02; Pack Mentality

CHAPTER TWO
"All I did to try to undo it"

ELOISE GRIFFIN sighs heavily just as she makes her way down the staircase of her home. She still hadn't told her aunt what had happened out in the woods the night before and the young girl couldn't possibly come clean to Claire, she knew what it could set off. Along the foyer's walls there hanged old ancient family portraits. Looking at each of them, Eloise didn't really recognize any of the unknown faces. Some of them must have been griffins like her, the blonde just didn't know which ones. To Eloise the last picture stood out the most to her. The teenager squinted her eyes as she tried to make out who was in the faded photo.

It was a group of children gathered around on a picnic blanket by a garden, the same one that still stood in Eloise's backyard. Eloise softly chuckled at the sight of one particular little girl. Her Aunt Claire.

"Your still here?"

Eloise turns around as she sees her aunt Claire approaching her from the family kitchen. "Your the little girl in the photograph, aren't you?" Eloise questions, with a smile. Claire slowly nodded as she peered up at the faded photo. She sighed with utter despair as it seemed if it was just yesterday she and her siblings were all running around their family's garden.

The elder griffin chuckles, "I remember that day" She tells her niece. "It was so hot outside that all the strawberry ice-cream that I ate got stuck all over my face." Claire looks over at her niece with a heartwarming smile, "And your father wouldn't stop ridiculing me about it, neither would our other siblings" she recalls, sadly.

"Siblings?"

Claire gritted her teeth as her face went red hot, realizing she had just slipped up.

Eloise raised an brow, "I thought you said it was just you and my dad?" She asks, utterly confused. "Did you have more brothers and sisters?"

"Forget it, I made a mistake that isn't what I meant."

The young blonde stepped closer towards her aunt, "But you said siblings? As in more than one" Eloise added with suspicion.

"You better hurry before your late for school" Claire said softly. But Eloise was intrigued by her aunt's remark so the young werewolf kept on insisting. Claire shook her head as her angry glare landed on her niece. "Eloise. I won't say it again" she snapped, in anger. "Go to school before you are late." Claire storms away from the young griffin as she heads into another part of the manor, leaving Eloise standing alone in the empty foyer.

Stiles slams his Jeep door shut, slinging his school bag over his shoulder as he talks with his best friend, Scott McCall. "And then what? You killed her?" The human boy asks, utterly bewildered. Scott sighs as he follows Stiles from his Jeep toward the school, "I don't know. I woke up. I was sweating like crazy and I couldn't breathe." The young McCall shook his head, "I've never had a dream where I woke up like that" He tells Stiles.

"I have but it usually ends a little differently."

The young werewolf rolls his eyes, "A: I meant I've never had a dream that felt that real." Scott looks over at his best friend, "B; never give me that much detail about you in bed ever again" Scott snapped, clearly annoyed.

"Noted." Stiles shrugs, "But I'm going to take a guess here--" before Stiles could finish his sentence, Scott interrupted the human. "You think it has something to do with me going out with Allison tomorrow, like I'm afraid I'm gonna to lose control and rip her throat out" The McCall shares.

The young Stilinski shook his head, "No, of course not" Stiles replied lying. But then Scott sends the buzzcut haired teen a look. "Yeah that's totally it" The human boy says lowly with a scoff.

Scott nods, with his head slung low. Stiles sighs as he tries to cheer up his friend, "It's going to be okay. Personally I think you're handling this pretty fricking amazingly." The Stilinski shrugs nonchalantly, "It's not like there's a lycanthropy for beginners class you can take" Stiles adds.

"Not a class but maybe a teacher."

Stiles jaw dropped at he looked over at Scott with disbelief, "Who? Derek? Are you forgetting the part where we got him tossed him in jail?" Stiles exclaimed.

"I know, but all of it--chasing her back onto the bus. It felt so real" Scott deadpanned.

"How real?" Stiles questions.

The McCall frowns, "Like it actually happened" Scott Clarified.

"I think it did..."

Across the parking lot, police tape cordons off one of the school's buses. Sheriff Stilinski and his deputies oversee a lab tech examining the rear bus door hanging from its hinges. And worse... there's blood on it.

Sometime later Eloise's walks towards her locker with Allison by her side. "So how are you liking the school so far?" The brunette asks, with a smile. The blonde shrugs, "It's okay. I guess" She says softly.

"How about you?" Eloise asks, with a soft smile.

