The Boar Goes To School
Emily's POV;
I rushed down the hallway of our modest home, it was small, not to shabby, though the paint needed work. I scolded myself for getting distracted, I was going to be late for my first day of school!
I grit my teeth and almost ran into the wall, my mother laughed at my predicament, my father hiding his chuckles behind his coffee mug. I glared at them before jolting to attention,
"Mom-" I demanded, however my mom cut me off "Yes, it is on the table beside you." she pointed to the marble counter, I blushed in embarrassment and picked up my lunch off the counter.
I nodded to my parents as I stuffed my sock-covered feet into my boots, I was wearing the common uniform, It was a white blouse, red tie (the zipper kind thankfully) and a black skirt. The school store purposefully kept a sweater or blazer out of the equation so we had to buy the overpriced jackets the school sold. I chuckled as the excitement of the first day to school got to me, I couldn't wait to try out for a sports club!
My tanned hands shoved the door out of my way as quickly as possible, which was pretty quickly, I was strong after all. I looked around, there were multiple students looking at me like I rode into school on a rhinoceros. I laughed out loud at the thought, earning more wary stares.
"I wouldn't recommend making a bad impression on the first day," a delicate and feminine voice called out monotonously. I spun on my heel, I hadn't been able to tell anyone was behind me. I saw a short girl with long hair that was white in colour, it hung down to her hips, her lilac eyes betrayed no emotion, I couldn't read a thing about her!
I stared ( like an idiot- HEY! ) at the smaller girl, she had a gray long-sleeved sweater wrapped around her small frame. I was shocked, it was like looking at a ghost, especially with how she looked as if not a hair was out of place.
I opened my mouth, no sound came out "Could you please move." the girl asked ( stated? ) politely. I nodded, hurriedly getting out of her way, I could sense things- ok, let's not make assumptions, I had very accurate hunches and my hunch was that this girl was dangerous. Sure, it made no sense, she was so short and delicate looking but somehow I just... knew.
I felt the urge to calm down after that, I felt like I just narrowly dodged a bullet. I made my way to the bathroom, thankfully I had four minutes until I needed to be in class, as a bonus my classroom is near the entrance!
I looked in the old mirror, staring at my tan face, short brown hair which was held up by an orange headband. When I was younger I was always teased for having short hair, seeing as some of the boys in my class had longer hair. I always thought long hair was inconvenient for sports, so I never grew it out. I rested my weight on the sinks,
Just who was that girl?
