--Chapter Seven: Voldemort's Twin Is A Kidnapper--
**************************
Like an army of trained soldiers, everyone in the rec room bolted upright -- except for Zeke of course, who was fast asleep on the table, being the child of Hypnos that he was.
The Greeks and Romans dashed towards the door, nearly stepping on each other in the process.
Fred rolled his eyes at this, but he was too anxious to say anything. Instead, he grabbed his spear that he always kept near him. This time, he kept it under the table.
The spear was a four feet long weapon with a slim wooden shaft and a wickedly sharp, Imperial gold point, while Fred's real name was etched on it's wooden shaft.
Fred felt comfort as he gripped it firmly, he waited for all of them to exit the Big House.
Once everyone was out of the Big House, Fred nearly had a heart attack.
Surrounding the camp's borders we're an army of storm spirits---- venti ( or anemoi thuellai ,as the Greeks preferred it to be called).
Some looked more human than others (probably because of the mist or something). Others looked like horses, but most of them were your regular angry storm spirit, complete with a body of swirling black vapor, demonic looking black smokey wings, furious expressions and trademark scowls.
The venti we're hissing angrily, pounding on the invisible barrier that kept them out, and for a moment, Fred could've sworn he saw a shadow running behind them, but it was so fast and dark, Fred thought he must've imagined it.
The Apollo cabin, a few skilled archers (he didn't know what cabin they were from) and two Romans that we're armed with bows and arrows tried to take them down, but they looked like they were having a hard time.
Fred was having a hard time too. The venti were causing strong gusts of wind here and there, causing a few campers to be knocked out of their balance, and crash to the ground, groaning and wincing in pain.
A few children of Jupiter --- or Zeus as they prefer it --, were trying their best to control the wind, but they were only about a dozen of them, and Fred knew that wasn't enough to stop a whole army.
"Fred!", Drake shouted, barely audible over the shouts of campers and the loud whizzing sound of the strong winds that came from the storm spirits.
He turned towards the raven-haired boy, who was panting heavily and cursing like there was no tomorrow.
"Oh, stynx", Drake swore, eyeing the enraged storm spirits. "What did the Zeus cabin do now?", he asked.
Fred raised an eyebrow at his statement, "Shouldn't I be asking you that?"
The son of Pluto--er, Hades, threw his hands up in exasperation, scowling as he replied, with venom in his voice. "It wasn't me this time!"
"This time?"
Drake ignored this, Fred knew why. This guy was like a magnet, attracting trouble where ever he went. The time they first met was when they held the annual Camp Jupiter vs. Camp Half-Blood capture the flag competition.
Instead of fighting each other, they had fought together against a giant scorpion that randomly appeared. Ever since then, they had become very close.
It was great friendship. Drake attracted trouble, and Fred gets the honor to kill it.
Simple.
Lu suddenly spoke from behind them, "The Golden Fleece!", she gasped in horror.
The two boys turned to her, she was frozen in spot, looking extremely pale.
"The what?", Drake asked, confused.
Lu didn't seem to hear him, she bolted towards Half-Blood Hill, trying her best to not be blown away by the winds. Drake tried to follow, but a gust of wind knocked both Fred and Drake off their feet, causing them to painfully slam into the earth.
They groaned and scrambled to stand up and get their weapons, so that they can run after the daughter of Athena. Who was running dangerously close to the storm spirits.
"What in Hades is she running after?", Drake asked, puzzled.
Then Fred saw it.
A cloaked figure was walking towards Thalia's tree. Where a glittering golden fleece dangled from one of it's branches.
It was also where a huge dragon was situated, it's thick body wrapped around the tree's base. It's clawed feet planted firmly on the ground, preventing it from being blown away by the wind, it's bright menacing yellow eyes eyed the venti cautiously. Waiting for it to pass through the border so he can engage in battle and kill them.
Fred recalled it was named Peleus.
Peleus suddenly bolted upright, Fred saw why.
The figure (which was too far away to clearly see) had passed right through the magical barrier and was walking nonchalantly towards the massive dragon, who growled at every step the figure took.
Peleus growled as the cloaked guy held up a vial, filled with strange liquid. Fred hoped Peleus would kill him by now, but the dragon must've been loyal to it's duties. It didn't let the Golden Fleece out of it's sight.
The figure just raised the vial and was going to let the liquid spill on Peleus when he was suddenly tackled by a familiar blonde girl.
"LU?!", Drake shouted in disbelief.
The girl was practically wrestling with the guy. She kicked the vial out of it's hand, and the liquid spilled on the grass, which withered and died.
Poison.
He was planning to steal the Golden Fleece so he could poison the tree and destroy the barrier.
The words from the prophecy echoed in his head. 'To savage beasts, the camps unfurl'
"Drake!", Fred shouted, in a panic. "We have to help her!"
"Gee, you think?", Drake replied, sarcastically But Fred was already rushing to Lu's aid.
The Zeus cabin noticed this and tried to block the wind from his path as he ran.