"It's going great. Things between me and Scott are going really great" Allison chimes, happily. The two teens finally each Eloise's locker as the young griffin opens it, putting back some textbooks. "Anyways I have to get to my last class but I'll save you a seat at lunch" Alison tells the blonde, Eloise gives a nod and watches her walk off.

Meanwhile The teacher, Mr. Harris, stands at the board writing down chemical interactions while Scott and Stiles whisper to each from their seats. "Maybe it was my blood on the door?" The McCall pondered.

Stiles shrugs, "It could be animal blood. Like maybe you caught a rabbit or something?" The human boy suggested.

The McCall scoffs, "And did what?"

"I don't know, ate it" Stiles retorts.

"Raw?"

Stiles rubbed his forehead as he spoke up again, "No you stopped to bake it in a werewolf over." The buzzcut haired teen scoffs, "How should I know? You're the one who can't remember anything" Stiles points out, with an annoyed look.

Mr. Harris looks over at stiles and Scott with a disapproving glare. "Mr. Stilinski, if that's your idea of a hushed whisper you might want to pull the earphones out once in a while. I think you and Mr. McCall would benefit from a little distance. Yes?"

The Chemistry Teacher points to two empty seats on either side of the classroom. Scott and Stiles stand and cross to their new seats. Scott's desk is right in front of Jackson Whittemore. The young McCall sits, very aware of Jackson's eyes on his back.

"Let me know if the separation anxiety gets to be too much" Mr. Harris retorted. As he turns his back to the board, Harley gazes up from her seat. "Hey! Look they found something!" She exclaims. "They found a body" Harley shouted, pointing towards the window.

In one motion the class bolts to the window to see for themselves. Even Mr. Harris. Outside the window, an ambulance sits parked by the woods. Two emts emerge from the foliage, pushing a gurney. Strapped to it is a man's body.

Scott who notices this turns to his best friend, "That's not a rabbit" The McCall says lowly. Outside the window, the gurney rolls toward the ambulance when suddenly the body atop it lurches up causing the students to scream. As the EMT's ease the victim down, Scott steps back from the others. Stunned. Devastated.

Stiles slowly approaches, "This is good. He's not dead. He got up and a dead guy can't do that" he assures a worried Scott.

"Stiles...I did that."

Eloise quietly steps inside her home as she's in search of an school book. The young griffin tipped toes up the large wooden staircase as she tries not to make a ruckus. She continues carefully walking up the stairs but pauses for a moment as she heard her aunt's voice coming from the living room.

Eloise knew that eavesdropping was wrong but for some reason the tone of Claire's voice sounded unusual. So the young girl carefully sat down at the step, her ear leaning against the wooden railing trying hard enough to use her enhanced hearing.

"I'm fine but she's been a little too curious lately" Claire's voice spoke. For some oddly strange reason Eloise couldn't hear the other person's voice from the other line, only Claire's. "She's doing perfectly fine in school, you should be proud. Eloise is very bright for her age. Sometimes she can be a little mischievous but we both know where she gets that from" Claire said with a chuckle.

It couldn't be, Eloise thought. She hadn't seen or heard from her dad in years. And it couldn't have been her mother calling because Aurora already kept constant contact with Eloise. "Zach. Stop it already. She has not show any potential for any magical abilities, I don't think she's like either of us." The elder blonde sighs, "Your daughter must take after her mother then. She's Still a Pierce after all."

Eloise took a step back but as she did this, the old wooden floor step creaked. Taking Claire's attention away from the phone, "Hold on a second" Eloise's Aunt says into the telephone. The blonde sets the telephone down as she starts walking towards the foyer. The woman looks to the large staircase as she spots her niece seated by the railing.

"Why aren't you in school?" Claire questions her niece, watching as the teen slowly rises from the stairs."Is that why my dad never comes around?" Eloise blurted out, with a frown.

Claire sighed deeply, "Sweetheart" She began but the young griffin cut her off. "Am I just some burden to him? He abandons his only daughter just because she's not a witch like him" Eloise exclaimed, on the verge of tears.

"Eloise you have to trust me on this, it isn't what you think" Claire tells her niece, stepping closer.

Eloise takes an step back as she shook her head, "You don't have to keep making excuses for him anymore, I totally understand. He wouldn't want a kid like me" The blonde deadpanned as she brushed past her aunt, exiting the large home.

──

It's late September of the year of 1993 and it's an dark rainy night in beacon hills. Claire Griffin walks out to the front door of her cabin, that's secretly hidden in the middle of the woods. The young blonde opens her front door as she lets her elder brother inside. The elder Griffin shuts the door behind him as he takes off his soaking wet coat.

