Author's note Merry Christmas everyone! I'm sorry for not being able to update this story for a year right now...I hope this Christmas special can make up for the lost time I had, and especially with the fact that I never made a Christmas styled story before, I hope I do really well with this story

Also for a heads up to the readers reading this Christmas special to clear some confusion, this Christmas special of firebird takes place outside etc main timeline of this fan fiction, and I won't be adapting the mlaatr special "a Robot for all seasons" mainly because I found the episode premise with Todd Sweeney brainwashing Jenny to destroy all the holiday and have everyone in Tremorton including her mother and creator try to kill her, insanely mean spirited, and I wish there was someway to combat the prejudice Jenny goes through everyday in tremorton just for being different, for being a robot teenager with a heart and soul (I respect your opinions on the special, make no mistake but please understand)

In this Christmas special of a mlaatr fan fiction, I'll do this my way

Date Christmas Day, December 25th, 2014

Location The Wakeman Residence

Time 3:35 PM

It was Christmas Day afternoon at the Wakeman residence which had been festively decorated for this wonderful occasion, everyone had been handing out their gifts for the past few hours after waking up on Christmas morning, on the aftermath of the holy night, Jenny and her sisters had already exchanged their gifts prior to right now, with trying to Quell XJ-6's innate jealousy of course, after lunch, Jenny had invited her friends, Tyler and the carbuncle siblings over to her house to not only to exchange gifts but to also celebrate Christmas as well,

And as for the Bullying and Fashionable crust cousins, on Christmas morning, they had gotten a near mountain load of coal for their prideful and narcissistic behavior towards Jenny and all those the crust cousins looked down on, with a note saying "please be nicer next year, and do not judge others by their appearances or by shape, but by their hearts" to which the evil curst cousins' reply was to bawl their eyes out and whine, even though it was their own fault they had gotten coal and it had gotten all over their faces and their precious dresses and may get even worse then that if they fail to heed this warning left by this note when next Christmas comes around for them...

(Author's note Serves those two crust cousins right)

Right now Tyler, brad and tuck were marching through the snow as they brave the medium snowstorm wearing heavy winter gear with their scarfs dangling in the wind outside the door of the wakeman residence when they knocked on the door, a minute later, Jenny opened the door to answer with her creator/mother dr. Wakeman,

"Merry Christmas Jenny!" Greeted the trio of friends waving at Jenny,

"Aw merry Christmas to you too guys!" Nodded Jenny with an endearing smile "I'm very glad you guys could come to my house to celebrate today, I thought no one else would..."

"Well don't worry about that Jenny" quipped brad "we're here now and that's what matters"

"They're right my child" nodded dr. Wakeman who had still been working on stopping calling Jenny XJ-9, and treating her as sentient being, along with her prototype sisters, however even still, dr. Wakeman was still racked with guilt at how she failed all of them as a mother, she still hopes to redeem herself in their eyes one day, perhaps next year even "how don't you boys come on inside, it must be very cold out there"

"You're telling us, dr. Wakeman" shivered tuck who held his arms and walked on inside with brad and Tyler in tow

Once inside the house, Jenny promptly closed the door, to prevent anymore cold air and snow coming in, lest the heat generator overloads and destroys the Wakeman residence with a potentially nuclear mushroom cloud explosion

Everyone then sat down on the couch and laid down their gifts on the table, each carrying a different shape and present inside them, while Jenny and her mother both sat down in their representative chairs facing Tyler and company next to them was a medium sized but modest Christmas tree, with beautiful decorations, consisting of golden ribbons, heavy snowy accents on the branches, ornaments with the colors of Blue, white, gold, purple and red, but there were also two sets ornaments that were fitted a theme with each other, all nine of the XJ-Sisters, and an ornament with a artistic picture of Jenny and firebird fighting alongside each other

"Now that is a Christmas tree!" Commented Tyler as he and his friends looked upon to the tree crafted by Jenny and her family in awe

"Aww thank you Tyler!" Blushed Jenny "my mother and my sisters helped me work on it, and it looks beautiful!"

