Connor's POV.

It's so dark outside tonight. There's barely a star to be seen. We've been running for hours and it's about two in the morning.

We're planning on running through the night. I look over at Amber's white wolf. She's so gorgeous. Human and wolf.

I don't know what I did to get so lucky as to have a mate like her, but I am forever grateful for her.

For her and the new pack I have, these people that are fighting for me even though they don't have to. It means a lot. The only people who have don't that aside from Clayton and Cassandra was my mother.

It's nice to have more people in my life that care for me now. As I'm thinking I don't realize Amber is by my side until her shoulders nudge mine.

I look at her. ' We're stopping in a few minutes. ' says Amber over mind link.

I nod. About ten minutes passed before we stop and shift back. We had run behind trees and changed.

Now we're sitting down drinking water." We're about half way there now. Shouldn't take us to much longer to get to Alpha Anthony's pack. " says Alpha George.

We nod in response. " Alpha George. I am going to go and contact my son. " says Amber's father.

" You forget you don't have to ask me or let me know. Go check on your son. " says Alpha George.

Bète Rick bows his head in respect. " Thank you Alpha. " he then turned and walked away a bit to go contact John.

I wonder how he and the others are. I am just about to open my mouth to mention this to Amber when howls are heard and suddenly a huge rogue goes running through us.

A scream of pain was then heard. It had Matt by the leg and was dragging him at full speed away from us.

" MATT!!! " screamed Clair. She shifted and took off after the rogue. We were only seconds behind her.

Matt was frantically trying to grab onto something to stop them, but it was useless. Everything he grabbed just got ripped up.

" Clair!!!! " Cried Matt.

I was the closest to them aside from Clair. I was bigger and faster so I ran passed her and started gaining ground on the rogue.

I was almost there when Matt jammed his other foot into this rogues eye. A howl of pain was heard and he was released and went rolling.

Only to be grabbed seconds later by another rogue. This time it was his shoulder that got bit.

Matt screamed and tried to fight, but nothing worked. I picked up speed and jumped, tackling the rogue just as we made it to a huge crater.

The rogue dropped Matt and the three of us fell into the pit and landed hard.

Pain filled my side. I didn't see that small cliff leading into this crates until I attacked the rogue. I just wanted to get to Matt and free him.

I slowly got onto my feet and looked. Matt was into the corner of the crater trying to keep the rogue away.

I ran forward and tackled the rogue. I bit into the rogues neck while it was distracted and dragged it out away from Matt.

I thrashed and fought, trying it's hardest to free itself, but it didn't work. I bite down harder and hit it neck artery. I also twist my head and the neck snaps.

I drop the rogues body and it took its last breath. Who're shifting back into the human form.

I growl and shift back before running over to Matt. He's bleeding pretty badly and grunting in pain with every movement.

I then see that where the rogue. It his arm was bad. It was his brachial artery. He has his other hand limp by his side. More then likely hurt from the fall.

" Matt!!" Cried Clair skidding down the side of the crater and getting next to us. She already had tears pouring down her face. Matt's breathing was slowing.

" No, no Matt. Matt stay with me. It's ok. I got you. You'll be ok. I'll get you help. " she looked us at the others.

" DO SOMETHING, PLEASE HELP US!!! " Cried Clair. I want to heal him, but I can't tell anyone about it.

I look up at Alpha George. All he does is nod at me and I know that's all the permission I need.

I quickly move Clair away from him and remove her hands from his wound. Blood is everywhere and he's bleeding out.

He's almost passed out. " NO NO, I NEED TO BE WITH HIM!!" She screamed.

I then grab onto his wound just as the others make it down here with us. I put pressure and look into his eyes.

He looks at me and breaths in shakily. " Heal!" I order. On command this time my eyes glow blue, seconds later his eyes do the very same and he gasps in sharply.

" GET AWAY FROM HIM. YOUR HURTING HIM!! " Cried Clair.

However Alpha George holds her back. Soon the blue fades and I sit back weakly and slowly remove my hands. All his wounds are healed. Where my hands were was fresh skin.

I looked at him and see a him smile at me before his eyes roll back and he passes out.

Clair is then released and runs to his side and starts checking him over. She then looks at me. " Your a Blue Eyed Healer. " she gasps.

I nod. She is then hugging me. " Thank you so much for saving him. Thank you. " she cries.

All I do is nod. I look at Amber and the others. Their all smiling at me and that's when I can relax. Matt is safe and everyone is here and alive and that's all that matters right now.