"Long time no see, little sister" Zachariah commented, softly kissing his younger sister on the cheek.

Claire snickers, "Yeah. No kidding" She retorts, leading him into the living room. Zachariah sighs as he steps into the living room, glancing over to his younger sister. "So what did you want to talk about?" The Griffin questioned.

"Zachariah?"

The Griffin siblings both turn around as they watch Aurora Pierce come from out wherever she was hiding. Utterly confused Zachariah looks to the werewolf girl then to his sister, "What the hell is the meaning of this?" He asks, with an annoyed expression.

Claire swallowed thickly as she met her brother's deathly gaze, "The girl's pregnant with your child, Brother" She revealed.

The Elder Griffin was at loss for words as Aurora stepped closer to the two. "It's true, I'm expecting our child" The Blonde werewolf said softly, it seemed like she wasn't happy at all about the sudden news. The blue eyed man looked over at his sister, as she slowly nodded confirming the truth. "I already performed a spell, Aurora is indeed with child" Claire explained.

Zachariah shook his head as he loomed in closer towards the werewolf. "Your lying, You've been with someone else" The witch said with certainty. Utterly offended by the man's accusations, Aurora slapped Zachariah across the face as she gritted her teeth. "You don't think I would have fessed up if it wasn't yours, I'm already betrothed to someone else Zachariah. This pregnancy is about to ruin an sixteen year matrimonial deal for my pack" Aurora snapped, as her blood boiled.

Claire sighed as she tried comforting the soon to be alpha, "You should calm down Aurora, it isn't good for the child" The blonde said nonchalantly.

The Pierce let out an harsh breath, "I could be cast out of my family, most importantly my place with the pack" Aurora fretted.

"I forgot, Your practically royalty" Zachariah said with an eye roll.

Claire steps in, looking between the two. "Enough of all the bickering, you two need to figure out what to do" Claire advises. "Not to alarm you or anything Aurora but if anyone finds out that you're carrying my brother's child, you'll become a target."

Aurora's brow furrowed, "What do you mean, I'll become a target?"

Zachariah smirks wickedly as he met the werewolf's gaze. "Let's the say, I don't have the best track record."

────

Lunch trays in hand, Stiles and Scott head to an open table in the cafeteria. The young Stilinski adds, "Dreams aren't memories" Stiles tells the McCall.

Scott sighs in utter frustration, "Then it wasn't a dream. Something happened last night and I can't remember what" The McCall fretted with a frown as the two boys sit down at a table together with their trays.

"How are you so sure Derek has all the answers? There could possibly be other people who know a thing or two about lycanthropy" Stiles pointed out.

The Young McCall leans towards his best friend. "Well, on the full moon Derek wasn't changed. He was in total control and I'm running around in the night attacking some totally innocent guy" Scott whispered.

Stiles shook his head, "You don't know that."

"I don't not know it." Scott frowns in disappointment, "I can't go out with Allison. I have to cancel."

The Human boy scoffs, "No, you don't" He adds. "You can't cancel your entire life, we'll figure this out" Stiles Assures the young werewolf. Suddenly Lydia sits down next to him with her tray. "Figure out what?" The Martin questions.

"Uh...Homework, Just Homework" The McCall says untruthfully. Stiles pauses with a French Fry held just at his lips. Lydia is sitting with them. Voluntarily. He leans over to whisper to Scott, "Why is she sitting with us?" Stiles asks. Scott shrugs in response but then Allison comes over and he removes his backpack from the seat he was saving for her.

"Thanks" The brunette says with a smile.

Stiles still holds that French Fry, watching with increasing surprise as Eloise sits down at the lunch table as well, and so does Danny and one of Jackson's other teammates. Finally, Stiles starts eating that French Fry, quite pleased to see that the popular table has come to them but also alarmed as Eloise was seated right besides him. The Young Stilinski still remembered the night in the woods where the young blonde had chased him in her wolf form, nearly killing him.

Jackson then comes over, Glaring at his teammate. "Get up" The Whittemore snapped. The boy scoffs, "How come you never ask Danny to get up?"

Danny softly chuckles, "Because I don't stare at his girlfriend's coin slot." The Teammate grabs his tray and gets up, allowing Jackson to take his seat next to Lydia and Danny. But the Whittemore's glare starts to fixate on Scott. The lacrosse captain was not at all happy that the McCall had somehow infiltrated his crew.

Danny speaks up, "So they're saying it's an animal attack. Probably a cougar" The Mahealani Suggested, with an shrug.

"I heard an mountain lion."

