Planet Earth
Location Wakeman Residence
One cold, lonesome night in her room while asleep in her bedroom, Jenny Wakeman, still haunted by the revelation of Dr. Wakeman's prideful obliviousness to her creations' sentience, has had frequent nightmares about the whole ordeal, although they had their reconciliation.
This includes the fear of being replaced just like her sisters were, despite the fact Jenny made her mother promise her daughter and her children she wouldn't do it again.
Inside the teenage robot with a heart-of-gold mind, she had just one of those nightmares again tonight, which shows the same fears of what might happen to her if Dr. Wakeman breaks her promise to her and her children.
Jenny was walking to Tremonton High on foot under her power, even though she could fly to the front entrance of the infamous school quickly.
"lookie here! It's xj-nightmare!" teased one of the students sporting a sleazy glare at poor Jenny as she admittedly hated entering the school grounds, which she was growing to hate.
"yeah! Let's all laugh at her!" a girl teased. "It's so much fun when we laugh at a misfit,"
"and she's not human and will never be a normal teenage girl either," sneered a familiar voice with evil glee.
Jenny, trying to get away from those insults, started to run across the hallways to her class, but before she could open the door to her class,
"You're not going anywhere, XJ9," spoke a voice at the edge of the hallways.
The crust cousins then appeared in the halls, marching toward Jenny maliciously. With crowds of school students kneeling before them, talking about them, and worshiping them
"brit! Tiff!" cried Jenny. "What are you doing here?"
"Why do you want to show you who the best girls in town are? Of course," scoffed Tiff, "you are not the best girl in town."
"Please! Why do you hate me!? I just wanted to have friends!" pleaded Jenny with emotion. "I just wanted to be friends with you! Especially when I protected you when I first enrolled here!"
Sadly, like most people, naive Jenny had been hanging out with the VERY wrong crowd.
"Well, don't you know who you are?" laughed Tiff. "We'll tell you who you really are!"
"A freak! That's what you always will be! A robot freak who can never truly be human like us!" taunted Brit Crust, expressing Jenny's negative emotions of fearing she'll never accomplish her dream.
The ingrates of Tremonton began their laughter and prejudice. Then, it escalated to ruthless violence.
"to prevent this from happening, XJ9," said vexus' voice, "you must join me and KILL THEM ALL!!"
"no! I'm not like you, vexus, and I never will be!!" cried Jenny as she fled from Tremonton High School to her home, the Wakeman residence, while being chased by Skyway patrol, hoping to seek protection from Dr. Wakeman, despite what she did
"Mom! Mom!" said Jenny as she entered her home to find Dr. Wakeman working in her lab as always, but she was near a curtain of some sort. "Mom! You have to help me!"
"help? You?" sneered Dr. Wakeman. "My disposable creation?"
Jenny could see her prototype sisters' destroyed and rusted remains, having faced destruction by Dr. Wakeman, and now Jenny feared she would be next.
"And I have decided that you are no longer useful," scowled Dr. Wakeman with an almost sadistic smile as she pulled a rope, unveiling a curtain. "Allow me to introduce you and Tyler's replacement."
The curtain flung up to reveal a newer robot titled XJ10, which looked triangular and sleeker but still humanoid. She had more of a human-like design with platinum-like coloring of blue, violet, and gold accents, almost rainbow-colored even. She also had ovoid/Diamond-shaped eyes with circular pupils, and she stood to be double Jenny's size.
"This is your superior replacement XJ10." Dr. Wakeman introduced her. She's designed to be an adaptive model capable of improving from any flaws and is far superior to you, your sisters, and Firebird! And now to activate her."
"Mom! No! No!!" Cried Jenny, tears of oil spilling from her eyes
But her pleas fell on deaf ears as the lever to activate her was pulled by Dr. Wakeman; XJ10 Activated as her eyes powered up. She suddenly began to grow in size with stretching, rumbling, and creaking metal sounds as the new robot grew more extensive, with Jenny staring in horror until the nightmarish interpretation of the possible XJ10 bursted through the roof of the house.
Debris fell everywhere on Jenny and Dr. Wakeman, but she wasn't fazed at all as XJ10 increased in size.
