashed every now and then, hitting against the huge rocks.
McGill quickly untied the boat and hoped inside. The others followed behind.
Leon quickly grabbed the paddle on the left and aided McGill in paddling away from the castle.

From afar, a tall figure stood observing them, and it made eye contact with Leon's glaring eyes.