Lydia blurted, "A cougar is a mountain lion" The Strawberry blonde glances up to see she's corrected her boyfriend. "Isn't it?" The Martin deadpanned, now playing dumb.

Jackson scoffs, "Who cares?" He huffed. "The guy's probably some homeless tweaker who's gonna die anyway." The young griffin slightly rolled her eyes, she was clearly annoyed by Jackson's behavior, then Eloise glances over at the Stilinski who's looking at his cellphone.

"Actually, I just found out who he is" Stiles Chirped.

Everyone crowds around to watch the news report on the display. But both Lydia and Eloise stay where they are, utterly indifferent. "I know that guy. I used to take the bus back when I lived at my dad's place. He was the bus driver" The McCall shares.

The strawberry blonde sighs, "Can we please talk about something slightly more fun, please?" Jackson slowly nods agreeing with his girlfriend then he glances over at a quiet Eloise, "Yeah like when Eloise's gonna throw a party at that mansion of hers" The Whittemore requested, causing the rest of the group to turn their attention towards the griffin. Eloise knew there was no way in hell she could ever throw a party at her house. Especially when her home was basically a freak show of the supernatural.

The blue eyed teen swallowed thickly as she spoke. "We just moved into the place and it's pretty old. I don't think you guys would want to hang out over there" Eloise pointed out to her friends.

The Martin scoffed, "My mom told me that Eloise's place is the biggest Home in town. Anyone in town always tried to get a peak of that mansion of yours, it was practically abandoned for years until you came to town" Lydia shared with a smile.

The young griffin's jaw clenched, "Hey Allison. Weren't you talking about hanging out with Scott tomorrow night?" Eloise questioned, clearly trying to change the subject. Suddenly Both Allison and Scott whip their heads Around to the Griffin.

Scott chimed, "We hadn't decided what we were gonna do."

Lydia sighed heavily as she looked over between her boyfriend and friends. "Well, I'm not sitting at home watching lacrosse videos again" The strawberry blonde complained. "If the five of us are going to be hanging out, let's pick something fun" Lydia suggested.

"How about bowling?" Eloise chimes, with a grin.

"Great! Jackson loves to bowl" The Martin adds, looking over at her boyfriend. Jackson's expression hardened with utter displeasure. "Yeah but with actual competition" The Whittemore grumbles.

The brunette scoffs, "How do you know we're not competition" Allison remarked, as she turns to the McCall. "You can bowl, right?"

"Sort of.."

"Sort of or yes."

Now glaring back at the lacrosse captain, Scott speaks up. "Yeah.. in fact I'm a great bowler" The McCall beamed.

───

Some time later towards the end of eighth period, Eloise walks down an empty corridor carrying her school books but as she turns for the corner someone quickly grabs her pulling her into an empty office space. The young blonde looks up as she sees an worried but concerned Stiles Stilinski. "What the hell is wrong with you?" Eloise snapped, shoving the boy back.

"Wow, you really are strong" Stiles hissed softly as he went to slowly close the door. An angry frown creased the Griffin's forehead as she glared angrily at the human boy. "You clearly don't understand how threats work, Stiles" Eloise muttered, watching as he slowly approached her.

Stiles let out an harsh Breath trying to reason with the mysterious wolf girl. "Look, I need your help?" The Stilinski said.

"With What?"

"It's Scott. Fun fact you aren't the only werewolf in town" Stiles said trying to lighten up the mood but he could only feel the Young Pierce's cold gaze on him. "He's just like you and he thinks that he may have hurt someone but he can't remember any of it" Stiles explained.

"So you need my help?"

The teenage boy nodded, "Yeah. It's either you or a serial killer werewolf who's pretty much pissed at me and Scott for getting him arrested" Stiles acknowledged. Suddenly Eloise loomed closer towards the human. Her bright blue eyes meeting his dark brown ones. For a short amount of time silence had filled the room, but for Stiles if felt like an eternity. The blonde slightly raised her chin as she kept her dark cold gaze on stiles, the entire time he was talking she carefully listened to his heartbeat, trying to hear if their were any inconsistencies but Eloise was wrong. Stiles was clearly telling her the truth.

The teenage girl took an step back, looking back up at the Stilinski. "Fine, I'll help you" Eloise replied softly.

Stiles sighed in utter relief, "Great! Thank you" he exclaimed with a grin.

"Oh, Don't be thanking me Stiles."

The boy raises a brow, "How come?" He questioned utterly confused.

