yep, I'll be doing all the posting, and running the competition.

this month, you've got 6 lines or less to describe water. water, like a waterfall, the sea, a river, a lake, rain, the possibilities are endless. here's the catch: you can't use the word WATER in your poems.

any style, rhyme or no rhyme. do what feels right.

two entries may be submitted, however one is perfectly acceptable.

two entries are NOT needed to win.

this is an anonymous competition, meaning no names will be listed alongside the title, nor will the author be mentioned. that means no responding to comments, either. mentioning yourself as the author disqualifies that piece.

the winner will be decided strictly based on VOTES. be sure to vote for your favorites!

because of the anonymous nature of this competition, please don't publish it among your own works until after the competition.

I have decided to not post any entries submitted after Wednesday, July 27, to allow for more even voting and a chance for all poems to be read before August 1st., the date in which new votes to not count towards deciding the outcome of this contest.
