'If you are happy and you know it, Clap your hand.'

A girl was seen jumping on her bed, clapping her hands, laughing happily, singing the Rhymes.

A boy who was sitting in front of her, reading his book, gave a cherised smile at her and returned his gaze back to his book.

" Clap your hand naa...Lucky." said the girl childishly.

" I have exams from tomorrow, Ragu. Just let me complete reading it. " he said as he turned the page of his book.

" No..!! " she gave him pouted face. " Clap your hands with me. Otherwise Ragu is going to be angry on you."

He laughed and put his book aside. " Really? Ragu is going to angry with her Lucky! "

" Yes..!!" She folded her arms around her chest trying to show him that she is angry already.

" And If I do this with you. " he clapped his hands and jumped on the bed with her and she giggled immediately.

She too starts clapping her hands and laughed. He too joined her in her fun forgetting about his exam.

Ragini was 6 when she met with an accident, leaving a big impact on her life.

It left her mentally unstable for the rest of her life. Doctor said there will be chances of her to be normal but it has risk of her life.

Shekhar and Janki, didn't have the courage to experience the same feeling again of almost loosing their daughter.

Laksh's family came to stay in their neighbourhood 7 years before and from then Raglak were best of friends.

She felt happy whenever he is with her and he felt content to feel her presence around her.

Both families too came close because of their friendship. But Annapurna, mother of Laksh, always felt little anxious about how much her son made himself attached to her.

She loves Ragini, and she doesn't have any problem with their friendship, but she fears that one day this friendship will converted into something else for her son. And she don't want it to happen with her son.

She came into Ragini's room and felt angry to saw Laksh having fun with her instead of preparing for the exams.

" Laksh..!! "

" Mom." He looked startled and lost his balance and fall on the bed itself.

Ragini laughed loudly to see him. " Lucky fell down. Lucky fell down." She clapped her hands and shouting happily.

" What are you doing? Don't you have to study for your exam? " her angry voice made Ragini to stop clapping and shouting.

She looked at her blinking as she stromed inside her room and about to drag him outside.

Ragini grabbed his other hand and said. " NO..!! Don't take my Lucky."

" Ragu, He has exams..!! He have to study." Ap said in a calm voice and Ragini shook her head.

" No..!! Lucky will play with Ragu." She said " Here..!!! In her room. " she said stubbornly and ap's forehead itched with irritation.

" Mom, I will complete it in the night. Let us play some more time. " Laksh intervened and Ap gave him a glare making him shut his mouth.

" No late night studies. You have exam early morning, Laksh. "

" But? "

" Not a single word. " that shut him up finally.

" Don't scold my Lucky." Ragini said pouting sternly. " You are becoming bad Aunty. " she said pointing a finger at her.

Ap felt bad for a moment but she have to do it for her son's better future.

" It's for his own good Ragu. He will be a great businessman after studying just like your dad and uncle. " Ap tried to make her understand but she shook her head in denial.

" No, I don't want my lucky to be like them. " She said with wide eyes. " They left me for whole day and come only in night. I don't want my Lucky to leave me like that." she said and clucthed Laksh's hand in the fear of loosing him.

Laksh looked at her with adoring eyes which didn't go unnoticed from Ap's eyes.

" But he has to study Ragu. So let him go." she tried to remove her grip from his wrist but she tighten it more.

" Mom, Please " Laksh gave a pleading look to her mom and she sighed.

" Just half an hour and you will be in your room. Am I clear ? "

" Thank you mom. " he hugged her happily and Ragini too smiled happily to see his smile.

She was 13 when she met Laksh. They were inseperable from the time they meet. It's been 10 years now, and the bond between them was still the same.

Laksh just turned 24, last month and he still spend most of his time with Ragini, who was going to be 23 in next few month.

He joined his father's business and Ragini was devasted the first few days, when he retured late at night. She didn't have her food the whole day only waiting for him to return.

He tried to manage his time by coming home in between the day, but it wasn't enough for Ragini.

So he made the decision to take her with him. All protest but he convinced everyone. Janki was very worried when he took Ragini with him but she felt relief when Ragini returned at night with a bright smile.