"I'm just agreeing to help you and Scott because it'll mean you'll owe me." The Griffin chuckles as she smirked, "And one day you'll both will have to do a favor for me" Eloise specified, with her head held up high. The young werewolf walked out of the office and Back into the corridor, leaving stiles utterly frightened and impressed.

───

The griffin estate was known to be isolated from the other homes in beacon hills. Claire and Eloise's home had huge acres of private land that separated them from the rest of the towns people. The Elder griffin sighed heavily as she started to sense an intruding presence coming her way. Clearly alarmed, Claire's steps off her porch heading towards the homes front gates. As she does this, the woman is met with an old face. Christopher Argent.

"It's kinda stupid of you to show your face around here, don't you think?" Claire smirked as she looked around for others, "Especially for you to come alone" The witch adds.

"I don't want any trouble" Argent said with caution.

Claire slightly rolled her eyes at the man. He hadn't changed one bit. Claire's eyes gleamed with utter disgust and annoyance, "What the hell do you want then? Before I start burning you alive." Argent scoffed as he met the woman's gaze, "That wouldn't really get you anywhere now would it? I came here because I'd like to know where your brother is?" He questions.

"I haven't heard from Zachariah in ten years." Claire shrugs, "Who knows? He could be dead" The Witch suggested, trying to throw the hunter off her trail.

Argent softy hummed, "Well I hope you're telling the truth because I'd hate for you to face the consequences" Chris deadpanned. Claire scoffed as she slowly started to murmur a few unknown words. Suddenly the man felt an overwhelming amount of pain rushing through his body. It felt like his head was about to burst into a million pieces but as the hunter looked back up at the griffin witch. Claire couldn't help but smirk wickedly as she stopped with the chants. "A piece of advice Christopher, Never mess with a witch. Especially a very pissed off
One."

A while later as night begins to fall Eloise paces around her bedroom utterly doubtful wondering if it was even worth it to take the risk she was going to do. The young blonde sighed deeply as she prepared herself to head out into the night and meet the two teen boys. But Eloise pauses as she starts hearing her aunt's footsteps approaching her bedroom from outside the hall.

"Eloise Dear? Are you already alseep?" Claire questions from the other side of the door. The young griffin swallowed thickly as she looked between her opened window and the shut bedroom door. "Yeah i was just about to slide into my pjs" Eloise said with an fake smile, clearly lying to her aunt.

"Oh then if you're up, let me please explain." Claire put her hand on the door, leaning against it. Eloise sighed as she made her way towards the door, opening it for her aunt. Claire softly smiled as she entered her niece's bedroom, making her way over to the edge of Eloise's bed as she sat down besides her niece.

The blonde purses her lips as she gave an half shrug. "Look, I don't care what he thinks about me having magic or not" Eloise replied lowly.

Claire shook her head, "Zachariah isn't ashamed of you." The elder Griffin sighs as she met her niece's intrigued gaze. "Aurora and Zach love you. Especially your dad, he'll practically go to ends of the world for you" The elder griffin asserted. Claire softly stroked a strand of Eloise's blonde hair behind the teen's ear as she softly smiled. Throughout the years of raising her niece, Claire noticed that Eloise was blessed with her mother's compassion and mercy but the young girl also had inherited her father's strength and ruthlessness.

"It's just been so long and if you love someone, you'd would want to be with them" The young werewolf Acknowledges. Eloise forced a smile as the memory of her dad lingered in her mind. The young griffin remembered her father and how he would treat his only child in a such gentle and loving manner. To Zachariah, Eloise was the light of his very dark miserable life and he had always wanted to be worthy enough of being the girl's father.

Eloise looked back up at her aunt, "I know you say they're protecting me but am I going to have to live without my mom and dad for my entire life?" Claire sat quietly besides her niece, not knowing if the girl's parents would ever come back for their daughter. "I think I'll let you head off to bed" Claire says, rising herself up. Eloise slowly nodded as she watched her aunt leave her bedroom, slowly closing her room door behind her.

───

Stiles's Jeep pulls up to the chain link fence surrounding the high school parking lot. Scott gets out of the passenger side, approaching the fence, his eyes focused on the school bus parked on the far side of the lot with Yellow police tape draped around it. The McCall starts climbing the fence but he steps down when he and Stiles notice someone coming from out of the shadows. It's Eloise. The teenage girl walks towards the two boys as Scott shares a look of utter confusion.

"What's she's doing here?" Scott says to stiles. But the Stilinski stays quiet as Eloise looked back up at the young McCall. Her eyes flashed a radiant gold, "Because you're like me Scott" The griffin deadpanned looking at the newly turned werewolf.

