Frozen in pictographs
Water, swept up into frosted waves
Mirrored in giggles and laughs
Fairies, sprinkling like dust, drifting away
Captured on the edge of air
Icing, caked across mountain tops
Frosted and crusting and spilling down trees
Upon summer stops.
White lilies blooming across a muddy beach
Punctured by trees and wild things
Danger, where cold seeks
Malicious thoughts and icy beasts
Curling and wait,
Ripening and hibernate,
Beneath a shell of glass,
The last snow fairy's fall
Giggles, and soaks
In mirrors dusted with salt
Reach deep within and evoke
The wild things at heart.
A static of wind
Crash of thunder
Icicles snap into nutcracker swords
Bear the violence of a ballet,
And grow into the land from
Wonderland and snow.
