Love is blind.
They say.
But I say what my heart desires to:
Your heart gleams where no light shines.
A diamond among gold.
Your voice it's like a soothing, sweet harmony.
An angel who blesses my ears with her sweet tone.
Your eyes greets me with happiness.
Like a moon pulling the ocean towards it.
My heart longs for you and you only.
Where no light shines you are my light.
A star glimmering the brightest than other stars.
Others say we are two magnets attracting each other.
True.
Because in their eyes...
You are my North and I'm your South.
Nothing can never make us repel each other.

"We were once a happy family of five even though you caused me harm physically. I still loved you. You were the only man I have loved dearly Gerald."
"I... I... I was forced to do it Laurissa. I too loved you dearly."
"I cried day and night because of your torture. I had no peace. Never once I had peace after Leon was born. Your cruelty was too much for poor soul Gerald."
"Laurissa... forgive my actions."
"Be QUIET!"
"WHY?! WHY?! DID YOU DO IT? WHY DID YOU MURDER ME?! GERALD?!"
•••••
The tall, grey haired man with short ear length hair woke up with a loud gasp. His eyes brown eyes immediately opened revealing his blood shot eyes. His skin was pale as a ghost. He could hear his heart beat faster than ever. He knew he couldn't keep this secret forever. Soon or later his children will find out and hate him till he cease to exist.
One thing for sure. He was taking his secret to his grave.
"Why can't she let me live in peace?" He thought to himself.
"Your Majesty, you are awake," spoke a young man dresses in a metallic armor. His right arm crossed over his chest and slightly bowed before his King with a small smile on him.
"Where am I?" King Gerald questioned with his wrinkly brown eyes examining the wooden built-up room. He tried to sit up straight on the small hard bed he laid on, but he couldn't. The young man from earlier assisted him and handed him a cool glass of freshly made water. In seconds the glass was empty and he gestured for another glass of water.
"Thank you... Kallias." The young boy just nodded his head. A soft knock then appeared on the other side of the door. Kallias quickly marched to open the door and there stood a short chubby dark-skinned woman dressed in her ravishing attire. Her grey hair was neatly tied back in a bun and her blue eyes stared into the young man's eyes.
"Here is your meal for the night," she spoke with a smile on her and gestured for two people to enter the room. One was a short, slender woman who held a wooden tray in it were two bowls and a small plate. The King sighed from the sight of the food and non of it had a pleasant greeting to his nostrils. Another was a very bony tall boy with dark messy hair, dressed in baggy clothes. He held a metallic grey tray in it where two silver cylinder cups and had a very strong aroma that filled the room. Liquor. It was and Kjng Gerald rather looked dissatisfied.
"How could one drink happily after having an unsatisfying meal?" He thought to himself.
"The rest of the other men have been well fed. Do not worry much my King." Kallias spoke with a smile.
The King just nodded his head with his eyebrows furrowed and angrily munched on a small hard brown bread.
He had to beg his father who serves The King as one of the most high men in The Kingdom and the situation ruled in Kallias favor. He was to follow the same foot-steps as his father soon... soon.
For a 16 year old boy he was skilled in his sword skills, hunting skills, combat skills, survival skills and unfortunately maybe he wasn't blessed in being a mage.
Not much of The Kingdom focuses on being a mage and non of their fore-fathers would ever want a ruler for a mage. That's why King Gerald was known to be one of The Greatest Swords man to ever stepped foot on the of their Kingdom.
It been a while since he had gone to a battle. Perhaps he at least knows how to hold a sword correctly...?
Kallias the young boy stepped outside and began to sway his sword in the air as quickly as he could. Slicing the cold air with his sword, creating an echo. His feet were moving forth and back creating a little dusty-air. His huge icy- blue eyes did not seem to daze in whichever direction the sword swayed in, but only focused forth in the pitch black night.
In the pitch black a shadow watched his every move from afar. His eyes watching like a predator about to devour its prey. Like a lion he leapt a bit forward and removed his before formulating a plan in his mind to attack the young boy.
••••••••••
"Here Leo. Just a sip of this and you will be fine."
Leo grabbed the small clear bottle with a green liquid inside. He took a sip of it and within a blink of an eye- his intense headache began to fade away and his wounds too. He felt more alive than ever and far much better than before.
"I can make it to the training yard as soon as possible."
Ali put a hand on his shoulder and within a concerned look on her she shook her head.
"No you need a bit of rest Leo."
"I'm fine Ali. I need to do this. One day I will be one of the greatest swordsman ever-just like father."
Ali's expression darkened a bit and she just nodded at him.
Before he left he gave her a tight hug and made his way out of the castle through the other side of the gate. As he walked down the little pathway he could feel his body move greatly again with no pain. Down the small little hill- he finally made it to the training centre.
He examined the place and noticed that it was a bit occupied compared to the other days. A few of the people glared in his way as he walked to practice with a few others.
One of them scoffed and then marched away to train alone.
"Oh its pur dear Princey who put our lives in danger. Welcome back. We missed you."
Leon quietly practiced his sword skills and didn't dare to say a word.
"Pathetic. He is man enough to respond." The boy spoke and swept his leg causing Leon to drop on to the ground with a thud. The other few people chuckled quietly to themselves and did not seem to have a bit of care.
The boy then stepped on Leon's chest and removed his wooden sword and pressed it in his neck.
"If I was your father I would have had your head as one of my trophies in my cabinet of trophies. I would use your head to practice my arrow skills." He growled.
"You let us and your people down. You only thrive to survive on our gains." One boy joined in. He was one of the friends of the boy who was threatening Leon with a sword.
"Weak little Prince. At least Aesira is next to be our leader." He chuckled to himself.
"Leave him alone. It wasn't his fault. Hadrian." A soft voice spoke and everyone turned to face in the direction the voice came from.
There stood Chessa holding a wooden box with a smile on her. Finn's smirk widened as his brown eyes examined her body. He could feel his heart beat faster and had forgotten about everything a second ago. He slowly sauntered to her and grab her rosy cheeks and forced her to face him.
"How about you ignore this weak man and be with me?" He spoke.
Chessa smiled sweetly at him as she gazed into his unattractive brown eyes for a moment. His eyes seemed to be gazing into hers deeply and he moved a bit closer to her. She then shoved him really hard that he fell flat on the ground causing the other watchers to chuckle extremely loudly. His face became red and his eyes dazed everywhere as his eyes threatened to flow with tears.
She then held out a hand to help Leon who was on the ground and he gladly took it.
"I'm glad you are far much better Leon. Her I brought these freshly baked muffins."
She spoke and opened the wooden box and there the young people's nostrils was greeted with a sweet scent of the muffins. Their mouths-watered and their stomachs began to growl. There six huge muffins were neatly packed in the wooden box, ravishingly decorated with a white cream that dripped from the sides with a few blueberries as a topping.
"I wanted to wish you a well recovery why not have a bite. I made these myself with all my heart. My mom guided me a bit."
"They are really good!" She spoke as she took a bite of one of the muffins.
Leon stared at her for a moment then his eyes landed on the muffins that stared back at him. He could feel himself becoming hungry. His hand slowly rose to grab one muffin and before he knew it he held it to his lips ready to devour it.
