Well, I was doing my Irish Duolingo when I came upon a very important revelation:

Yes, that's right. The Irish equivalent of the name Paul actually is Pól. Therefore, I am basically just calling Paul the Irish equivalent of his own name.

And Paul McCartney actually is Irish so.....