Then, multiple people surrounded Jenny, laughing and throwing random objects, and eventually, skyway patrol joined them and pointed guns at her.
"men! On my mark, shoot to kill! Without pity! Or remorse! Or fear!" cried James Hawkins as he ordered his men to commit police brutality without remorse. "she has no right to be a superhero! No one does anymore! No one replaces or surpasses us, the skyway patrol!!"
As they did this, XJ10 continued to grow bigger, surpassing the giant blue gladiator firebird's size of 45 ft at 500ft tall as XJ10's ovoid/diamond-shaped eyes flashed scarlet red.
"whoa!! She keeps growing!" cried one of the kids participating in the sadistic prejudice in excitement,
"how big is XJ10 going to get!?" said another teenager in excitement, really enjoying XJ10's growth into a gigantic android.
"as long as this Robo twerp dies in the dirt forgotten and unremembered, it really doesn't matter!" announced Tiff Crust.
"students, I hereby say, XJ9 is no longer wanted or needed here ever again!" cried principal Rezenzeki, the JJ Jameson of Tremerton (author's note: I hate that guy seriously)
"yeah! Let's kill her!! " said Pteresa greed fueled best friend and accomplice of the crust cousins.
The crust cousins then started throwing pieces of jewelry and many fashion dresses at Jenny.
"kill! Kill! Kill! Kill!" cited the angry mob with their improvised weaponry as they attacked Jenny.
"FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!" ordered James Hawkins, firing his pistol at Jenny in the head, dealing a dent in her forehead
The Skyway patrol officers fired upon Jenny, with the teenage robot turning to fight back, but were overwhelmed quickly as she fell to the ground again, nearly dead. Full of laser and bullet holes and dents.
As the prejudiced citizens ceased their assault, Dr. Wakeman looked at her daughter one last time and then placed her hand on another switch.
"Your time is over, XJ9. Goodbye forever!"
As Dr. Wakeman threw the switch, Jenny's body began to rust and break apart into pieces.
"NO!! Please don't do this!!" Pleaded Jenny, but alas, her pleas fell on deaf ears
Jenny then saw from the barely visible sky that XJ10's stature and she started to raise a gigantic metal boot on poor Jenny Wakeman,
"Mom! Please!! Please!! PLEEEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSEEEE!!!!"

Jenny woke up with a start, a shout, and a scare as she breathed heavily. She was fully intact and functional in her bedroom but very afraid, the crisp orange and yellow morning light shining in her bedroom window
Jenny breathed a sigh of relief as she realized it was all a nightmare, as she raised her head towards her bedroom's roof.
"*sigh*...just a dream..." breathed Jenny as she slipped out from her bed covers and went downstairs, but she still feared this dream would come true...
Slowly walking out of her bedroom, in shock and slowly regaining composure, Jenny started to feel that she needed a hug, a big one as she opened the door and closed it behind her
the young teenage robot went downstairs and started the Day as usual, After having breakfast, despite not needing to and saying good morning to dr. wakeman, Jenny headed to Tremonton High for the school day ahead
Time 1:24 PM
Jenny after having lunch had met up with her two good friends, Tyler and Brad, in history class, Their next period would be art class.
In their free time, during recess and without the Crust cousins and their best friend Ptesera in sight, Jenny talked to Tyler and Brad about her nightmare from the previous night while they were outside
"whoa, you mean to tell this new robot of Dr. Wakeman grew to the size of an entire planet and stepped on you!?" Cried Brad in shock
"Yeah, it was a real nightmare..." said Jenny sadly
"But you sort of cleared things up, right?" Brad said in worry. "I mean, you and Dr. Wakeman talked a couple of days ago, right?"
"yeah, but it still hurts..." said Jenny, "and I am still replaceable at any time..."
"Jenny, please calm down," said Brad. "It'll be alright. You have us to help you out."
"I appreciate it, Brad," said Jenny, still looking down a bit, "but please, don't leave me... don't let Mom..."
"We won't, Jenny," said Brad firmly. "Tyler and I made it quite clear we won't let anything happen to you."