"It was the least I could do to at least atone for my unsavory actions toward you and my other children Jenny" replied dr. Wakeman who still sought redemption for her past sins against the family she had created through technology and science

"Well we appreciate it nonetheless Dr Wakeman" spoke Tyler "and besides, now is not the time to think about our bad blood..."

"Yeah! Now's the time to get together and celebrate!" Nodded brad "so how are you and your family this Christmas Day Jen?"

"We're doing pretty good brad, thank you for asking!" Smiled Jenny "although, XJ-6 was pretty jealous of it all though"

"Well we know her" spoke Tyler "but she better watch out that that jealousy of hers does not get her a lump of coal"

"You got that right" nodded Jenny "how are you all?"

"We're doing pretty good this Christmas Day as a matter of fact!" Said Tyler "we're very glad to be here Jenny to celebrate Christmas with you all"

"The feeling is mutual young man" nodded dr. Wakeman, to think some time ago, she would have them promptly kicked out for an obsessive need for secrecy, but now, they not only helped Jenny a great deal, they also changed the whole family for the better despite the fact that progress will still take quite some time now

"So, what have you guys brought me for Christmas?" Asked Jenny, now ready to receive her gifts now that the pleasantries are out of the way

"Oh yeah! That" piped up Tyler as he then presented his two wrapped gifts, which were small holiday themed bags, one had snow, and snowmen on it, and the other bag had a Christmas tree design on it

Brad and tuck, seeing their cue also presented their gifts, one is also wrapped in a holiday bag that was reindeer themed, namely Rudolph, and the other, a rectangular shaped one, themed after Santa Claus

"Before we passed them to you Jenny" said Tyler "let me tell you, it was not easy trying to find a gift to give you, especially when you basically have an arsenal and everything you could ever need at the tips of your fingers...but we think you'll love these nonetheless"

"Hey it's alright Tyler" said Jenny "you and the others being here is a Christmas gift to me"

"Thank you very much Jenny" said Tyler with a grateful smiles "now then, go ahead with our presents, rip and tear!"

Jenny nodded as she opened the first of Tyler's presents first, she opened up the bag, to reveal a humanoid miniature sculpture of Jenny the size of a person's hand, and it felt like it was constructed out of pottery clay, and it had all the right colors that match jenny's own

"Is this a figure of me?" Said Jenny with pleasant surprise

"Yep, a pottery clay sculpture of you Jenny" explained Tyler "crafted during art class a week ago, if you recall we had a special class in which we had to make pottery clay sculptures so that they will be hardened"

"AWWWWWW!" Squealed Jenny "I love it! Thank you Tyler!"

"Your very welcome Jenny" said Tyler "to be fair, I had to have some help from our art teacher and from our friends"

"We were just glad we could help Tyler" nodded brad

"I appreciate it nonetheless brad," said Tyler "but I think you should see the other gift I made for you!"

"Alright!" Said Jenny as she went for the other small bag

Jenny opened Tyler's second present to reveal a fist sized pottery clay sculpture of firebird's symbol, Phoenix shaped with wings spread and it also had the right color of cyan blue

"You even made a clay sculpture of firebird's symbol?" Spoke Jenny as she enjoyed both of her gifts made by Tyler during art class with what little time everyone had

"I sure did Jenny" said Tyler "I figured I would use what I was taught in the pottery class section in art class to make one more gift for you!"

"I very much appreciate it Tyler!" Said Jenny "you're a great artist"

"Thank you Jenny, and merry Christmas!" said Tyler "I was just using what I was taught!"

"I'll say, they taught you well" said brad who chuckled as he then passed his present to Jenny "now is my turn Jenny I hope you like my gift, for what I'm kinda worth to you guys anyway..."

"Brad, buddy, don't say that about yourself" said Jenny trying to comfort brad due to his sense of worth being based around adventure and being able to do the exact same extraordinary things his friends are able to do unlike him and tuck "you're worth everything to us, I appreciate any gift you give me and your time here on Christmas"

"Jenny's right brad" said Tyler "and please don't compare yourself to me, or Jenny I go through the same kind of problems everyday, but today is not the time for that kind of stuff"

"No young man" added dr. Wakeman "now is the time to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year as an extended family!"

