Chapter Five: Lucas's New Friend
Lucas groaned as he woke to his alarm. He and the others had been officially initiated into the pack... well... except Luna. Since no one knew her real name she couldn't become an official member without mating a member. Luckily she had Kale, but they wanted to take things slow. Meaning no marking just yet. Sent marking? Yes. Actual claim marking? No.
The whole pack knew she was his mate though and that was enough.
Lucas was not so sure about all this. He knew he was safer traveling with someone who could protect him, but at least he was under protection from the Alpha and Beta families. He still wasn't sure what to do. Omega males though as rare as male calico cat were always born either gay or bisexual. He fell under the gay category just like his big brother. This also means that he might never find his mate.
He looked to his blaring alarm and turned it off. Just then a knock sounded at his door. "Uncle Lucas! Time to get up! We start school today!" Came Silver's voice. He just groaned. Now he regretted joining the pack. Why did they have to send him and his niece and nephews to school? Why? He really missed the nomad life now.
He got up though and trudged his way to the breakfast table after getting ready. He had thrown on some dark wash jeans with their knees ripped out, a plain red v-neck, a black hoodie, a black and red snap back on backwards with his bangs poking though the gap the snap leaves, and some black sneakers. His golden blond hair was left uncombed and his grey eyes looked dull from grogginess.
Luna looked to her baby brother with worry. "You okay there Lucas? I've never seen you this tired." Lucas grunts. "Had trouble sleeping. The bed is to comfy. I'm not used to it." He explains and Kale chuckles. "I don't think I've ever heard that before. To comfy to sleep? What are you used to?"
Lucas grunted in response and started to eat. Luna sighed and Luka frowned at his little brother.
Kale drove The twins and Kade while Delton drove Clayton and Lucas to their new schools.
Lucas walked into his new high school and looked around. He couldn't figure out for the life of him where the office was. There was no office. Just lockers and classrooms.
He wandered aimlessly while looking around. He knew asking someone for help w and would be the best option but he'd never really interacted with anyone outside of his family before unless buying something. The pack wolves kinda scared him, but he didn't really want to talk to a human either. He was lost and alone. Dalton had dropped him off, but couldn't walk him in since the current Beta, Dalton's dad, called for him.
A little after the first bell and the halls cleared he ran into someone while turning a corner. Both groaned and he looked to the person. On the floor on their ass sat a pretty little someone. This person had long curly black hair in a ponytail and soft green eyes paired with porcelain skin. This new person wore a pink dress that had a white skirt with pink flowers and a little white belt across the middle.
Lucas helped the stranger up. Noting their very flat chest. "I'm so sorry, I should really pay more attention." He let out and the person shook their head. "No, no. My fault. I usually do." They said, but with a rather deep voice. Still feminine, but... as if it was on the cusp of gender neutral. "Lucas, by the way." He said and the stranger smiled. "Charlie."
Charlie happily showed Lucas that the office was in the back of the school on the top floor. Lucas was confused, but all that lead to was Charlie telling jokes about how stupid the people who designed the place must have been. Lucas couldn't agree more.
Lucas got his new schedule and a school map then let Charlie lead him to his homeroom. Outside the door Charlie turned to him. "I've got to use the bathroom. Why don't you go on in. Since your new and today is literally your first day the teacher should go easy on you." Charlie then proceeded to walk away.
Lucas walked in and up to the teacher. "Mam? I am the new student? Lucas." He let out and the Teacher smiled. "Ah, Mr. Dracula." She said and Lucas did a double take. "Dracula? What does your Email say about me?" He asked and she said that's the name she was given so he asked to see the email then face palmed after he did. "Mam.... They spelled it wrong. It's D R O C K E U L E. Drockeule, not Dracula." He explained with a beat red face as the kids in the class started snickering.
After introducing himself to the class he took a seat in the back and not long after, Charlie walked in. "Sorry Mrs. Baker. I woke up late." Was the excuse given and Mrs. Baker smiled. "No worries Charlie." She said before telling the student to sit. Charlie did so and Lucas found himself sitting next to his dear new friend.
"Hey, Charlie. Glad to know we're in the same class." He said with a smile and Charlie frowned. "Trust me, you don't want to be my friend." Came from Charlie as a guy infront of Lucas snickered. "Yeah, ya don't want to get close to that perv." He said and Lucas became confused. "How is Charlie a pervert? She seems fine to me." He said and the guy snickered. "Dude, Charlie is a Ladyboy! You know, some dumbass crossdresser." He explained and Lucas looked to Charlie. "You're a dude?" He asked and Charlie nodded. "Cool. Your a really good trap." He said and the guy infront of him gapped.
"Dude!" Said the guy in protest, but Lucas looked to him. "What? I'm gay. He likes dresses like a girl and I'm into guys like a girl. Does that make me a Ladyboy to? 'Cus it sounds fun!" He said and the guy went quite.
Charlie smiled at him and he smiled back. Lucas ended up spending the day with Charlie and found they had a lot of the same classes. This surprised him, but in a happy way.
