Juliette felt the shift in the air when she and Calliope had their twins, Julius and Julia. One of them inherited her vampirism. She suspected it was Julius. She talked to Calliope about it, and they both agreed to tell him when he is older.

As Julius and Julia grew, they told Julius about his vampirism. And all the questions were answered by his mother, Juliette, and he learned he and his sister were born to a legacy vampire and a human.

Julius woke up one day to a pounding in his head as if he was getting beaten by the sounds of the world tears welled in his eyes. He wiped them away as he let soft sobs slip through his lips. But the migraine was too much, and when he took the blood pills, they didn't seem to help him much anymore. His parents warned him about the pain of being a vampire, and he believed every word.

When he told his parents about it, they said to him that the pills only work for a short amount of time and that he would need to feed on human or animal blood soon or he could do something he would regret.

Fear started to follow him everywhere, fear of hurting the people he cared so deeply about; his mom and sister told him not to worry since Juliette would take care of him if anything happened.