"Thanks you guys" said brad who smiled, his spirits regained "okay Jenny go ahead"

"Thank you brad" nodded jenny as as he unwrapped her present

When Jenny opened her first gift from brad it revealed itself to be a large silver steel-titanium cup with a white circle in the front view of the coup branded in blue words with a symbol in the middle matching jenny's head saying "World's Greatest Teenage Robot Girl With A Human Heart And Soul Of Gold" around the circle, and there was another symbol in the back of the cup showcasing Jenny, Tyler, brad, tuck, dr. Wakeman, the XJ sisters and firebird on it with his symbol in the background

"Awww! Brad I love this!!" Cried Jenny, touched by both the simple but affectionate gift and comforting words on the cup "thank you so very much!!"

"You're very welcome Jenny!" replied brad "and I also made sure to bring along some stickers of those two logos, you'll find them inside the bag as well"

And when Jenny, she found her friend spoke the truth, there were the large stickers that were the same branding on the cup that she holds in her hands

"Aw thank you again brad! I would love to wear these stickers!" Said Jenny

"Oh I could work on applying those logos on your armor Jenny" cooed dr. Wakeman, making a mental note to apply replications of those stickers on jenny's armor and outfit in the future after Christmas and new year's

"That's a great idea doc!" Called tuck

"By the way Jenny," said brad as he presented another small gift in Christmas tree wrapping around it "I hope you like my second gift"

The young teenage robot with a heart took the gift out of brad's hands and opened it, revealing three Crystal Necklaces, A Medium Sized Gemstone Heart made of Lapis Lazuli, another gemstone heart made of Amethyst, and the last gemstone heart was made of Blue Diamond, they were all hanging by a thick black thread

"Oh I love these necklaces!" Said Jenny as she looked at each of them in her hand and admired them "and I really like the gemstones that their made from! Thank you again brad!"

"You're very welcome Jenny!" Said brad "and I figured the crystals' special powers could help you out!"

"Wait, they have powers?" Asked Jenny who looked at the three heart shaped crystals again

"Well, that's what the store I bought them from said that," shrugged brad with his shoulders and hands up "they seem to help people out emotionally and mentally, I'm not too sure, but I figured they could really help you regardless, that's all I know"

"Well I appreciate the Christmas gift nonetheless brad" smiled Jenny as she hardly knew which necklace to put on first

"You're welcome Jenny, merry Christmas" said brad who felt proud of himself now

"Okay! It's my turn now" said tuck who then went up with his present that was wrapped in santa themed gift wrapping with the rectangular shape "I got a gift for you Jenny, my Christmas heroes!"

"Aww! Thank you tuck" cooed Jenny as she took the present in her hands from her young cowardly, but faithful friend

"Same here tuck" replied Tyler from the side

Jenny then took the gift from tucks hands and she eagerly opened it to reveal a simple drawing of Jenny, her family, her friends and firebird with words scribbled "to my heroes and family" with a black and silver frame with a built-in glass window on it, it was made during tuck's elementary school, during the art class

"Awww! Tuck! You guys are the best!" Cried Jenny as she enjoyed the hand-drawn picture of the gang who are the heroes of earth who went on to hug tuck for a little bit while being careful of her strength

"You're welcome Jenny!" Cried tuck who was muffled

"And remember young man" said dr. Wakeman "Christmas was never about getting presents or what you want at all, it is about friends and family getting together regardless of their differences"

"Thank you dr. Wakeman" nodded tuck "I'll do my best to remember"

"Please do remember that lesson well tuck" spoke Tyler sternly "I was far from innocent when I was your age, greedy, needy, thought I could get anything I wanted if I was nice enough...turns out I was wrong...and I learned that the hard way..."

"You got in trouble?" Asked Brad a bit curiously "when was all that?"

"Yes, several times during a few Christmases ago...." Sighed Tyler with sorrow, even though he had paid for his young aged greed back then, he still felt remorse over the consequences of his actions "I asked for expensive things back then...and tried to be as nice as possible to get them...I paid the price for my greed with scoldings and yelling from my family, I regretted my selfishness but these days, I still hear those yelling ringing in my ever thick skull...in my head!..."

