Top Eleven Favorite Albums

Oh God, why am I doing this to myself?

For this, I am attempting to narrow down my list of favorite albums down to just eleven. Why am I doing this, you may ask. That's because I can.
(Not in any real order)

1. Here Come the Warm Jets

You probably only need to be reading this book for a sort time before you realize I'm basically Brian Eno trash. I can get into why I love this album later, but few albums hold the same amount of significance to me as this one. It's so eclectic, different, and just a great listen. If you consider yourself my friend and you genuinely respect my musical opinions, I seriously would recommend listening to something from here.

2. The Who Sell Out

Ah, I absolutely adore this album too. I would say this is the first album I absolutely fell in love with. It's definitely my favorite Who album. There is a psychedelic side to The Who that this album presents that is so thrilling.

3. Revolver

Best Beatle Album Ever!!!
The Beatles were my first band, therefore this one must be on my list. I absolutely adore everything on this. It's just one great track after another.

4. Queen II

This album presents two sides of Queen, the emotional, sensitive side and the dramatic, operatic side. Both are juxtaposed together for an absolutely stunning listen.

5. Led Zeppelin III

You know who likes Led Zeppelin? Me. You know who likes folky music? Me. You know who loves folky Led Zeppelin? Me.

6. "Heroes"

I love David Bowie so much. He is tied with Brian Eno for the place of my absolute favorite favorite solo artist. This is his work at its best, in my opinion.

7. For Your Pleasure

Again, this album is just perfect from start to finish. One great track after another, with amazing instrumental work peppered all over it. Highly recommended.

8. The Doors

In my opinion the quintessential psychedelic album. I have nothing more to say, Ray's keyboards, Jim's singing, John's drumming, and Robby's guitar playing are all perfect.

9. The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway

This presents an awesome concept album that is so lush it's honestly amazing. It's so good.

10. Electric Warrior

Marc Bolan at his best. There is the glam rock genre in here that he absolutely created, along with his folky roots. All around great listen.

11. Joshua Tree

I'm. Kicking. Myself. Because. I. Can't. Believe. I. Almost. Forgot. This. One.
The passion that comes forth in here is so cool. Edge's guitar creates a sort of sonic landscape in here that is so beautiful.

Two things:
Brian Eno was involved in five of these eleven albums. I swear that wasn't intentional. I challenge you to figure out what all five are....

Also, I had an idea of doing a sort of mass album review thing were I take an artist and review their whole discography. Would you be interested in reading that in here?