The other half-bloods had already engaged in battle. Throwing spears, javelines and magic spells at the storm spirits, but noone dared to leave the safety of the camp.
From all the pounding and force that the storm spirits did, he wondered how the barrier was still intact.
Suddenly growls erupted from the woods. Campers turned to find that the monsters that had stocked the woods we're acting up and started exiting the woods, eyes sharing the same furious and hungry glint.
Oh great, more enemies. Yipee!
The campers cursed in Amcient Greek and half of them we're already rushing to kill the monsters that popped up from the woods.
Great. A war on both the inside and outside of camp.
Fred had no time to worry about that now. Lu needed him.
The girl was kicking and punching the guy like there was no tomorrow. Lu pulled out a knife and slammed it's hilt into the figure's nose, Fred could've sworn he heard a cracking sound come from his nose.
Mars Almighty! That girl can hit seriously hard. One more hit and that guy would look like Voldemort!
The figure-- who Fred decided to call 'Voldemort's twin-- growled in agony, and with an effort, he seized Lu's wrists, causing her to let go of her knife. The figure grunted and pulled out his own knife.
Without thinking, Fred raised his spear and let it fly out of his grip.
The spear struck the guy's gleaming weapon, which clattered to the ground. Making use of the distraction, Lu kicked him in the leg. He released her with a howl and the girl scrambled away, trying desperately to find her weapon, which was blown away by the wind.
Fred surged forward, he looked back to see Drake kill some kind of monster Fred didn't recognize. Drake drove his sword into it's stomach and it exploded in a shower of dust.
He looked paler than before and more tired than ever.
He looked in no condition to shadow travel.
"FRED DUCK!", just in time, Fred and Drake fell to the floor, as a knife sailed inches above their heads, thrown by no other than the guy that had a broken nose, a.k.a Voldemort's twin.
They helped each other to stand, but the venti had other plans. They caused stronger winds to be thrown at them, making them fall. Again.
Gods, this was getting annoying.
"LET GO OF ME!",They turned to see that the guy was already on the other side of the border. Lu was being held against her will by one of the storm spirits that resembled a dark angel. "RELEASE ME YOU STUPID SON OF A GORGON! YOU--"
The Angel-like storm spirit looked pissed and stuffed her mouth with cloth.
She thrashed, kicked and screamed out muffled curses, but there was no use.
Voldemort's twin sat on top of one of the horse-like spirits and without another word, shot towards the sky and vanished behind the clouds, the venti followed in suit, with a thrashing Lu in tow.
They rocketed towards the sky and vanished behind a curtain of clouds.
The campers who we're still engaged in battle with the monsters from the woods didn't notice the retreating storm spirits.
But the rest did, and they all froze in shock staring at the sky. Lightning painted the sky with streaks of zigzagged bright lights and thunder rumbled overhead.
Fred dropped to his knees, so did Drake.
The campers that finally noticed that the storm spirits were gone, cheered.
But the Drake and Fred didn't.
Lu was gone. She was abducted. Just like all the other demigods. And it was all Fred's fault. If he had been fast enough.....
He cursed, ashamed of his inability to save her. It was all his fault and he knew it. Because of him, Lu was gone. Abducted by a person--god--monster-- Voldemort's twin--whatever.
She was gone. And because of this, she was at the mercy of their cruel hands.
Suddenly, a realization dawned on him.
Lu was gone, taken by Voldemort's twin himself, along with his army of mini hurricanes, she was taken. And she would probably be sacrificed to resurect someone-- or something.
He cursed under his breath.
What were they planning to do with her? Use her to ressurect Voldemort?
Sweeping the random thought aside, he quickly, he ran towards where his spear lay, beside it was Lu's gleaming celestial bronze knife. Feeling a pang of dread, Fred fastened the weapon into his belt and promised to give it to her when he found her.
Determined, he helped Drake up.
"What now?", Drake asked, eyeing the knife on his belt.
Fred's expression hardened. "Now, we save her"
Drake nodded and ran towards Chiron to tell him what happened. The old centaur looked exhausted from shooting arrows and only then did Fred realize how tired he was, too. Battling against miniature hurricanes was not exactly his definition of 'energizing' .
Fred looked up at the sky, and for a moment, the clouds in the sky had the exact same color of Lu's stormy grey eyes.
He'd find her. He had too.
For every half-blood they lost. The more monsters and gods get ressurected.
And honestly, he rather want the dead.... well.... dead.

Author's Note:
Well what do you think? It's boring isn't it?
Oh well. ㄟ(ツ)ㄏ
Yeah. As I always say. This is unedited, rushed and crappy.
As it always is. And will always will be.
After all this time?
ALWAYS.
Crap. I can't. Whenever I hear that word I think of Alan Rickman.
(╥_╥)(╥_╥)(╥_╥)(╥_╥)
It makes me want to cry.
----back to the topic at hand----
I'm sort of rushing it, because I'm not actual updating any of my other books. And it's only a matter of time before people start screaming.