"Well that's in the past now young man" said dr. Wakeman "and remember that nowadays you're a changed man as you get older and older"

"Thank you dr. Wakeman, I appreciate the advice" said Tyler as he nodded

As the group of friends continued their conversion, tyler and brad's eyes caught something, it was a framed picture hanging on board hanging on the left side wall of the room, the picture contained firebird, Jenny, their friends and the people of tremorton wearing their festive outfits while standing behind a gigantic Christmas tree that shined in the midst of the holy night, it was the result of the heroes participating in an annual Christmas tree lighting event at tremorton one night,

"I see you guys managed to frame that moment" smiled Tyler as he looked at the picture that he and company worked so hard to create that night, one that had been many days in the making...

"Yeah! We worked so hard to make that happen after all!" Added brad beside Tyler, now his attention fully focused on the picture beside them

"You can say that again!" Smiled Jenny as she also looked at the framed photo of that Christmas themed event "and mom and I can remember so well, as I'm sure the rest of you can..."

Jenny stared at the photo with a smile as her Cybernetic Memory bank recalled the events that occurred 14 days ago this December 2014 that made this picture possible....

Flashback 14 days ago...

Date December 11th 2014

Time 6:34pm

At the first few days of December 2014 in the subtly downridden city of tremorton A spiritual Christmas truce filled the hearts of many of the people of tremorton where the spirit of Christmas helped them put aside their prejudice against Jenny aside to not only help her feel belonged, but to also wish her a merry Christmas, of course not all of the people of tremorton had that spirit of Christmas within them, particularly the crust cousins who were as unrepentant as ever, for the two devils in fashionable clothing

The heroes of earth then learned of a Christmas event going on in the center of tremorton, an annual Christmas tree lighting and the news reported that the masterminds behind the event would like Jenny and firebird to participate, in sympathy of their plight by Tremorton's lack of respect or appreciation for the two high tech heroes, wanting to show support and appreciation for their efforts, and remind Jenny and firebird that they are still people to them, regardless of those who believed otherwise due to prejudice or fear of what is beyond their control

A temporary santa clause themed redesign for firebird and Jenny was in order to help participate at the annual Christmas tree light at the center of tremorton near city hall, to aid the heroes with their self-imposed task, dr. Wakeman made a call to skyway patrol, James Hawkins eventually agreed to provide dr. Wakeman and her friends the nessacary manpower needed to complete this festive holiday makeover of firebird in time

Jenny was also given the same festive treatment as well by dr. Wakeman,

The process lasted from December 6th to 5 days total, but eventually, the festive repaint and retooling for firebird and Jenny were complete, they each looked like Mr and ms Santa Clauses with firebird sporting reindeer horns, and a red light-up nose and the cyan power spots on firebird's body replaced with light green, including the eyes, and Jenny was given a ms clause paint job and Santa-like skirt to complete the make up

On the day of the annual lighting, the people of tremorton were overjoyed when they felt giant mechanical footsteps, accompanied by jet thrusters that were drowned out by the footsteps, for they knew it was Jenny and firebird the two robotic heroes of the city, with firebird carrying what appears to be a giant sack, firebird and Jenny then took their position in the picture of the Christmas tree lighting with firebird standing at the Sid behind the Christmas tree, with only the top of it reaching his chin, while the blue gladiator wave a giant mechanical hand, while Jenny flew down to stand with the pope of tremorton who smiled and wave at the camera as the snow rained down and everyone shouted "MERRY CHRISTMAS!!" Before the camera flashed and caught the picture as everyone was glad firebird and Jenny could participate in this generous holiday event

Date December 25th 2014

Location the wakeman residence

Time 3:43 pm

Back in present time, Tyler looked at the picture fondly as his flashbacks ended for now

"Man that was a fun time..." sigh Tyler happily as he still recalled the tremendous effort of getting everything and everyone ready "but we were barely able to get everything ready...."

"Yeah but we did it, that's what matters" replied brad "but yeah it was a close one"

"Indeed young carbuncle" agreed dr. Wakeman "next year, what say we do these festive makeover setups before the end of November?"

