If you weren't aware, the 1960's were a really cool decade. However, the extent of cool goes far beyond music, even though that is a big part of it. So, I wanted to talk about some other cultural things that were cool about the decade.

1. The Makeup

Okay, I'm sorry but this was the decade for makeup. Literally goals, people.

2. Star Trek

One of the best tv shows/ film franchises ever has it's origins here. That's all I have to say.

3. Frisbee

Apparently in the 1960's frisbee was really popular with the hippies or something. I thought this was really important to note.

4. The Sound of Music

I love this movie musical so much!

5. James Bond

The best James Bond films came out, man!

6. The Twilight Zone

This is my favorite show ever, btw.

7. The Cheesy Batman Show

1966 Batman, people. CRINGE

8. Mary Poppins

Again, I love this movie!

9. Andy Warhol

Andy was definitely one of the greatest artists ever, and some of his greatest work was done in the 1960's. He absolutely fascinates me. (If you are reading my story, Going Down, this kind of explains why he is name dropped all the time. He isn't going away any time soon, by the way.)
