Early morning where the sun just looking over the horizon, slowly going up. With a cool, and steady breeze blowing outside and the temperature is just right for a fight.

Grace woke up earlier than everyone else, she was laying down on top bunk. She slowly gets out of bed. She look into the closet and take out her school jacket than wear it. She buckle up her jacket before she open the window to let the cool breeze into the room. When she open the window she notice dex wandering into the woods with something in his hand. Grace sneakily jump out of the window and land softly on the ground. She quietly stalk dex into the woods. "Hehe going to found his secret hole hideout than scare the soul out of him." grace laugh quietly as she stalk through the shadows.

As grace peer around the tree, she noticed dex standing in front of a creature of some sort towering over him. "What is going on?" grace muttered. As grace gets closer the dex, she notice the creature wearing a strange looking mask. It's almost look like a animal face with a strange looking question mark on the forehead, and it was made with some dark blue wood for everything. Grace is still far away from them to noticed but she is also far away to hear what they are talking about. As dex hold out his hand to drop the thing he was holding. As soon as the creature grab it; it was engulf with bright blackish red flames. It took only moments before the creature was turn to ashes and what's left of it was its mask.

Grace steps out of the shadow, confused on what's going on right now. Dex turns his heads towards her as she was stepping on old leaves. "how's the morning?" dex ask with one of his hand up

"Uhh it's good." grace answered. They have a long stare off before grace could ask a question.

"What were you doing with that creature?" grace finally ask.

"Oh him," dex points at the ash "well i was going to trade him some 'powerful' sword to him for a magical mask made by the demons. But i change my mind and kill him just to take his own mask" dex answered as he take the mask that's left on the pile of ashes. Dex toss it to grace, who caught by accident. "Why you giving this to me?" grace ask

"Eliza told me you like wolves so there you go. And it's too small to fit correctly on my face." dex answered, grace put on the mask and quickly took it off due to its terrible smell. "Well look like i have to clean this now," grace said sadly. "And what are you going to do with that sword?" Grace ask. "It's just a wooden stick that i put a spell on it." dex answered. Grace quickly follow dex, who is venturing deeper into the woods.

Dex stop at a small clearing almost like the first day of school. "Why are we here?" grace ask

"We're going have some fun." dex said before walking into a large shrubbery and cut it with some magic. Hiding in the shrubbery was a pile of wooden weapons. "Pick a weapon that you feel comfortable using against me. You can pick more than one if you want." dex said and walk to the side for grace to pick. Grace walk over to the pile of weapons, as she scan the pile, the weapons are well built and seem to have no flaws. Grace pick up a bow and a quiver of blunt cloth tip arrows, and also a curve knife. "Their i'm done." grace said dex walk over the pile and take out a dagger. Dex motion his hand to grace over to the other end of the clearing. It took a while before both of them are ready to fight one another.

The wind is blowing a nice breeze at them. Grace place down the wolf mask at the edge of the clearing for safe keeping. Dex is twirling the dagger around his hand, waiting for grace. Grace took in a deep breath before locking eyes with dex like a hungry wolf. Grace nock a arrow on the bow than draw it back before raising it. Dex stood their twirling his dagger still waiting for her attack. Grace raise the bow now, than release the arrow towards dex. Dex step aside as the arrow barely glaze his jacket. Grace launch a arrow up in the air and launch two arrows at the same time in different arc. Dex can only block one over the head and the rest hit him hard in the gut and the ribs. Dex rub his chest before grace launch her last arrow before the bow string snap due to how fast grace draw. The last arrow bareilly hit his throat, but dex grab it in mid flight and snap it. Grace quietly growls in excitement as she about to go into melee combat. Grace toss the quiver aside and also the bow, she took out a knife then charge towards dex with the knife downward. Dex put up a stance ready for any attack that grace might pull. Grace try to slice dex sideways, but dex block it then counter attack with a reverse slash on her. Grace quickly drop on the floor just to dodge the slash then quickly roll away just to gain some distance from him. Grace look at dex trying to found a opening for a attack.

She was surprise that dex leaves so many opening just to bait her into attacking him. Grace got a idea and mutter a spell without dex knowing and have lightish green acid pool around dex to trap him in. grace charge in to land a attack on dex by jab the knife with the charge. Dex jump sideways into a acid pool which just causing pain to dex and not burning him. Before dex can react to it, grace land a hit on dex right at the arrow wound on his chest. Dex quickly recovered and get out of the pool and out of the range of the grace for a while. But it wasn't too long before grace attack dex with an overhead slash. Dex block it but now they are lock into a stalemate with grace pressuring down on dex and dex doing to same to grace. For a short moment they were lock together before dex quickly let his left hand stop holding the dagger and punch grace in the gut than retreat back after grace stagger back abit. Both of them stood their staring at each other waiting and breathing heavily. Dex first on to act and it was fast, dex quickly blind grace for a short while with a flash of light and quickly have grace shadow turn solid and launch forwards towards grace back knocking her far forward. Than dex side kick grace as she is 'flying' towards him. Grace quickly regain her sight and quickly block the kick with her arm. Grace land on her back but quickly gets back up. Dex toss his dagger towards grace, and grace hit the dagger away but the knife she was holding was knock away as she hit the dagger away.

Now it's a fist fight between them two. They steadily circle around just to catch their breath before proceeding on. Grace and Dex smiled in enjoyment of the fight, grace slowly getting ready to charge towards dex who is also doing the same. In a matter of seconds, they launch towards one another. Both Dex and Grace throws a sucker punch at one another, than dex just jab grace gut before kneeing her face. Grace wince as she got punch in the gut and buckle down, but she block the knee attack by punching dex arrow bruise in the gut. Dex stagger back and catching his breath, but grace left no room for recovery and start throwing punches mercilessly towards dex. Dex was out of breath as he try to block grace fierce attack. As the last moment both grace and dex scream then punch each right into the temple.

Both dex and grace slowly slump down to the ground, they are laying down near each other breathing heavily. "dra-aw ?" dex ask, grace nod her head agreeing with that. Grace was the first one to get up after a long minutes of laying down. She stretched out her hand towards dex to grab. Dex grab grace and lift himself up off the ground. "Man you're one heck of a fighter." dex said and grab his knee breathing heavily. "You must be tired out, old bones." grace said with a smirk.

"Yeah yeah whatever. My vision is all blurry and fizzy with blackness. I think i need some drink and a shady tree." dex said trying to steady himself. Grace put dex arm around her neck and help dex walk over to a shady tree close to them. "Well. . . it look like i can trust you to cover my back now." dex said and put his fist up in the air. Grace nod and keep on sitting as she try to cool down. "Your magic is pretty dangerous, grace." dex said

"Yeah thanks. Luckily it can't kill you or something while we were fighting. And it was pretty annoying to deal with when there's so many green around here." grace said

"And it's great to deal with those earth magic when they try to protect themselves. But pretty sure water can completely counter your acid." dex said

"Yeah they can counter it."

Dex and grace just sit there before getting back up. "Lets go back to the school now." grace suggest and dex agree. "We definitely need to take a shower." dex said

"I don't need to take a shower. I have natural flower smell cause i'm fabulous." grace said as she flip her hair. Dex roll his eyes as she said that. Grace quickly grab the mask and follow dex back to the school ground.
