A few posts ago, I did a thing about how to do a look inspired by Freddie Mercury. Well now, I'm going to a look inspired by Marc Bolan now, because I can.

Makeup.

Okay, so from my research (aka, my photo collection of my iPad), I've noted two major things that Marc did with his makeup.

Thing Number 1

Bright eyeshadow- Mostly in shades of pink, purple, and blue. This is definitely a fairly typical glam rock look, so this actually translates very nice for any glam rock look. For this, just take any bold or pastel shade of he aforementioned colors, and blend them into your top lid.
Glitter- Marc was actually one of the few so called "glitter rockers" that actually wore glitter. So, feel free to add as much glitter to your eyelids and cheeks to suit your fancy.
Blush- Optional. Go for somewhat of a cool tone of pink, even purple if you can find it.

Thing Number Two

This I'll call his day to day look, as most photos when Marc wasn't on stage, this was the look he was going for.
Eyeliner- Ah, yes! So for this, line both the top and bottom of your eye with liquid eyeliner, not going all the way to the inner crease of your eye. (If you are feeling really fancy, you could attempt to add a small wing on the outer corner.)

Hair
Okay, so for this, honestly, if you have curly hair, exploit that! If not, just try to give your hair some more volume.

Clothes
Bold!
Any bright color ought to do, mix and match things for a fun, if not pseudo hippie sort of look.
