Hateful Obsessions With the Wind
I'm falling beneath a sweet, sweet sugary black
And it's feeling like I'm going to die tonight
Beneath the track running along a coal-miner back
And the night under the devil's yellow-tooth stars
Might just be alright
I'm creeping up the highway, and it's all going my way
The crime that's happening tonight by the minor light
And none of us have got a say in the wild-thing's fray
The winding, twilit road to hell turns right, right
Life's wicked delights
And I'll be leaving soon down to Arizona
The desert's dry wind has led me astray,
I'll be high on the summer-spring rain's aroma,
Succumb the months till the clock turns to May,
Bleeding technicolour days
And the sun scrapes its knees on the end of the world,
Orange bombs to rain down upon skyscrapers
Stretching through an unleashed wild beast of deceit
A new radioactive neighbour, a new traumatic labour
To pray to my evil's favour
It's mighty alright, it's mighty alright
I'll voice the thoughts of my yellow ghosts
They stalk us day and night
And soon I'll be their host,
I remember those yellow-teeth stars, technicolour days
And I hate myself the most