She was jumping happily to spend the whole day with her Lucky.

She narrated how much she enjoyed in that new building. How Lucky gave her new Art book and cryons and colours and paint with her.

" I splashed whole bottle of colour on his table. " Ragini told her mom, laughing and clapping. " And then made a big, beautiful painting there." she gestured with her hands making them part very wide.

Janki looked worried as she knows that it was his work table she was talking about.

She asked Laksh, next day about it and he assured that nothing happened. She didn't mess anything.

Janki couldn't tell how happy she felt whenever Laksh covered up for her daughter. She knows that he will never complain even if she did something wrong.

" Thank you for taking care of her. " she kissed his forehead and left before giving blessings to him.

It was routine from that day that he took her with him.

All were happy seeing them happy together but Ap wasn't. She wasn't very joyous about the happenings.

She can clearly see that it wasn't just friendship for his son now, It became more. He wants her presence around him as much as she wants him.

She can see her son happy with her but she is a mother. She have to think about his future because there wasn't any future of them.

Ragini wasn't stable and he can't spend his whole life taking care of her. So she think to talk to him about his marriage.

Her friend's daughter Mansi, just returned from London after completing her studies and she asked her friend to let her stay with them for few days.

" Laksh. " She called when she saw him came out of his room.

" Yes Mom? "

" Beta, My friend's daughter is coming to stay with us for some days. Can you be here early tonight? "

" But I promised Ragini to take her to park, in the evening."

Ap gave him an annoyed look. " You can take her tomorrow, Laksh. "

" I'll try to be early Mom. Bye. " he kissed her cheek.

She called him from behind. " Have breakfast beta. "

" Will take with Ragu, Mom. Don't worry. " he left and entered into Ragini's house leaving a upset Ap behind as he didn't cancel his plan with Ragini.

" My Luckyyyy is backkkkk.....!!!" Ragini ran to him and hugged him as soon as he entered.

He laughed and twirled her around and she giggled loudly.

" Lucky. Yummy food. Come..!! Mumma made very Yummy food. " she dragged him to the dining table and made him sit.

She picked the sandwich from the plate and bring it to his mouth. He smiled and took a bite of it.

"Yummy naa..!! " she asked excited and he nodded. She clapped happily. She took the whole plate and placed in front of him." Eat "

Shejan laughed adoringly to see this." Yes Laksh Beta, Eat. You became so thin doing all the work. " Janki said pouring the juice for him.

" Yes Laksh Beta, Eat. You became so thin doing all the work. " Ragini said copying her mother and he laughed.

" So, now I am your Beta. Not your Lucky? " he asked teasingly and she frowned.

She thought for a moment then said." No, I don't want Laksh Beta. I love my Lucky very much. "

He smiled lovingly and made her sit beside him." Then you have to be a good girl today. "

She looked at him with furrowed eyebrows then said cutely " But Ragu is a good girl, Lucky. "

He tapped her nose little and looked at Shejan who was smiling at their exchange." Yaaa.. My Ragu is a very good girl. So if I said that I will take you to the park tomorrow, will that be okay? "

He asked carefully because he knows that she can be stubborn if she wants." But Lucky promised Ragu for today. "

" Lucky have some work Ragu. Lucky's Mom wants him at home in the evening. "

Her face suddenly got angry." Bad Aunty. She is very bad Aunty. She wants my Lucky. " She hugged Laksh tightly." I will not give my Lucky to anyone. "

She looked at her mother still hugging him." Mom, Ragu will not give her Lucky. "

" Ragu, No one is taking your Lucky. He will be in his house only. He will come back here again. "

" Why can't he live here Mom? " She parted from the hug and said to Laksh"  Ragu wants Lucky to be with her always. " Her eyes glisten with tears.

He wiped her face as soon as the first drop fell out of her big beautiful eyes.

" I am not going anywhere, Ragu. "

" So, Lucky keeps his promise? " she asked with glittery eyes.

" Always. " he said placing a soft kiss on her forehead and she smiled with glossy eyes.
