In our little fandom, there are various types of fangirls. Let's discuss what these are...

1. Beatles and Queen
This is that one fangirl that pretty much only listens to the Beatles and/or Queen. This could be because they are new, or because they just never wanted to venture out. This is related to:

2. The Newbie
This classic rock fangirl is new to the classic rock fandom. The poor thing is probably a little scared because there are just so many inside jokes they are yet to understand. However, if they like most of the bands that are encapsulated by the fandom, they can find their way.

3. The Convert
This fangirl was at one point either an emo, indie, or alternative fangirl most likely. Now, by some happenstance, they started listening to classic rock, or just started listening more heavily. Slowly but surely they jumped ship to read our fanfics and now they may either be completely in our fandom or kind of in both, which are both good options, mind you.

4. The Hardcore
This fangirl knows everything about her favorite band. I mean, everything. She definitely has written multiple fact books on Wattpad in devotion to her favorite bands. If ever you have a question, ask her. Also, she definitely has very firm opinions about what a band's best member/album/period was.

5. Young Lust
This one definitely has had many a wet dream involving her favorite classic rockers. Also, probably provides us with a good portion of the smut. Not afraid to talk about the sex appeal of them on a regular basis.

6. Hipster
The fangirl that joined us to look cool, I.e., be a hipster. She probably doesn't use Wattpad, but she is definitely flooding YouTube right now with comments like this:

"I'm fifteen, and no one I know likes my kind of music (Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles), you know, the good stuff! Everyone listens to crap these days! Modern music sucks!"

I get it, it can be hard to find fellow teenagers who like classic rock, but seriously, joking something on the internet to get rid of the problem! Stop complaining on YouTube, it's really annoying.
(By the way, I'm not above this sin. We have all done this at some point.)

7. The subgenre specific
This fangirl has found her niche in a certain subsection of the fandom. Examples include:
. Classic Punk
. Prog Squad
. British Invasion
. Classic Metal
. Etc...

8. The 80's and/or 90's fan
This fangirl is not so much a fan of the more widely accepted classic rock of the 60's and 70's, but more a fan of the music of the eighties or nineties. Still, they kind of tag along in the fandom because there is a lot of crossover.