"That would certainly make things easier dr. Wakeman" said tuck who then pointed at the picture again "but I don't think anything could replace this"

"Neither do I tuck, neither do I" agreed Tyler

"Now then everyone" Dr. Wakeman spoke up "now that you have presented your gifts to us, now how about we present our gifts to you"

"We would appreciate it dr. Wakeman!" Said Tyler who he and his two friends then faced the mother and daughter duo properly

"Okay! Here are mom and i's Christmas gifts for all of you" said Jenny excitedly as she and dr. Wakeman handed out seven gifts, three for Tyler, and two for brad and tuck, they were each wrapped in various holiday themed wrappings, and like the other gifts from before, had different shapes

"Tyler, you may go first" said Jenny sweetly as she pointed to the three gifts for Tyler in front of him

"Thank you Jenny!" Nodded Tyler who then took the first of his gifts, which had a large rectangular shape with dark blue wrappings, with blue Pheonix symbols on it, with snow in the backgrounds with a sticker that said "To: Tyler From: Jenny Wakeman"

The young hero then started to open his first gift, ripping and tearing through the wrapping until he sees a custom crafted toy set package that showed a big action figure version of his Mecha alter ego firebird, that boasted 45 points of articulation that covered the whole body, transformed or otherwise, from the feet, the hands and the rest of the body, and was fully transformable form the normal three vehicle modes (Scout jet, Fire Tanker, and Fire Speeder), the combined fire jet mode and Normal Humanoid Robot Mode, contained 20 electronic lights and sounds, the two arms could fire and retouch to create the fire punch attack he would always perform, the cyan blue parts of firebird could light up especially the eyes, and contained the accessories for firebird's weapons four copies of his sword raijin ken (two that are normal, and two where the blade itself looked alight with fire and electrical-like blue energy but both pairs could attach for double bladed action) his fire shield, (including attentional weapons that might one day be a part of firebird for real, there were two double bladed throwable tomahawks, called "Fire Tomahawks" a long double bladed Trident Spear (Fire Javelin) two Hanguns, (fire magnums) and two assault rifles (hawk rifles) )

On the back of the custom toy package showcases' all of firebird's toy replica's features and abilities, and it showed there was even a display base for the giant robot toy with firebird's blue Pheonix symbol on the back as a light up stand in, including two Black shadowy humanoid figures in the bottom right corner of the box saying "coming soon" and the figure itself had strong durable plastic so it wouldn't break easily

Tyler couldn't help but marvel at this mesmerizing toy replication of firebird, and also felt quite odd to be given a toy version of his superhero self on Christmas including having extra weapons he doesn't normally have, but he wasn't complaining,

"A toy version...of me?" Asked Tyler in awe and confusion "I don't really be to be needy or greedy or anything but..."

"In a manner of speaking yes, Jenny and I made it ourselves" said dr. Wakeman "I believed you deserved to have a toy figure of my creation, for being so good with it, alongside my little girl"

Then dr. Wakeman turned her head a bit, with a small blush on her face

"And to tell you the truth" she said "part of me always wanted to be a toy maker..."

"...so have I when I was a kid" said Tyler with a slowly growing smile "maybe you could teach me someday? If you were able to make a toy-like replica of firebird for Christmas"

"I would be more than proud to young man" accepted dr. Wakeman "now you may open your other two gifts"

Tyler nodded and opened his two other gifts, one was a toy figurine of Jenny that was 1/24 7 inches tall, overtaking the toy version of firebird, but had jenny's many weapon and gadget accessories to boot, including interchangeable arms, boots, and back, and also contained 20 electronic lights and sounds Tyler really liked how much bigger this toy version of Jenny was compared to firebird's toy replica and the back of the package came with a plastic toy replica of firebird's sword raijin ken with electronic lights and sounds as well with some that are motion activated, as well as button activated which Tyler could play with when he's not fighting as the blue gladiator himself

The young hero then finished his gift opening with a playset that looked like the town of tremorton, and had 5 articulated toy versions of cluster super robots with vexus, smytus and their cluster drone minions of which the heroes have defeated in the past, and the playmate with even foldable as well for better transportation, and a storage unit to store both firebird and jenny's toy replicas inside including their enemies , the custom playlet even came with a bonus firebird symbol emblem with engravings in the center saying "for my friends who always believed in me wether I am a robot or a normal teenager"

"Thank you guys very much for these gifts!" Cried Tyler "you guys are the best!"