"It's pretty hard for me to say this, Jenny, but we have enough worrying about what Dr. Wakeman will do. Let's focus on the school day and the task at hand..." Tyler said. Even though he had done all he could to help out Jenny, a subconscious part of him just wanted a distraction from the inevitable family drama Jenny was dealing with
Tyler, Brad, and Tuck were glad to hear Jenny's conversation with Dr. Wakeman went well, but Tyler and Brad were still cautious about it all, especially when Jenny was still hurting. Tyler found it hard to forgive past mistakes, especially since errors like those hurt others like his friends.
Brad, in the meantime, was thinking of a way to help bring the XJ sisters closer together and find a diversion from the current family drama. Even though it will just come back to them no matter what they do, the young carbunckle would have better luck figuring it out after school today...

Location Wakeman Residence
Over at the Wakeman residence, dr. Wakeman had been deep in thought and was hard at work setting up the therapy sessions for each of the XJ sisters, including Jenny,
So far, she has completed strengthening XJ3's joints so they do not fall apart easily. It was easy to retrofit and strengthen each limb part so as not to fall off. The upgrades on her still needed to be completed, but it was a start.
However, there was still work to be done with the XJ sisters before they could fully help Jenny in crime fighting, such as the therapy session.
Dr. Wakeman was worried. Since she had Trauma over the first intergalactic war and she unwillingly inflicted Trauma upon her daughter and children under a misguided belief of perfectionism, who's to say Tyler couldn't end up traumatized down the line?
Nora thought and spoke from experience.
Trauma over her creation, armagedroid's actions, and the blood he's spilled over friend and foe in the name of peace, prosperity, and the removal of all weapons in the world as he believed that was the only path in life and that made him the so-called good guy,
"I must remember to have therapy for young Tyler if he's ever affected by this war he's flung himself into alongside my daughter...and my children..." thought Dr. Wakeman in her head. "I know I have not set the best example of living your own life for Jenny or her sisters...and I can never take back what I've done no matter how many times I've tried...Forgive me, Jenny, my children."
dr Wakeman hung her head low for a moment and raised it again after a moment of deep thought
"But I know I can be different than before...and change the future." said Dr. Wakeman resolved
Thus, dr. Wakeman made it her mission of the Day to make a note to have therapy and psychiatric help for Tyler, the blue gladiator on speed dial, should he inevitably show signs of PTSD, Depression, suicidal thoughts, Trauma, and above all, to have psychiatric help to know that being a superhero and fighting isn't the only path in life...
Because, of course, the life of a superhero and a general war against evil can be stressful...
To this Day, however, dr. Wakeman keeps asking herself what drove Tyler to become Firebird in the first place; she was impressed by his resolve, but she still worries about his mental and emotional health state.
Dr. Wakeman knew painfully well the traumas that come from war and fighting for the fate of planet Earth, which took her years, if not months, to recover from after she retired from skyway patrol and the end of the first intergalactic war, but even then, she could not forgive herself for the death and destruction her greatest creation, armagedroid had caused,
Even so, she must go on...for her family's sake.

Location Brad Carbunckle's House
One Day After school, Brad was thinking of a way to help Jenny and her sisters. Tyler, also known as the blue gladiator, had done his part. Now it's Brad and Tuck Carbuncle's turn, but they have no idea what to do. They make it their mission to think of something to help out.
As the school day ended. Jenny, Tyler, and Brad went their separate ways back to their representative homes for the afternoon.
Brad was glad it was going to be the weekend soon, for when school was out for the weekend, Brad and Tuck were planning Tremorton Park for the annual brother and sister picnic tomorrow afternoon.
The event at Tremorton Park usually lasts two days. Where they allow a group of brothers or sisters to compete in many fun events, such as tug of war, badminton, a square dance contest, and more
The annual brother and sister picnic takes place in a far corner of the park where a dam is located, which raises safety concerns if anything were to happen to it, but as usual, no one in the ungrateful, prejudiced town of tremorton bats an eye to common sense.
Brad carbunckle begrudgingly did this tradition every year to be able to spend some time with Tuck, even though Tuck can be annoying at times, the problem brad hated was that whenever the picnic came up, Tuck kept eating his food and stuffing himself until he passes out...
