Amber's POV.

Ok so I have to admit. The food he made was good.

However now that I'm done and I've drank all the water, all I can concentrate on is mainly my worry or what the boss rogue wants with me and the burning of these silver cuffs.

Spark left right after I finished eating. She must have gone to get the boss rogue.

I don't like him one bit. He's freakin' scary.

Crap what am I going to do?

' Don't panic to much about this. Yes it's scary, but full out panicking isn't going to do us any good in the position we're in.' Says my wolf.

Good at least I can still talk to my wolf.

' I know, but being here trapped like this freaks me out. What if he kills us?' I say back.

' If he was going to kill us he would have by now. ' says my wolf.

' So what could he want from me then?' I say back.

' You'll just have to ask him when he comes to talk to you.' Says my wolf.

' I can't just ask him that." I say back.

' With the way things are going now, I don't think you have much of a choice in the matter. ' says my wolf.

I sigh. I know she's right. I don't really have anything else I can do, but ask questions.

I have so many to ask though. Like why did he kill Connors mother?

Did he do it to frame Connor or was it something completely different?

" You seem pretty lost in thought girl." Says a voice.

I immediately snap out of my thoughts and look up to see the boss rogue looking at me.

How long has he been there?

He sits down. He stares at me. " Seems like your family was pretty focused on that one wolf then me taking you. " he wasn't asking me anything. Just pointing it out.

I grow a bit angry. " Yeah. Don't know why. The wolf they were after was the least of their worries. " I mumble.

He chuckles. " Seems like that one was the only one protecting you from me, or at least trying to. " says Fenris. He was smiling.

I nod, not sure what else to do. " Why was he the only one that protected you? He was so adamant about keeping you safe. I'd like to know why. " says Fenris.

" There doesn't have to be a big reason. He could've been a close family member for all you know." I snap. Then gasp when I realized the way I just spoke to him.

His face darkens a bit, but he doesn't say anything about the way I spoke.

" Or he's your mate. " he say.

Everything goes silent. He then smirks when I don't answer.

" He was want he? " he says. I slowly nod.

Fenris bursts out laughing. " Wow he's your mate and your own pack Attacked him to keep him from helping you. Either they didn't know you had a mate and thought he was a rogue, or he's wanted for something. " says Fenris.

I look away. " Oh he's one of those escaped prisoners from Conan's pack isn't he? I heard about that from another rogue. Question is, which on is he?" Says Fenris.

" Can we just get onto why I'm here in the first place?" I spat. I'm sick of him trying to find out about my mate.

He killed his mother. Connor doesn't need to deal with him anymore.

At that he snarls and if I could, I would have backed up out of fear.

" STOP TALKING TO ME THAT WAY. I DON'T PLAN ON KILLING YOU JUST YET, BUT IF YOU KEEP THIS UP I JUST MIGHT. UNDERSTOOD?!!" He bellowed.

I flinch back, but nod. " Yes. " I say.

" Now your going to answer my questions. Got it!" Spat Fenris.

I nod again. " Who is your mate?" Says Fenris.

" Connor." I say.

" I need more information that that." Spat Fenris.

" He's the most dangerous escaped prisoner from Alpha Conan's pack." I say.

" That why they were after him. He looked very familiar. Why was he arrested?" Says Fenris.

" He was framed. He was arrested by Alpha Conan and accused of killing the packs very own Luna. " I say.

" So the Alpha blamed the pup that was there attacking me when I killed her?" Says Fenris.

" Yes. He arrested his own son and said Connor killed her when he was really only trying to save his mothers life. " I say.

He laughs. " So my plan worked. The pup got blamed. I wasn't planing on the pup showing up. I was planning on hunting him down after I killed his mother to kill him to, however when he showed up a new plan formed in my mind. The pup got blamed for my crime. " says Fenris.

I just stare. He meant for that to happen. Now I hate him even more.

What a jerk. I could call him so many things, but I won't.

" Didn't expect that did you?" He says smirking even more.

" Why did you kill her?" I ask.

" That will be explained soon enough. " says Fenris.

" What do you want with me?" I say.

" I'm not going to tell you that just yet. Not till I get some news. Now that I know more I'm keeping a ear out for something. I'll be back later." Says Fenris before leaving.

Then I'm alone. I look down. I can't believe it.

He was planning on killing Connor and his mother.

I hate what he did to Connor, but at the same time I'm glad he didn't kill him. If he had I wouldn't have a mate.

I really, really don't like this boss rogue. He's mean, cruel and I'm very frightened as to what his plan for me will be.

If he came up with something like that on the spot.

I can't even imagine what he has planned for me, but whatever it is. It scares the crap out of me.

I can barely see outside. It's dark. Night time. I then hear a loud howl. Suddenly Spark is standing there at the door.

" Alpha wanted me to let you know. He's thinking over stuff right now. He just got the news. Alpha Conan is on his way to your pack now. " says Spark.

Fear fills me at that. Connor. What's going to happen to him?

Alpha Conan will kill him if he gets his hands on Connor.

No. I can't lose him. He's my mate. I love him.

' Don't worry. I'm very worried to, but Kurt, John and Tasha won't let anything happen to him. Neither will Cassandra and Clayton.' Says my wolf.

Worry still fills me, but at that I feel a bit better. My wolf is right. They won't let anything happen to him. At least I hope not.

" Better sleep Amber. Now might be the only chance you got." Says Spark before sitting down.

I have no other choice. I lean back, not daring to lay down.

I close my eyes and slowly fall asleep, hoping it may be just the thing to clear my mind so I can think straight, my mind is racing. It's just filled with worry. I just try my best to sleep, and with that I'm out.
