She stared at her 4a hair annoyed as fuck. Ginny walked into the bathroom shooting her a look of disgust and Samira rolled her eyes parting her hair in the mirror. She took out two small sections for the bangs and spilt the rest into a middle part as Ginny brushed her teeth. Ginny looked out of her peripheral vision looking mesmerized by Samiras hair and she frowns looking in the mirror noticing hers. Sammy hides the frown from her face as Ginny's grows.

She felt...bad.

The girl who stood beside her brushing her teeth was insecure. Insecure of her hair, mind, and her looks. Samira saw a girl she once was, in her step sister and her heart hurt for her. Ginny spits out her toothpaste as Samira does her edges. Samira stares at the style contently as Ginny walks out of the bathroom before Samira could try and talk to her.

Samira walked in her room elated at the various art supplies she had bought. She lays them all down on her bed organizing them when someone busts into her room. She turns around seeing Max,Abby,Norah run up to her as Ginny trails behind them. "Oh my god! I haven't seen you in forever!!" Max says dramatically hugging Sammy and Samira shakes her head laughing. "I saw you two hours ago at school Maxine" she says turning back to her bed as Abby pokes around her room.

"Y'know I've never seen your room before Sammy" she says curiously as Samira shrugs as Max sighs. "Let's get back to what we needed to discuss people! Samira. We heard you have a little boyfriend" Max says wriggling her eyes and giggling and Samira internally folks her eyes.

"Oh! You heard about that?" Samira says scratching her head and Max nods eagerly. "Oh my God! Tell us who it is!!" Norah says excitedly sitting down criss cross on the floor. "Max. You have to promise not to get mad okay?" Samira says and Max nods confused. Samira seriously contemplates whether she should tell the girls this secret when she lays her eyes on Ginny who had a smug look on her face.

"Fuck it! I'm dating Marcus" she says in one breath and the whole room goes into a prolonged silence. Samira breathes in and out as everyone stares at her in shock except Ginny who was munching on potato chips. "I knew it!!" Max days letting out a gasp of excitement.

Samira says surprised as Ginny's face turned a light shade of red. "Of course I am! We can be sister in laws!!" Max days hugging the girl and Samira nods as Ginny huffs in the corner.

The group of girls sat on Max's bed watching God awful porn. Norah and Abby giggled as the woman moaned making Samira shake her head cackling. "Bro what the hell!!" Samira finally escaped from the group of girls and she sat on the floor of her room mixing paint together. She finally got the shade of brown she wanted as she painted the inside of her person's sketch. She reaches over grabbing her phone as she connects her speaker softly playing "Honest" by Baby Keem from her Spotify as she hummed along to it. She hears a knock on her door and she pauses the song as Austin enters her room.

"Sammy?" He says and she puts her paintbrush down. "Yeah Austin?" She questions as he comes in and sits down next to her. "I can't sleep" he says quietly as she glances over at the time which read "12:42 pm". "Wanna hang out with me?" She questions and he nods immediately which makes her smile. She grabs her computer from her nightstand and pulls up Netflix. "Wanna watch 'Sharkboy and Lavagirl'?" She says looking to him and he immediately shakes his head. She side eyes him hard as he laughed a little.

He says and a few people in the crowd scream for Padma including Sammy and Marcus. Samira looks over to get a better look at the band and Ginny seems almost defeated by the comment.

Samira nods commemorating him for the song even if she thought it sucked ass and this dude couldn't sing for absolute shit. She looked up to see Ginny looking at her with a sorrowful look in her eyes.

'I'm sorry' Virginia mouths and Samira nods. 'It's okay' she mouths back in response.