Eventually, Brad got to a point where he tolerated the brother-sister picnic; he and his parents made sure that Tuck would not overdose on his food. Brad still wishes it could be better, however,
Suddenly, Brad had an idea. Jenny and her sisters could attend the fair, even though inevitably, trouble would arise. But it will be worth it if it means that Jenny and her sisters will have a good time together and spend the quality time their creator robbed from them decades ago; it carried many risks due to the tremorton populace's demonic-like prejudice against robots and things they could never hope to control
"Hey, tuck, we should talk to Jenny and her sisters about this!" Said Brad, turning toward his brother Tuck about his idea
"I think so too, but are you sure this will be alright?" Said Tuck with worry in his voice
"Well, it sure beats staying here all day..." said Brad as he then reached for the phone to make a call to their long-time friend and dialed the numbers

Time 4:56 PM
Later, at the Wakeman residence, as Brad called his best friend Jenny, the teenage robot had been relaxing in her room. She had just recently defeated a giant mechanical spider singlehandedly, even if she got reckless.
Currently, the young teenage robot with a heart was reading a magazine about teenagers when she felt her metal pigtails rotating up and down, indicating that she was getting a call.
"Well, I wonder who that would be?" Jenny asked as she transformed her left pigtail into a phone while transforming her right pigtail into a visor screen so she could see who it was. "Hello?"
"Hi, Jenny!" Called a familiar voice on the phone line; it was Brad
"Hi, Brad!" Jenny perked up as she recognized one of her first and long-time friends. " How are you today?"
"I'm doing pretty good," Brad said over the hotline. So, how have you been today, Jenny? Have you been fighting any more monsters?"
"I just got back from taking one of them down—a mechanical spider, actually," Jenny said while lying on her bedside pillow.
"Whoa!" Gasped Brad, "It must have been some fight, huh?"
"I was, but pfft, nothing I can't handle," said Jenny, scoffing at her previous adversary. "Though I have to give credit to Tyler, too; he does a real good job helping out."
"Yeah, I'm sure he does..." sighed Brad with a tinge of jealousy; this situation felt unfair to Brad; he had an unquenchable thrust for adventure, to be as brave and strong as Jenny and Firebird both of whom were Brad'sbrad's best friends, so that brad would prove himself worthy to everyone, to not be so worthless,
Even though Brad Carnuncle was friends with Jenny and Tyler, he didn't want to feel so left out, to be a dead weight to them...to be so...weak and powerless compared to them. Every Day, Brad questions himself: What in the world drove Tyler to volunteer to drive and become a Firebird without a second thought, and why did Dr. Wakeman accept him so easily?
Despite that, Brad keeps his jealousy restrained for now, not wanting to betray his friends, brother, and loved ones.
"So what's up, Brad?" Asked Jenny, snapping Brad out of his self-destructive thoughts
"Oh yeah!" Brad snapped to attention, "Jenny, there's an annual brother-sister picnic at Tremorton Park tomorrow afternoon; maybe you and your sisters could attend?..."
"There is!?" Said Jenny, surprised. "I never knew about that!"
"It's alright, think you might enjoy it over there!" said Brad, who sighed a bit. "I hope you'll have more fun over there than Tucker and I usually have..."
"I'd love to go!" Said Jenny
"Really?" Brad said. "But you don't have to eat or drink anything besides oil."
"Yeah, but like you said, Brad," replied Jenny. "It's a great opportunity to connect with my sisters and prove to Mom that their experiments have not failed."
Jenny hung her head down, the trauma still festered in her mind
"...and not be a failed experiment myself and be replaced," said Jenny. "I'm just a weapon and a weapon only kills whatever it touches."
"Don't say stuff like that! Keep your heads up!" Spoke Brad, "You are not a failed experiment; you're a person!"
"No! I'm just a hunk of junk," said Jenny distraught "How can I be a person?!"
"You're our best friend, aren't you?" Brad pointed out, "And we'd always fight for you!"
Jenny looked down to contemplate on brad's words, and he was right, her friends fought for her when they confronted dr. Wakeman on locking up and deactivating her sisters for not living up to her unrealistic expectations, when she could have improved them sooner
and yet, her friends came into her life and helped her reach out to the real world and make friends, and now she had reunited with her sisters, while they can be a handful, Jenny still loved them nonetheless and her friends had not yet let her down all the while
"Thanks, Brad, I guess..." said Jenny. "All right, I'll talk to Mom and my sisters, and we'll see about joining you and Tuck."
