Just give me a sight that
you care!

Steve stood outside waiting for his friend to arrive, he had called in for a man who was well known in other parts of the world. He had met him back during his days with the howling commandos, and while he has only seen him work once, he was hoping he would live up to the expectations.
He watched the forest looking for any sign of him. He was beginning to get impatient and that was not good. All he wanted to do was rescue his sister and fiance, and everyone was acting as if it was a walk in the park.
"Your Highness!" Steve turned to see Sir Clinton walking toward him. If there was anyone as anxious as Steve it would be him. Clint was not very patient, and he wanted Natasha back, she was his sister. "I don't mean to be rude, however, I need to know if you are actually going to do anything for my sister or do I need to go and do something myself."
"Do you not understand how hard it is to just sit here and wait? We can't just barge in there screaming at Alexei, for two important reasons. One we can hurt Natasha and Wanda, but we also don't know where he is!" Steve yelled letting all his frustration out on Clint, who was not even moved by Steve's words.
"How do you know this man can even help?" Clint asked Steve, "because while you are here wasting time, Natasha and Wanda could be hurt, they could be being tortured, and god knows what horrible things that horrible ass man is putting Natasha through again."
"You don't think I know that! Do you not understand I don't want this just as much as you?!" Steve said the strain was starting to really show in his voice. "I want them both back here but I can't be making an impulsive decision that could get her hurt."
"Well maybe if you were inside making a plan instead of waiting for some man who you don't even know will show up then maybe we would already be there!"
"I wouldn't be too sure about that." This time another voice interrupted their squabbling making the two arguing men look up toward the forest. Before they stood Scott and Hope, unannounced to them, Scott had the necklace in his pocket, the necklace that would bring some hope into Steve's life.
"Scott," Steve let out a sigh of relief before signaling the guards to stand down, as they were watching him with caution. "I am glad you came." He spoke as if he wasn't just yelling five seconds earlier.
"Well of course you are, I bring joy to all of those who come around me," Scott said, earning a slap on his shoulder from Hope. "Oh yeah, this is Hope, my girlfriend she wouldn't let me come alone." He said with a cheesy smirk. Clint rolled his eyes, he didn't need some clown to come in here and make things take even more time. Steve saw this from the corner of his eyes but ignored it.
Steve knew Clint and Natasha have a close-knit relationship, so being on his good side had to be a priority. He could truly say that Natasha brought something into her life that he had never felt before and that made him happy, and he wanted to make her happy. So WHEN he gets her back he will stop at nothing to make her happy every single day. So right now he would play nice.
"We have a lot of work ahead of us Scott," Steve informed urging the two of them to follow him and Clint inside the castle. "We have been searching for them and so far we don't have any clue where they could be," Steve said. "This is a problem because the wedding is for tonight and we don't have any way of stopping it," Steve said.
"Can I ask you a question, your highness?" Hope asked remembering what the voice in the dungeon told him and Scott. "The Princess, her voice could you describe it?" She asked. Scott was confused because he was just going to give Steve the necklace, however, he knew Hope she must have had a plan.
"Her voice? You want me to describe her voice?" He asked. Steve thought this was an odd request but he thought of the way she could possibly answer the question. "Umm, her voice is very low, husky kind of way of speaking. when she speaks it's very modulated and it's just very smoky." Steve smiled just thinking about her voice, it always had a way of trapping whoever she spoke to attention. "Why do you ask?"
"on our way to your castle Hope and I were having a normal everyday argument, and we stopped for a second and that's when she started to speak." Scott started to explain. "She was trying to get on our friendly side." Steve's heart started to race because they might have seen her, they may know who it is. "She tried to tell us she needed you. Now we didn't believe you because it could have been anyone trying to get close to the Prince."
"So you left her there?" Clint asked because if this was Natasha and they left her there he would beyond furious.
"Well we know where she was, and we didn't know if we could believe her. Besides that, she was too far... underground to get out with just the two of us." Scott explained.
"Underground?..." Steve tried going over any possible reason she would be underground. She started to make assumptions. "How do we know if it was her?" Scott started fumbling through his pockets for the necklace. Steve watched closely trying to figure out what he had up his sleeve.
"She told us she was giving you a reminder." Scott held out a chain to the Prince. They now stood in the grand hall around his parents, Natasha's parents and the kings and queens he invited over.
Steve was silent as he reached out gripping the necklace in his shaky hands. His thumb ran over the necklace imprint and a small smile crept on his face. She was alive and she was giving him a sign. He could save her.
"I gave this to her." He said closing his eyes. "She is alive." He spoke softly just dreaming of the time where he would be able to hold her close to his body. He knew that this was all a sign, a sign that it would all get better.
"Steve?" James said trying to pull Steve out of his trance. Steve put the necklace around his neck and turned.
"Scott go with James start scouting out the map. We leave in one hour. When we get there no one will hesitate to get the both of them back. I want Alexei found, do not kill him, I want that for myself."
Everyone was looking at Steve shocked by his words. He would never volunteer to kill. This was not the Steve that everyone knew him as. He now had a dark look in his eyes, full of determination and revenge. But no matter what happens out there they wouldn't all come back.
