A nice, calm city thats near at the border of lanish, a group of friends playing out in the field in the morning thats is close to the city.
"Hey dex wake up and join the sword sparring!" One of them said, "yeah yeah fine i going to join you brin." Dex gets up yawning. "Man why you gotta be so lazy dex." Another one said, "what ever nico, you guys know how i like my sleep." dex said while walking towards them. "Hey where is nik? He is missing all the fun." Brin said "Nik told me that he will be busy today." Said nico "well i hope he finish what he is doing, its boring just have the three of us sparring." Said dex, "well either way lets keep on sparring. Hey dex your sparing dagger is under your feet right now." Said brin as he pointing at the wooden dagger.
<half hour or so later>
"HEY HOPE I DIDN'T MADE YOU WAIT LONG TIME!" A kid running towards them yelling. "Its fine nik, whats in your mind? You seem like you saw the princess." Niko said grinning at him "yeah what ever, but i have great news!" Nik said happily "what? You got yourself a girlfriend?" Brin said laughing, dex and nico laugh along side with him. "Yes but i turn her down, also at least i did get ask out." Nik said grinning at him, Dex tried to hold back the laugh but couldn't. "Shut up dex! Well whats the good news?" Brin ask "i heard that a official convoy is coming to this city at this moment to pick all the old enough kids to the capital to be tested on our magic ability and our strength." Nik said excited, they all cheered from that news and high five one another. "We all could be together to form a official team in the academy to beat the other academy ass!" Brin yelled and than throw his fist up in the air, the other join him. "Hahaha we got each other back to the very end! Right brin?" Dex said with a smile on his face and holding nik and nico shoulders. "Yes we do dex, we have each other back till the very end." Brin said smiling, as they cheer they hear one of the guard walking towards them, "hello merry band of misfits." The guard said smiling joyfully "hey Alex, how was your talk with the inn waitress?" Nico ask him laughing, "it didn't go well, she out right refuse my love." Alex said "but anyway i been ordered to bring you to the mayor Austin home." Alex said about to walk away "what? We didn't do anything terrible today!" Nik said "well you guys little trick with mayor aAustin from other day still didn't get a verdict." Alex smile, they sighed and follow him to the mayor home.
As he open the door they were shock to see the academy high wizard talking to the mayor austin. Tall person wear a Dark blue robe with a dark blue cape and a dark blue hood, on the cape theirs enchantments on the sides of the cape and for the hood theirs a magic characters on it. As for the robe theirs a great amount of authority aura coming out of it as if they are talking to a higher up. "Oh hello boys. I heard you boys are talented in this area." The hooded figure said than turning around and wave the guard off. "Umm it.. Its a a honor to.. to  meet you." Nik said and bowed, the rest follow his lead and bowed, the hooded person laugh. "Didn't you said these boys are troublesome folk mr.mayor? Hooded man ask, "well they are troublesome kids, but they know when and who to be respect." Mayor austin said. "Hey mr. Chubby i know how to show respect." Brin said grinning as he stop bowing, mayor vein on his head been pop with anger. "Hey boy show some respect to me." He yelled at brin, brin stick his tongue out at him. The hooded person laugh "man mayor you have good relationships with these boys, but lets get down to business." As he said that he/she walk closer to them. "Im taking you four and other kids to the capital to be tested, don't worry i already inform your parents about this, well at least mr. Mayor did, we are leaving now and don't worry you can see your parents tomorrow after the test ok?" Before they can respond to the hooded person, he/she cast a teleportation magic sending them to the castle yard where more and more group of kids appearing.
A old man start floating down from the castle tower and said, "welcome young ones! Today you well be tested on your spectral energy thats dwell within all of you to see if your qualified to be a apprentice in our academy!" As he done saying that a loud powerful voice appear near the gate of the castle, a somewhat old guy that seem to be a commender of some sort. "WE ALSO TESTING ON YOUR STRENGTH TO SEE IF YOU ALSO QUALIFIED TO BE A FIGHTER APPRENTICE IN THE ACADEMY!" After they finish the announcement, theirs roar of cheers and talking everywhere. For awhile of talking theirs a loud boom and everybody freak out and turn their head towards the old wizard who is on top of a crystal of some sort. "This will test your energy, once you put your hand on it, it will laminate a color orb, depend on the color is depend on what type of magic you can use, the amount of orbs mean how much magical energy is within you." Old man said. "AS FOR ME, YOU HAVE TO MAKE A DENT ON THIS ROYAL GUARD COMMANDER SUIT OF ARMOR WITH YOUR FIST!" The commander yelled. "First of group 1 step up please to be tested out." Both oldman and commander said. "Hey hooded guy, what group are we in?" Dex said "oh were group 431 basically were last." Hooded person smile "WHAT!" They all said at once all shock "man what would i do!?" Brin yelled "I dont know man!" Nico said "I DONT WANT TO WAIT ALL DAY!!" Nik yelled "I'm going take a nap so nighty night." Dex said and start walking under the closet tree and lay down. "Wake me up when its our turn." Dex said than fall asleep.
< Mid afternoon>
"Goldfish" said brin as he put a card down. "Luckly i thought this will happen so its a good thing i bring a deck of cards with me." Said the hooded person, "WE BEEN PLAYING CARDS FOR HOURS!" Yelled nico who through down his hand of cards on the floor. "Well at least one of us is having fun." Said nik and they all see sleeping dex. "Lastly team 431 please step up." Said the old man, they stood up "hey dex wake up its our turn." Said brin, dex slowly gets up yawning, they all walk up to the crystal, "ok i go first, than nico and than nik after that dex." Bring said "why i'm i last?" Dex protest "well us three was painfully bored so it must be fair that us three goes after you." Nico said, dex sigh and nod. "First one come up." Brin walk up to the crystal and calmly place his hand on the crystal and than it shock, than around hundreds of ice cold orbs appear and let out a freezing breeze, "WE GOT A RARE ONE!" Said the old man who is jumping gleefully, brin walk towards the armor and punch the armor making a dent on the armor. "Next! Oh i forget to tell you guys that you can go pick what you wanted to be tested first."
Brin walk down the stage and nod at nico who is next, he place his hand on the crystal which also shake than hundreds of burning fire orb appear letting out a intense heat out than disappear, "ANOTHER RARE ONE!" Nico walk towards the armor and punch it making a dent but smaller than brin.
"Next!" Nico walk past nik and pat his shoulder, nik walk to the crystal place his hand on the crystal, same thing happen to it and just one hundred shocking yellow orbs, lighting comes out of the crystal for a brief second and stop. "WHATS WITH THIS GROUP!" Nik walk towards the armor and punch it. It was same size as brin dent.
"NEXT!" Nik walk past dex and high five him. "Man i dont feel like doing the crystal first." He rub back of his head "than do the armor first you stupid cat!" Nico yell at him, he shrug it off and walk towards the armor and punch it, beside a dent on the armor, their was a crack, the commander and other officials stood their shock, "thats not surprising, dex here is a fist fighter." Brin said to the hooded person who nodded. As dex place his hand on the crystal it shock more than the other three. A bright light orb appear with a dark shadow orbs next to it. "My goodness a duel magic and its a RARE!" Said old man, but the others wasn't surprised about the duel magic, but how much orbs their is inside the crystal.