The brown eyed teen stared at the blonde in blank amazement. Scott was shocked to see that there were others like him out in the world. "Your a werewolf" Scott said lowly.

Eloise slowly nodded, "Yeah I am. But stiles told me you needed help?"

Scott narrowed his eyes at his best friend, "You knew about her?" He exclaimed, utterly bothered.

Stiles scoffed as he glanced between the two werewolf. "In my defense, she did threaten to kill me if I told anyone but you're just like her and we're in desperate need of her help" The Human boy commented.

Eloise lifted a brow, "You never really specified what was your guy's problem?" The griffin asked.

"We came here to see if Scott can remember anything from the night before" Stiles chimes.

"Meaning he was the one who attacked the bus driver?" Eloise pointed out.

Scott steps in, "I didn't kill or hurt anyone." He sighs, "Well not that I recall of" The McCall says lowly.

The young griffin shrugs nonchalantly as she steps closer towards the fence. "Well, let's go and find out" Eloise tells them, as she starts climbing up the large metal fence. Now reaching the top, the teen girl jumps to the other side softly landing on her two feet but as she turns back. Eloise sees a look of a utter woah on Scott and Stiles faces.

"You coming?"

From the other side of the fence Scott slowly nodded in response as he started climbing the fence, but pauses when Stiles moves to follow. "Just me and her. Someone needs to keep watch" The young werewolf tells the human.

Stiles scoffs in annoyance, "How come I'm always the guy keeping watch?"

"Because there's only two of us? Plus Eloise already went ahead" Scott explains.

"Why's it starting to feel like your Batman and I'm Robin?" The Stilinski mutters, "I don't want to be Robin all of the time."

Scott shook his head, "Nobody's Batman or Robin any of the time" The McCall points out.

"Not even some of the time?"

"Just stay here" Scott says through his gritted teeth. Stiles watches Scott climb the fence and leap down to the pavement on the other side. As Scott catches up to Eloise, the girl turns back to him with suspicion. "Your heart rate keeps on increasing" The Blue eyed girl noted.

"Were you born or bitten like me?" Scott asks.

Eloise sighed as she glances at the McCall, "My mother's a werewolf" She shares with him. Scott slowly nodded as they finally reached the school bus. Whatever memories it might hold inside--Scott pauses to look at the damaged door. He holds still, drawing in a breath and closing his eyes but he quickly snaps them open.

"It's working right?" The blonde questioned, noticing Scott's odd behavior.

The two of them slowly stepped into the school bus but Eloise followed the boy from behind as Scott slowly made his way down the aisle, hand gliding along the vinyl backs of the vacant seats. Dark spatters of blood blot the windows, looking down to the floor of the bus Scott sees an image from his dream-Allison being dragged down the aisle. But now it's the real victim - the Bus Driver being hauled back, screaming.

Scott grips the seats, the memories of what really happened flooding into his mind. Eloise sighed deeply as she noticed that some of the blood on the ground had belonged to Scott. Suddenly a beeping horn grabs their attention just as a flashlight blasts through the bus windows. "You two in the bus, stay where you are!" The security guard shouts.

Without another thought Eloise and Scott storm down through the aisle, and out the door.

Hitting the ground running, behind the two teens a security guard comes charging out of the school with a flashlight. Eloise and Scott race for the fence as the flashlight beam catches the two. The chain link comes up fast but instead of climbing, the two young werewolves launch themselves off the pavement, flipping head over heels right over the fence. From behind the wheel of the jeep, a wide eyed Stiles watches as Scott and Eloise land on the pavement like Olympic gymnasts.

"Go! Go!"

The two werewolves make it into the jeep as Scott sits up at front and Eloise in the backseat. With them slamming the doors shut, Stiles floors it.

"Did it work? Do you remember?" Stiles asks.

The McCall slowly nodded, "I was there last night and the blood-- a lot of it was mine" Scott tells them, nearly breathless.

The griffin's brow furrows, "So you did attack him?" Eloise ponders.

Scott looks back towards the back of the jeep. "No, I saw glowing eyes in the bus but they weren't mine, it was Derek."

"What about the driver?"

"I think I was actually trying to protect him from Derek." Eloise pauses at the mention of Derek's name. It sounded familiar to the young girl but she didn't know how she recognized the name. Eloise looked over at Scott as she scooted towards the car's console. "Who's this Derek guy you two keep talking about?" The blue eyed girl asked.

"Derek Hale. He's the guy who bit me."

