When I woke up, I found myself hanging from chains with guards in the room. I sigh knowing there's no way to escape.

I hang my head, feeling disappointed in myself. Someone comes into the room and I hear fighting, causing me to shoot my head up. Fighting the guards was Soundwave. He knocks the guards out and releases me from my chains. I fall to the ground and Soundwave helps me up.

"Soundwave? Why are you helping me?", I ask.

I hear a hiss of air and Soundwave removes his visor. He checks me for wounds before answering my question.

"Because Starscream should not have put you in here", he says. I nod still confused.

"So what am I supposed to do?", I ask, confused as ever and trying to figure something out.

"Well, when Megatron awakes, he'll most likely want to kill you and Starscream wants to kill you, too. I think the best options are to either go rogue or join the Autobots", he says.

I nod thinking about my choices. "I'll go join the Autobots, if they'll accept me."

"Very well. Be careful, Blazewing", Soundwave says. I nod, looking at Soundwave one last time, just barely noticing how pretty his purple optics are.

"Call me Blaze", I tell him before making a last minute decision. I kiss him on the cheek and run out the door.

As I run, I send a wave of happiness over one bond and sadness over the other. I receive questioning feelings from my twin and my Sire.

I open a mind link and tell them some of what occured.

'So Starscream and most likely Megatron want to kill me so I'm leaving the Decepticons. Sire, do you think the Autobots will accept me?', I ask.

'I do believe so, Blaze Wing', Sire answers.

'I'll miss you, Vain Cherry', I say as I run out to the flight deck to see Sire driving towards me.

'I'll miss you, too, Annoying Cherry', KO replies. I chuckle and stop beside Optimus.

"What are you doing here?", I ask.

"Stopping Starscream from melting his way down to an energon deposit", he answers. I nod and transform, driving alongside him.

We manage to stop Starscream and escape but only because Megatron stopped Starscream from killing us.

Optimus called for a ground bridge but he wasn't the only one who needed one. Ratchet and Bumblebee needed one too. I spot a familiar face sitting one Bumblebee' shoulder.

"Raf!", I exclaim happily. All of the bots looked at me, confusion showing on their faceplates. I chuckle before explaining.

"I assumed a human form for a while. June Darby, Jack's mom, "adopted" me. I pretended to be mute. I'm surprised Jack didn't tell you",  I say.

"Wait, Coral?", Raf asks.

"Yep. Coral Cortell was the name I went by", I grin.

Raf smiled and we got a ground bridge back to the Autobot base. I'm surprised the Autobots accepted me so quickly. I will miss my brother and Soundwave  but it was necessary for me to leave.

When we get to base, Sire shows me my berthroom. I see a berth, some shelves and a computer.

"This is where you'll be spending most of your time, I assume?", he asks. I only nod.

"I will send someone to find you when Miko arrives so she can give you a tour of the base", he says before leaving. I log onto the computer and set up my com-link.

I feel worry through the bond from Knock Out and I send reassurance. Knock Out opens a mind link.

'Are you all good with the Autobots?', he asks.

'Yep. How are you and Soundwave doing?', I ask.

'We're fine. You should be more worried about Starscream', Knock Out says.

'Why should I be worried about the mech who imprisoned me?', I ask.

'True, true', Knock Out says.

'Hey, I kinda want to talk to Soundwave but I need his personal com-link or you could give him mine and we could talk then...', I trail off.

'Aww, does someone have a crush?', Knock Out teases.

'No! I just... never got to thank him for helping me escape...', I say quickly.

'Aww, you totally have a crush on the Decepticon TIC', Knock Out says.

'Shut up', I say sending feelings of embarrassment and mock anger through the bond. He only sends a loving feeling back.

I roll my eyes and then he says, 'I told Soundwave you want to talk to him and I gave him your personal com-link.'

'Okay', I say before cutting off the mental link.

I got a message on the computer and check it. I smile when I see it's from Soundwave.

'Hey, Knock Out said you wanted to talk.'

'Yeah. I never got the chance to thank you for helping me escape.'

'It's fine. I did what I would do for any bot.'

'I don't believe that. Knock Out told me about Wheeljack. You didn't help him escape.'

'Okay, I did what I thought was right. You didn't do anything wrong.'

'I helped two Autobots enter Megatron's mind to help find a cure for Optimus.'

'Who is your Sire. You did what you could to help your family.'

'Fine. But still, thank you for helping me.'

'It was nothing.'