"We'd appreciate it if you came," said Brad. "Just don't feel too embarrassed for me to Tuck decides to do nothing but scarf his face down and think nothing about me."
"Brad, don't worry about it!" Said Jenny. "how's Tyler doing by the way?"
"Tyler's doing alright" answered brad "but he's been worried about you for the past few weeks and he's...having a hard time trusting ms wakeman"
"he's got a good reason..." muttered Jenny, the mental and emotional wounds still fresh "but right now, I think she's trying to do better"
"I hope so" said brad "because Tyler usually takes these things pretty hard "
"it'll be alright brad, I think" said Jenny "I'd like to talk to him again sometime after the picnic"
"yeah that would be best" said brad, "I'm sorry he won't be able to join us"
"it'll be alright brad I promise" said Jenny, trying to stay positive "If I don't see you tomorrow, have a great picnic!"
"Thank you, Jenny. Bye!" Said Brad as he hung up
"Bye!" Said Jenny as she also hung up
Jenny went to work right away; she went downstairs to her mother to discuss the offer brad has provided to her, even though Jenny still feared dr. wakeman could shut her down at any time and replace her just like her sisters, and nobody would care. That is what Jenny believes at least, but the pain still lingers; but she still had her friends to watch her back
a little while later, Jenny and Dr. Wakeman sat down on the couch and chair facing each other and discussed Brad's offer.
"An annual brother-sister picnic, you say?" Asked dr. Wakeman raised an eyebrow at her red-tinted glasses.
"Yeah, Brad said it would be a great time," said Jenny who looked hopeful, "and it would be a great time for my sisters and me to connect, in which you had all of them locked up to die."
"Yes..." said dr Wakeman who looked turned sour, she didn't deny that she deserved this, "It could...but you must realize, Jenny, that you and your sisters must be careful when attending this picnic, as there are people who will not accept you and your sisters for what you are, you remember what happened at the tremorton fair that one time"
"I'm quite painfully used to that," hissed Jenny, still wishing to be accepted and understood "I just wished they would, and I would not be a laughing stock."
"I know, dear...you were still quite insistent on going out into the world after all," said Dr. Wakeman "But if I could help and change that prejudice you face every Day, I would, but I don't know how."
"I'm open to suggestions," said Jenny determined "but the point is, I'd like to go to the picnic and have a good time with my sisters. Please, Mom, I would appreciate this."
"Well..." thought Dr. Wakeman, put a hand on her chin and looked thoughtful until she relented, "...very well, I will permit this, but you and your sisters must behave yourselves now."
"We'll do our best, Mom!" Jenny cheered "Thank you so much!"
"You're very welcome! And Jenny," added Dr. Wakeman "And should trouble arise during the picnic..."
"Don't worry, Mom!" Jenny said. "I'll handle them in the usual fashion."
"I shall hold you all to that, then," nodded Dr. Wakeman "I wish you all a great time tomorrow. Sleep well now, and remember to be on your best behavior!"
"We will, Mom! Thank you so much, Mom!" Cheered Jenny again
The news filled Jenny's mechanical yet human heart with joy. She then retired to her room and made plans with her sisters for tomorrow's picnic, XJ6 and XJ7 were giving her the most trouble to ensure cooperation, but they would have a great time tomorrow to the best of their ability; Jenny's only regret was that Tyler could not join them...
that night Jenny rested on her bed, satisfied that she would be having a good time tomorrow with her family and friends, confident that they would take on any trouble that came their way and she let sleep overtake her to recharge for the night...
AUTHOR'S NOTE: I'm very sorry for the hiatus, everyone! I just lost motivation and interest in this story for a while, I had other projects to do and I still have a life to lead
On a side note I had emotional difficulty with continuing the conflict between Jenny and her sisters and Dr. Wakeman, especially with trying to maintain a realistic outcome, hopefully things will work out in the end
but in the meantime, I hope you all have enjoyed this chapter and stay tuned for the next upcoming chapter, where we find Jenny, her siblings and her two friends at the annual brother-sister picnic!
And also, Happy Belated 20th anniversary to my life as a teenage robot!