───

"Pass" Lydia hums at Allison. The Argent sat in her bedroom with her two newest friends, Eloise and Lydia. The three of them had all planned to head over to the bowling alley in a while but they had their priorities set on judging the brunette's clothing options. Allison then holds up another shirt, displaying it to her friends. "Pass" Lydia and Eloise Chimed in unison.

The Martin then gets up as she walks towards Allison's closet. "Pass on all of it. God, Allison. Respect for your taste? Dwindling by the second" Lydia retorted. The blue eyed girl also stands up as she makes her way over to the argent's closet. "This is the one" Eloise tells the brunette, pulling out an black outfit.

Suddenly the bedroom door swings open unannounced. It's Argent, pulling on his jacket. Allison looks at her father, raising a brow. "Dad, hello?" Allison says nonchalantly.

"Right, Sorry" Argent says with a grin. "I completely forgot to knock."

"Hi, Mr. Argent." Suddenly Lydia falls onto Allison's bed she slides her leg up on the bed, striking a model-like pose. To her annoyance, Argent doesn't notice. Chris then glances over at the blonde utterly intrigued, "You didn't tell me you had a new friend?" Argent asks his daughter.

Allison smiles softly, "Oh that's Eloise. She's also new in town" The brunette explained. Argent slowly nodded as his attention turned back to his daughter. "Just wanted to tell you that you'll be staying in tonight" Argent said with simple directness.

"What?" Allison scoffed. "I'm going out with my friends tonight" The brunette reasoned.

Christopher shook his head, "Not when there's an animal out there attacking people."

"Dad.."

Argent let out a harsh breath, "It's out of my hands. There's a curfew, no one's allowed past 10 pm" He explains to his only daughter. Allison pointed at her father's leather jacket as she narrowed her brown eyes at him. "But your going out" The brunette insisted.

"I'm over eighteen." Argent sighs, "No more arguing" He tells the brunette, shutting the door behind him.

The Martin sits up from the bed as Eloise also sits down beside the strawberry blonde. "Aren't we Daddy's little girl?" Lydia chimed, with a slight chuckle.

Allison shrugs, "sometimes but not tonight" The Argent tells her friends. Allison walks over to her bedroom window and opens it. Both Eloise and Lydia watch utterly intrigued by the argent as Allison slips out onto the roof. The brunette skids to the edge, but before falling off Allison launches herself.

The young Argent catches a nearby tree branch and then releases herself, doing a back flip right onto the lawn below. She looks up to Lydia and Eloise, "Eight years gymnastics." Allison breathes, "You guys coming?" Eloise smirks, Sliding out of the bedroom window herself. The young griffin skids to the edge of the roof, jumping off. Softly landing next to Allison, who sends her a smile.

Lydia stops staring in astonishment and nods to the door. "I think I'll take the stairs" The Martin retorts.

───

Hours later after the group had a blast at the bowling alley. It's pitch dark outside as Eloise drives down the dark road, with Scott McCall seated besides her in the passenger seat. They had just returned from dropping off Allison back at her house and now they were on their way to the McCall's home. Scott glances over at the blonde, "Thanks again for the ride" He says softly.

"No problem" Eloise chimes.

Scott sighed, "So earlier when you told me that you were born a werewolf" The McCall starts. But Eloise stops him, with a narrowed gaze, "And what about it?" She asks.

"You had said your mom's one too." Scott shrugs nonchalantly, "I was wondering if she could help me out because I'm still trying to get the hang of this whole thing" He explains to the blonde. Eloise's jaw clenched with displeasure as the young McCall mentioned her mother.

Eloise shook her head, "I don't know where she is at the moment" She says with an sadden gaze.

Scott's brow furrowed, "Is she missing?" He asks utterly confused. "There's a lot you don't know about me, Scott. My family's story is a very complicated one." The McCall slowly nodded, not wanting to question the blonde anymore. Scott could sense that Eloise was off, every-time he had mentioned her mother, her voice gave off utter heartbreak and despair.

Suddenly Scott's cellphone beeped, the display lights up. Revealing a message from Stiles. Eloise looks to Scott as she lifted a brow, "Let me guess. It's Stiles" The Griffin retorted with a smirk.

"Yep." Scott looks down at his cellphone as he reads out the text message to the blonde. "The Hospital staff told my dad that the bus driver had succumbed to his wounds."

Scott looks up in confusion, "Succumbed?" He inquires.

"Scott...he's dead" Eloise says softly with a saddened but worried expression. The Griffin heir watches as Recognition dawns onto the boy's features, it was like something in the teen's demeanor had changed. "Where to now?" Eloise asks, looking over at a bothered Scott.

