The World of Chevryia
Chevryia is a vast and diverse world, rich in history and culture. It is home to various races, each with its own unique characteristics and traditions. The world is divided into numerous kingdoms, empires, and principalities, with a complex web of alliances, rivalries, and conflicts. At the heart of Chevryia's history are the tales of three kingdoms—Falerian Empire, Bridwelian Theocracy, and Duchy of Drauvende—whose greed, corruption, and thirst for power have left a lasting mark on the world.
The Races of Chevryia
Humans: The most populous race in Chevryia, humans are diverse in culture and tradition. They inhabit a variety of kingdoms and are known for their adaptability and ambition.
Elves: The Elves are an ancient and mystical race, known for their longevity, wisdom, and mastery of magic. They live in secluded forests and are deeply connected to nature.
Beast-Men: The Beast-Men are a race of half-human, half-animal beings. They possess the intelligence of humans and the physical traits of animals, such as enhanced senses, strength, and agility. They are often seen as fierce warriors and skilled hunters.
Dwarves: The Dwarves are a stout and resilient race, known for their skill in mining and metalwork. They live in mountainous regions, where they build vast underground cities.
Orcs: Orcs are a brutish and warlike race, often living in tribal societies. They are known for their strength, ferocity in battle, and a strong sense of honor.
The History of Chevryia:
The Age of Empires:
In the early days of Chevryia, the world was dominated by powerful empires and kingdoms. The Elves ruled the vast forests, while the Dwarves controlled the mountains. Humans, though less organized, began to establish their own realms, competing for resources and territory. The Beast-Men lived in harmony with nature, often serving as guardians of the wild.
The Rise of the Falerian Empire:
The Falerian Empire, founded by the ambitious human warlord Valerius Falerian, rose to power through a combination of military conquest and strategic alliances. The empire expanded rapidly, subjugating neighboring human kingdoms and even clashing with the Elves and Dwarves. The Falerian emperors were known for their ruthless tactics and heavy taxation, leading to widespread corruption within the imperial administration.
As the empire grew, so did its greed. The Falerian Empire began to enslave conquered peoples, including Elves, Beast-Men, and even their own citizens. The imperial capital became a hub of decadence and excess, with the ruling class exploiting the lower classes for their own gain.
The Corruption of the Bridwelian Theocracy:
The Bridwelian Theocracy was once a peaceful and pious realm, where the people lived under the guidance of benevolent priests. However, after a series of religious wars, the theocracy became increasingly authoritarian. The high priests, who claimed divine authority, began to impose strict religious laws, often punishing dissenters with brutal force.

The theocracy's leaders grew corrupt, using their power to amass wealth and influence. The commoners, burdened by heavy tithes and forced labor, suffered greatly under the oppressive regime. The Bridwelian Theocracy also opened a slavery market, where those deemed heretical or enemies of the state were sold into bondage. The theocracy's armies, once defenders of the faith, became tools of conquest, expanding the theocracy's borders through invasion and subjugation.
The Descent of the Duchy of Drauvende:
The Duchy of Drauvende, a once-prosperous land of fertile plains and bustling cities, fell into corruption and tyranny as internal strife tore the duchy apart. The noble families, driven by greed and ambition, engaged in constant power struggles, leading to widespread bribery, assassination, and betrayal.
As the central authority weakened, local lords began to rule their territories with an iron fist, exploiting the peasantry and engaging in the slave trade. The duchy's markets became notorious for selling prisoners of war, debtors, and even kidnapped civilians. The Duchy of Drauvende's armies, once defenders of the realm, became marauding bands of mercenaries, pillaging neighboring lands and spreading fear and chaos.
The Wars of Greed
The three corrupt kingdoms—Falerian Empire, Bridwelian Theocracy, and Duchy of Drauvende—became embroiled in a series of bloody wars, known as the Wars of Greed. These conflicts were driven by the kingdoms' insatiable hunger for power and resources. The Falerian Empire sought to expand its territory, while the Bridwelian Theocracy aimed to spread its religious dominance. The Duchy of Drauvende, fragmented and desperate, engaged in opportunistic raids and invasions.
The Wars of Greed devastated the lands of Chevryia, leaving behind a legacy of suffering and destruction. Entire regions were depopulated, and the once-great cities lay in ruins. The Elves and Dwarves, though initially neutral, were drawn into the conflict as their lands were threatened. The Beast-Men, once protectors of the wild, were hunted and enslaved by the warring factions.
The Fall and Legacy
The Wars of Greed eventually led to the decline of the three kingdoms. The Falerian Empire, overstretched and plagued by internal rebellion, crumbled under the weight of its own corruption. The Bridwelian Theocracy was overthrown by a popular uprising, as the oppressed commoners rose against their tyrannical rulers. The Duchy of Drauvende fractured into smaller, warring states, each ruled by a petty tyrant.
In the aftermath, the world of Chevryia began to rebuild. New kingdoms and alliances emerged from the ashes of the old, seeking to forge a more just and peaceful world. However, the scars of the past remain, as the legacy of greed, corruption, and tyranny continues to haunt the lands of Chevryia. The memory of the fallen kingdoms serves as a cautionary tale, reminding the people of the dangers of unchecked power and ambition.
Location Avalon whereabouts:
The Avalon Empire relocated to the lands of the Republic of Oraionlu, Which is the Republic of Oraionlu no longer and has been retaken their land by The Avalon Empire. The Republic of Oraionlu is nothing but a corrupt and illegal place where people were captured and sold as slaves. When the leader of the Avalon Empire heard about this, he was outraged and disgusted by their actions, prompting him to declare war and liberate the slaves. In the Avalon Empire, slavery is strictly forbidden, which led to the downfall of the Republic of Oraionlu. Approximately 30,000 soldiers of the Republic were killed in action.
Those who surrendered, such as women and children, including nobles and high-ranking individuals, were given rehabilitation. Those who refused were assigned to labor in the mines, though they were treated with dignity, unlike in other kingdoms. Male nobles and commoners were offered a chance to start a new life. Those who refused were fed to the Empire's beasts, including dragons, wyverns, hounds, and more. The rescued slaves were given the choice to either stay or leave. Those who stayed were provided with fair and equal opportunities, including common jobs such as merchants, and security guards, and the last option to be conscripted into the Avalon Empire's army.
