Day 2 of battle royal. Morning breeze blew into the room. The nice chilly wind filled the room. Dex is sleeping close to the wall. Nico's leg is hanging off the bunk bed. Nik is all cover up facing outward. Brin is a messy sleeper with just his leg cover-up and the covering is messy. The beginning of the battle is only a few hours away. The girls woke up early, Grace is looking out of the window leaning on it as the chilly wind made her breath barely visible. Eliza, sitting on the desk drawing a nice pretty picture of the tree that rests on top of a hill near the dorm. Ash is taking a nice hot shower as steam can be visibly seen leaving the closed door. Lily is pacing around the room nervously about today, she is nibbling on her nails a bit nervously.

Dex, he slowly wakes up groaning as he rubs his eyes yawning. He is the first one to wake up. Dex looks around at first before he gets out of the bed. He walks to the window to get some fresh breeze on his tired face. He watches some greenish yellow bird flying in the sky like they are dancing to a song. Dex smiled before he turns around and gets his uniform. He carries his uniform into the restroom to take a nice shower.

Nik woke up next, he got up groaning as he rubs the back of his messy head eyes closed still. He stretches out yawning before he opens his eyes. He closed them again as they aren't adjusted to the light in the room. He notices Dex woke up too, his bed is a mess and the flower near the window move out of place like someone was there. Then he turns feeling the steam coming out of the bathroom and the missing uniform.

"Well, this is the first. Dex woke early than me." Nik said to himself as he gets out of bed to stretch some more.

"Day two of battle royal. Hope we get to the quarterfinals." Nik mutter out loud. "Nah, I hope to beat the first team we faced." Nik turns around and sees Dex walk out of the restroom with a towel around his neck, in his uniform with his still messy wet hair.

"You could have dry off better." Nik said "well, I do not care about my looks." Dex responds back as he walks towards a chair by the desk.

"How could we beat them if our battle formation is one, one, then two. It would be a hard fight for you and me. Possible you'll fight the whole time by yourself too. Well if that happens then I have to do that." Nik is sprouting out his concern as he is nervous about it all.

"Don't worry. If the whole team go after me, I'll take one of them down for you." Dex said that as he chuckled.

"Oh, goodie 1 enemy out of whatever the number in their team," Nik said that sarcastically.

"Don't worry Nik, we all know I'm very defensive?" Dex said smiling with his arm out.

"Still, we don't want our meat shield to get to be tender" Nik jokingly said.

"I'm a good piece of sirloin then." Dex chuckled

"alright I'm going to take a shower then." Nik grabs his uniform and then enter the restroom to take a shower. Dex sits there yawning softly, thinking to himself.

Girl side

Grace is standing out front of the girl's dorm waiting for the rest to finish up. She stood there as people walk past her talking about boys and next fashion hit. She doesn't like "girly" things too much, she thinks it's bothersome. But she can't help but listen as a group of girl is gossiping about Nico, and Brin. But it's mostly about Nik.

"Man Nico is so hot!" G1

"Yeah I agree but come on Nik is way better than that guy." G4

"Yeah, he is like a knight in shining armor from how he fights." G2

"I heard he is going train with the royal guards after the battle royal." G1

"Man he must look so dreamy in the armor of the royal guards." G2

"But imagine those three in those armor" G3

They all giggling as they blush thinking of them. "but imagine them in those military formal wear." G3

"But what about that. ummmm, Dex guy?" G4

"I don't see anything good about him. though I guess he is good looking but not as good as the others." G2

"Yeah, he could be a good friend but I don't see anything else good about him." G1

"Maybe being friend with him, we could get close to those three." G3

"Hmm, that could work. But when we do see him, he is by himself quiet either reading or sleeping. Also he is annoyed if someone talked to him." G2

"Well he does seem like the type who study a lot so I guess it's stress that made him like that." G1

"They all seem like the study type beside Brin." G3

"Smart and strong, those type of men are attractive." G4

"Yeah, girl." G3

As they talk, one quietly screech as she notice Nik and Dex walking together talking.

"Omg, it's Nik!" G1

"Oh, the morning sunlight is shining brightly off of him." G3

"I want to walk up to him and say hi." G2

"Same. but I am too scared to go up and talk to him." G3

Grace is listening and laughing to herself from all the talk those girls are saying. People that notice her think she is going insane or something just because she is laughing to herself. She starts walking towards Dex and Nik waving. They wave back as she joins them. The group of girl is dumbfounded as some random chick casually talk to a hot guy and a tick. Then they slowly turn towards her. The feeling to jealousy as she is close to Nik being all buddy buddy. Grace smiled as she knows she made those girls jealous.

"Why you smiling right now?" Dex ask as he noticed

"Oh, it's nothing to worry about Dex. nothing to worry about." Grace said that giggling. Dex eye on her and then sighed

"Fine I won't dig any deeper." Dex said rubbing his head.

They have a nice chat as they walk through the courtyard. Dex and Grace notice people eyeballing in their general direction chattering about something. Dex thought they know that they are going to be in the battle royal. But Grace thinks they are eyeballing Nik out of lust or jealousy. They both laugh softly as Nik question these two sanities from them laughing randomly.

"Why I'm I between two demons?" Nik sarcastically asked. Grace laughs evilly rubbing both of her hands together manipulating her flames that she cast to form demon horns and tail.

"Hey. I'm a holy person. I just happen to have dark magic and rude to people, but I am still a holy person" Dex said that just to defend himself. Nik sighed to himself after Dex defended himself. After some minutes the trio reaches the cafeteria. The place is filled with laughter and talking. The trio walks to a line which gives out a bowl of tango rice with glazed ham, bacon, small pancake and a flask of magical milk... they think its milk. Dex sighs softly. Before joining the line with the rest.

"By now those two should be awake and either take a shower or just woke up," Nik said

"Yeah, I agree. Usually, I'm the last one to wake up." Dex said with a slight laughter

"I'm iffy, sometime I wake up early, other time I don't," Grace said as the line grew shorter. They talk a bit longer as they get their food. They walk out then sat down near an empty looking grass patch with a nice tree near the center of it, giving a nice shady place to sit. They relax as they eat their food. They talk about the battle royal as Dex and Grace try to steal each other bacon. Nik sat there chuckled as this is happening in front of him before Dex stole his bacon. A half hour has passed, the rest of both of their gang joined up with them.

"Hey Nik, did these two love bird made you feel uncomfortable?" Ash teasing them a bit, but Dex and grace doesn't notice what she said as they are eating.

"Nah, these two just like to fight with each other for some reason," Nik answered

"Well, I hope they didn't make you feel uncomfortable." Brin jokingly said

"They both made me uncomfortable when they laugh at the same time randomly," Nik said with a slight confusion on his face. They all laugh as the rest to get their food.

Once everyone is there, they have a nice talk and laughter as they sat in an oval shape. As time flew by, they all got up and walk to a huge group of upperclassmen. They were in the back of the crowd as the big clock show only two minutes left until the battle royal start at around 12:00. One the time struck high noon, an old man floating down before stopping like 8 feet up in the air. The senile old wizard man, cough and drank some water before he speaks. The old man opens his mouth. The old man voice was very crisp but the power of each word feel that it was stacked on top one another, crushing them under them.

"WELCOME TO DAY 2 OF THE BATTLE ROYAL SURVIVORS!"