"To Derek's." Eloise slowly nodded as she kept on driving further towards their destination.

───

As The Griffin's car pulls up towards the hale home, Scott quickly steps off the car as he rushes towards the front of the home with Eloise cautiously following him from behind. Meanwhile from inside the front door slams open as Scott stands in the threshold just a silhouette. "Derek. I know you're here and I know what you did" Scott says angrily.

No reply comes from the dark shell of a house. Scott enters walking in front of the blonde, letting the door shut behind them. As Eloise looked around the burnt abandoned home, a chill ran up her spine as she could feel such a strong stench of death filling the home. With her head cocked, she listens as the Hale's calm voice comes out of the darkness. "Your a new face" Derek chimed, from the dark shadows.

He then directs his voice to Scott, "I didn't do anything" Derek tells the boy.

Scott scoffs, "You killed him" the young werewolf snapped.

"He died." Eloise and Scott slowly stepped around the home, together.

"Like your sister died?"

Derek huffed annoyingly. You could clearly tell by the tone of his voice that he wasn't happy at all with Scott's accusations. "My sister was missing and I came here to find her" Derek growled at them.

"Did you end up finding her?" Eloise chirped.

Derek snaps back, "I found her in pieces, being used as bait to catch me." Both Scott and Eloise narrowed their eyes at each other, as their eyes followed down a dark hallway.

The McCall clears his throat, "I think you killed them both and I'm going to tell everyone." Eloise turns to look at Scott with utter confusion as he spoke up. "Starting with the Sheriff--" With great speed Eloise feels a large shadow shove her into a wall. The young griffin groans as she sees Derek hurtling out of the darkness. He moves like a blur, also sending Scott smashing into the wall. The Hale turns back towards the fallen blonde, "I would stay out of this if I were you" Derek says with a smirk.

Eloise softly groans as she rises from the wooden floor. When the girl looks up, her eyes are now yellow, her teeth have now grown to fangs. The combination of rage and fear have caused the shift. Derek stares at the young griffin with utter amazement, "Your a...Werewolf" He beamed, utterly stunned.

Suddenly from behind Scott launches himself at the still-human Derek. They collide with a bone-rattling thud. Scott's attack is relentless and brutal. The second Derek manages to tear him off, Scott is back on him, claws ripping, teeth gnashing. Eloise watches as the two male werewolves stumble and spin until both smash through a burnt door. Splinters exploding into the air as they tumble down the stairs into a rotting black basement. With her face now returned back to normal, Eloise runs after the two.

Scott splashes down into a water-logged floor. He pulls himself up, twisting around on his back and seeing Derek through a mottled glass partition. Behind the glass, The Hale's eyes begin to glow an ice cold blue. His body twists violently, head snapping back as he transforms, seeming to grow bigger, the mottled glass giving a distorted glimpse of his metamorphosis.

Minutes later Eloise reaches the dark basement, she runs towards Scott who's shutting his eyes, literally waiting to die. The blonde rushes to his side as her eyes glow a magnificent gold, now snarling at the hale. To their surprise Derek steps back. Breathing hard, he's reigned in the animal rage, now back to normal as well.

"I didn't kill him, Scott." The green eyed man sighs, "Neither of us did. It's not your fault and it's not mine" Derek explained. Eloise helps Scott slowly stand, he's beaten and dripping wet but his eyes remain defiant. "This...this is all your fault. You ruined my life!" Scott screamed.

Derek leans in closer. "No i didn't." Both Scott and Eloise look at the man with confusion.

"You're the one who bit me."

"No, I'm not" Derek replied.

The McCall frowns, "What?"

"I'm not the one who bit you." Scott gazes at the hale. Derek doesn't blink with no sign whatsoever that he's lying. Disbelief dawned onto the young griffin's face as she looked over at the two werewolves. "There's another" Eloise exclaimed, her human blue eyes staring up at Derek and Scott.

Derek slowly nods, "It's called an alpha. The most Dangerous of our kind. The Hale looks over at the boy, "You and I, we're Betas. This thing...it's more powerful, more animal than either of us." The McCall slowly nodded as he remembered the faint image of the creature from the school bus. "My sister came here looking for him, trying to stop him. Now I'm trying to find him and I don't think I can do it without you, Scott."

"Why me?" Scott asks, looking at the ground.

"Because he turned you." Derek sighs, "You're part of his pack. It's you Scott." Eloise slowly looks over to her friend as a frown crossed her face. "You're the one he wants" The blonde deadpanned, utterly stunned about the recollection they had just discovered.
