"HOW MUCH LONGER IS THIS GOING TO LAST?" Ginny asked annoyed as Samira scrolled on Pinterest for her next hairstyle. "That's the problem.Your mom wants this to be a slumber party" Max replied looking up making Ginny put on a look of shock. "What? No! I wanna go to your house!" Ginny complained as Samira inwardly rolled her eyes. "Then ask to go?" Samira replied not looking up. "No one was talking to you Samira, shut up" She replied making Samira look up and give her a warning look, as to say not to mess with her, making Ginny crumple. "Well, I wanna go" Norah said trying to break the tension as Max agreed. "Abby?" Maxine asked making Abby look up."Oh, I don't know. I mean, this was...this was kinda really nice. Yeah, your mom put a lot of effort for us, it's sweet" Abby said making Samira nod in agreement, glad someone had said it.

"Are you going soft on us Abigail?" Max playfully asked. "No, no, no.Like obviously, I want to go get wasted. Whoo-whoo!" Abby said defensively, making Samira sigh and walk away from them all. She walked to Georgia's room, knocking on it gently. "Yes, sweetpea?" Georgia answered looking up. "Can I go to Marcus' for a few hours?, I'll be back before late" Samira asked, making Georgia nod."Just be back by ten, alright? And text me when you get there," Georgia replied with a warm smile. Samira smiled back, relieved. "Thank you," she whispered before heading down the hallway.

"Hi!" Samira excitedly said, jumping on Marcus' bed. "Hello, pretty," He spoke making her smile. "I thought you were with bro squad today for Gin-Gin's birthday?" He questioned making her sigh. "I had to escape them, they were doing way too much" She said, getting comfortable within his arms. "But how was your day? We barely saw each other" She added turning to him and clasping their hands together. Marcus chuckled, tightening his arms around her. "My day was okay, I missed you though" he mumbled into her neck. "I missed you too, one day imma just escape them for a whole day and you can essentially kidnap me!" She said joyfully sighing as Max bursted in the room. "I'm borrowing Mira " Max said grabbing the girls hand as she shook her head repeatedly. Samira shook her head, looking up at Marcus with an exasperated smile. "I don't wanna go back to hell!," she said with a dramatic sigh, making Marcus snicker as Samira gave him a look. "Come with me? Just for a few minutes and then we can come back?" She begged making him sigh.

"Fine"

"Hunter went down on me" Ginny said excitedly as Samira did a fake cartoonish gulp in surprise making Ginny turn around. The other girls cooed as Marcus blinked as he and Samira shot each a look. "Hey, Marcus" Ginny said, almost shocked that he heard her as Samira squinted her eyes at the interaction. Marcus gave her a small smile as he took Samira's hand. "Happy, Birthday" He said grabbing the bottle of alcohol and leading his girlfriend upstairs. "God, I actually can't stand that hoe" Samira expressed taking a swig out of the bottle of alcohol before passing it to him. "Everytime i'm around her she just infuriates me" Samira said laying down and looking up at the ceiling. "Then let's not be around her" Marcus suggested making Sammy look up at her boyfriend. "Ice cream?" He suggested making her break out into a wild grin.

"Fuck yes"

"Do you hear the cops?" Marcus asked as they headed back with their ice cream. "Oop" Samira said watching Ginny being pulled into a cop car. Marcus pulled her behind a tree so the police wouldn't see them, as he kept his arms on her waist. "El-oh-el! That's fucking funny" Samira said laughing as she put another spoonful of ice cream in her mouth. "Shit, that means I gotta pick up Max" Marcus said sighing making Samira giggle. "Good thing we left when we did" She spoke making him nod. Samira felt her phone ring making her pick it up to see Georgia calling her. "Shit, I think I gotta get home" She spoke frowning looking up as Marcus nodded. She glanced at her phone. Georgia's name flashed on the screen, and she bit her lip, feeling a twinge of disappointment as she looked back at Marcus.

Marcus nodded, giving her a small, understanding smile. "Guess the night had to end sometime," he said with a shrug, but his eyes softened as he reached over to brush a strand of hair from her face. "I'll walk you back. Gotta make sure you get home safe, you know?" Samira couldn't help but smile at his protectiveness. "Alright, knight in shining armor," she teased, squeezing his hand as they started down the path (which mind you was right across the street).

As they reached her house, Marcus stopped, pulling her into one last hug. "Thanks for the great escape," she whispered, resting her head against his chest, feeling the warmth of his arms around her."Anytime," he murmured back, pressing a light kiss to the top of her head. "Goodnight lover boy!" She spoke warmly kissing his lips quietly with a grin on her face.