"You're very welcome young man, and merry Christmas!" Replied dr. Wakeman

"Time for my gifts!" Said brad as he tore up the two Christmas gifts

The first one brad opened up was a new iPhone for him to use and had a special frequency in which he can use to reach Jenny wether to talk to her, or let her know danger has struck

And the second Christmas gift for brad was a new notepad which also doubles as a sketchpad which he can use for school

"I really love these gifts!" Said brad excitedly, "thank you so very much! These will be so great to have at school"

"I'm very sure they will young man" said dr. Wakeman

"I'm very glad you liked our gifts brad" smiled Jenny "and now lastly tuck you may go ahead and open your gifts"

"Alrighty!" Smiled tuck as he grabbed the last two presents that are presented, one was shaped like a rectangle again, and one was shaped like a hexagon

The second to last Christmas gift that tuck opened was again another custom toy package but it was role-play set, complete with toy versions of firebird's sword and shield, two of jenny's rifles, had Tyler's wrist device, a winged jetpack with resembled the scout jet on firebird's back and had two electronic walkie talkies, tuck really enjoyed this gift

And then the last Christmas gift that was opened by tuck, was a 10-pack of baseballs, with a baseball bat to go with it, this gift remained tuck of how all the groups adventures began that day with a baseball game accident...

"Wow! This sure does bring back pleasant memories!" Said tuck who barely recalled the beginning of all of their adventures with the ultimate teenage robot girl with a heart, and his giant robot companion "which were quite scary at first..."

"Well, look where we are now!" Chuckled brad as he waved out his hands out to everyone around them

"Yeah, I'm still very glad I met you guys" smiled Jenny

"I concur, my child" said dr. Wakeman "If you wonderful young men had not come into our lives...who knows what would have become of our family then?"

"That's one future I would rather not see" said Tyler "this rare for me to say but, let's be glad things worked out as they did now!"

"Absolutely!" Said Jenny who then looked at Tyler and company with an idea in her mind "maybe next year after Christmas is over, we could all have a game of base ball like old times?"

"We'd love to Jenny!" Said tuck

"But maybe somewhere where's there's no windows to break?" Said brad with a squint, remembering the last time they had a baseball game

"Agreed" said Tyler "but right now, let's enjoy our time together with our families and our gifts we've given each other!"

"I'm with you man!" Said brad with a smile

"My thoughts exactly!" Cheered Jenny

"Would you all like to stay a while longer to have some Christmas dinner with us?" Invited dr. Wakeman

"Yeah!!" agreed the group of friends "and merry Christmas!!"

And so the Wakeman family and their friends all stayed the night to eat a hearty feast of Christmas dinner, while continuing to reflect on the good memories they made, and not about Tremorton's persistent prejudice and ungratefulness, though it may bite the city in the rear back one day, and after eating and loading up their gifts, everyone went back home for the night, and to dream about what might happen on their next Christmas next year if they are able to stay alive to get together...but for now, farewell Santa Claus! Until next year on the holy night!

"MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Cheered everyone on their beds at home before quietly scumming to the sleep of ever-growing wonders...

Merry Christmas 2023!

Author's note I hope you all have enjoyed this short, simple but effective Christmas special gift I've constructed for this fanficiton, this took several days to make, but man was it worth it, and I hope you all enjoy this Christmas gift, and again, I'm terribly sorry for not updating on this story all year...I've been busy with life, other projects, and a lack of motivation from a lack of support (that's what I feel anyway) but I really hope you all liked this Christmas special for this Mlaatr fanfiction with no adaption from the episode "robot for all seasons" again I found that Christmas special incredibly mean-spirited due to Todd sweedny's manipulations and assault on Santa clause at the North Pole despite his change of heart and Tremorton's utter INCOMPETENCE in not realizing Jenny would not do these things on her own free will (even though she's known to be detrimentally reckless)

I hope you all have a great Christmas, and always remember, this wonderful season was never about getting what you want, it was always about getting together with friends and family no matter the circumstances, I learned this the hard way when I was younger, let's hope we all learn this painful but important lesson too!
