One thing, and I'm not judging here, about the classic rock fandom is a tendency to automatically write off of modern music. Some of it is really cool and you should check it out:

1. Adele

I know, basic, right? Don't hate me. I love her voice. Besides, she loves Bob Dylan.

2. Florence and the Machine

She is super artsy and her music is cool. There you go.

3. King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard

Wicked_Annabella take pride in yourself. Here is a successful conversion into me liking these guys.
Awesome progressive psychedelic rock going on here. There is a wide variety of styles they've tried, so it's likely you'll find something you'll like.

4. Melanie Martinez

Again, don't hate me. I really respect the fact that she isn't your average pop musician, there is some actual art going on there. Her music has a real dark undertone that I really like.

5. Tom Odell

Pat yourself on the back, hannahmfoley01 . You got me to listen to him, and I must say his music is quite good. There is an interesting mix of a classic and modern vibe going on.

Special Mention: The Lumineers

I've never actually heard them but I'm curious. Any opinions on their music? Tell me!