'And yet it meant everything to me. If you had left me there, I would probably be dead and yet I am safe with the Autobots.'

I hear pedesteps and quickly send a message.

'Someone's coming, I gotta go.'

I close down the link just as Bulkhead enters.

"Blaze Wing, this is Miko", Bulkhead says as he gestures to a very familiar Japanese girl.

"Hey Miko! Remember me?", I exclaim.

"Uh... no? Should I?", she asks very confused.

"Oh wait! Wrong form!", I exclaim. I transform into my human form.

"Coral?!", she exclaims.

"Yep!"

"Wha- but... how?!"

"Uh... I honestly don't know..."

"Oh..."

"Yeah..."

"Anyways, how about a tour?"

"Sounds great!"

I transform back into my bot mode and Miko begins the tour. Once we finish Miko looks up at me.

"We need to change that Decepticon symbol to an Autobot symbol", she says. I nod and she leads the way to the main room.

"Hey, Ratchet! Can you change Blaze's symbol to an Autobot one?", Miko shouts. I had to refrain from covering my audio receptors. How is she so LOUD!?

"Huh? Oh. Yes, yes. Come over here, Blaze Wing", Ratchet says.

I walk over to him and he begins to change the Decepticon symbol to and Autobot one. After several minutes, he finished.

"Thank you, Ratchet", I say with a small smile. Ratchet freezes up for a second before he responds.

"You're welcome."

I stand up and walk over to the human area. The kids were playing a racing game.

Sire had gone for a drive before when he suddenly came speeding back into base. He didn't transform immediately though.

"Optimus, what's wrong?", Ratchet asks.

"I ran over two humans on accident", he responds in a pained voice. I sigh knowing he hates hurting any human beings.

"Did you bring them back here?", I ask.

"I did", Sire says. I immediately transform into my human form and look inside.

"Azure!", I exclaim in shock.

"Azure?", Ratchet asks.

"I knew her! I was here a long time before the war even left Cybertron. Azure's family took care of me until I was about fourteen. Azure had just barely turned fifteen", I say with a sad tone to my voice.

"Why until you were fourteen?", Jack asks.

"Their house caught on fire. I made it out with ease. Azure and her little brother, along with their parents didn't. I got put into the system where June Darby adopted me. I haven't seen Azure until now", I say.

"She had a young boy with her", Sire says.

"That would be her little brother who I cannot seem to remember his name", I say.

Azure started to wake up and I smile.

"Ugh, my head... what happened? Where's Sebastian?!", Azure asked, starting to panic.

I snap my fingers when she says Sebastian, startling Azure.

"What?! Wait... CC, is that you?", she asks.

"Hey, Az!", I say with a grin.

"Where am I? And seriously, where is Sebastian?", she asks.

"You are in Autobot Outpost Omega One and Sebastian? is in back", Sire says.

"Sire, don't scare her! She doesn't know you exist yet!", I exclaim playfully.

"Wait, what? Sire? Coral, what are you talking about?", Azure asks.

"Yeah, what are you talking about?", a young boy who looked about 10 asks, startling me.

"Come on out and I'll show you", I say with a grin.

"Okay...", Azure says. She comes out along with Sebastian and they see the team. Sire transforms and Azure and Sebastian turn around and stare in shock.

"Hey, you ran us over!", Azure exclaims.

"Indeed and I am terribly sorry for that", Sire says.

"So... who and what are you?", Sebastian asks.

"We are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron", Sire starts. "My name is Optimus Prime and this is my team. Ratchet, our medic. Arcee and Bulkhead, our warriors. Bumblebee is our scout and Blaze Wing", he gestures to me, "is my daughter."

"Um... how is Coral, uh, Blaze Wing your daughter?", Azure asks.

"Oh! This isn't my true form!", I exclaim. I transform back into my true form and smile down at Azure and Sebastian.

"Woah...", Azure says. I laugh and look to Sire.

"They will need guardians."

"Indeed. Blaze Wing, you will watch over Sebastian. Ratchet, you will watch over Azure", Sire says.

"Okay", I say just as Ratchet says, "But-"

I cut him off. "Ratchet, no buts." Miko and Sebastian snicker.

"But-"

I cut him off again. "What did I just say?"

"Fine."

I laugh before looking at Sebastian.

"Hey, Sebastian, you wanna go for a drive?", I ask.

"Sure!", he says. I transform and open my passenger door.

"Hop in!", I say. He does and I drive off.
