I was wondering if I could get some advice from you guys.

So, I'm going to be performing David Bowie's song "Changes" in my school talent show this Thursday. We are apparently allowed to dress up or wear some sort of costume. I was considering putting on some glam rock-inspired makeup in addition to some fairly basic clothes.

If you are wondering what exactly I mean, just think Marc Bolan, basically.

However, I'm wondering if doing that would be "over the top."

What do you think?

Should I go for it, or just go basic?
